The owner was very polite. He helped me do my bridal bouquet we designed it together. He ended up adding some stuff and made it even more beautiful was extremely happy couldn't believe how beautiful it looked and smelt was very tightly wrapped. Everything was perfect. Angelina was very helpful and very sweet. They even wrote me a little card with a nice personal message Would definitely suggest this place went back and have them do my bouquet for my daughter's teacher for Christmas and also went back for a Christmas bouquet for a photo shoot again they nailed it would definitely recommend this place no matter what you need for a floral arrangement plus they've won awards read more

I absolutely loved all of my flowers on the day. I was incredibly stressed the day before, and they were so communicative and kind, regardless of my bridezilla energy. They fully executed my vision and more, and we came fully out of state (me being from New York City and having incredibly high standards). Not only that, but our florist showed up in a shirt representing my husband and I's Alma Mater. Could not recommend them more. I called to order an arrangement to be delivered. I told them I wanted a bright and cheery spring arrangement to be delivered. I requested that I be sent a picture before the delivery. Called into the store for an order for my mother. Told the person I wanted a very traditional arrangement. I was very open to whatever flowers were in season. I said blue and white or green and white, tulips, etc....for $100 they sent her what looked to be a collection of leftover blooms. I was mortified when she sent the picture. The tulips look like they will die the next day. Very disappointed by the quality and style of arrangement. I gave it two stars because the order was delivered on time. read more

Amazing! I was in charge of ordering flowers for my sister's 60th bday that we were celebrating at the Emerald Grande in Destin. I am a florist in California and my sister wished I could make the arrangements for her party. I knew that was impossible but searched for a style like mine. Voila, I found Destin Florist! I spoke with Raphael myself and described my look for her. He knew exactly what I wanted and I felt the creativity was in his experienced hands. After our phone conversation I was completely at ease. He told me he would have the two arrangements I ordered delivered by noon. Everyone was arriving early afternoon. Upon arrival the arrangements were absolutely gorgeous!! I will begin by stating that I am the person that is being referred to in Cynthia K.'s review of your establishment. To be very clear to anyone that is intending on using this flower shop - at no point in time did I receive a quote for the flowers that I purchased over the phone. Blatantly lying on a platform like this where the people that you are discussing can see your comments is also not good business practice - beyond that it shows a lack of integrity. I spoke with Raphael who was incredibly kind and very helpful. I had been tasked with getting peonies for the bride. When Raphael told me he was able to locate them I was very excited. I am not a florists and did not have any idea that they were that expensive. At $12 a stem you would think someone would mention that upon ordering them. You don't know what you don't know. When I arrived to pick up the flowers I asked for a receipt and was told they did not have one. I was promised that I would receive it through email, at which point my email address was written on a piece of paper, this part of the response comment is true. I never received that email. It was not until two days later when reviewing my bank transactions that I saw the $152 charge. Needless to say I was stunned at what seemed like an obscene price. Convinced that it was an error I called the floral shop the next morning to speak with someone regarding the lack of a quote and a receipt. As luck would have it Raphael answered the phone. He remembered me because of the excitement I had expressed when he told me that he could get me the peonies I was so desperately seeking. During that phone call he admitted that he had not remembered to quote me the price on the phone. He apologized and then told me that someone had called after I had ordered the flowers to find out the price. I conveyed to him that I felt it was shady that I had not received a receipt upon arrival, that my credit card information had been taken without giving me a total, and that I had not received an email receipt as promised. He then proceeded to tell me that he could have charged me $15 a stem as it was a rushed order but did not as if this is supposed to make me feel better about what had happened. Bottom line is this - if you are in an industry where most people do not have knowledge of prices you should always quote them a price and give them a total at time of purchase. When you don't do that, it doesn't matter how many awards you have received or how beautiful your product is people feel like they have been had. Lesson learned. ALWAYS ask. read more

We were in Destin for vacation and were looking for peonies for a wedding. Destin Floral Design was able to accommodate us. However, they did not quote a price to the person placing the order. Also, conveniently were unable to provide a receipt upon pick-up of the flowers. They had the card information for the person placing the order and ran the charges on the card. It wasn't until then that she realized, she was charged $12 a stem for the peonies. RIDICULOUS!!! Very shady business practices!!! Looking back, we would have done some things differently, however, what type of business would not provide the cost at the time of the order or at the time of pick-up????? We will never use Destin Floral Design and hope others will be aware of their haphazard business practices!!! read more

I ordered over the phone, after talking with a store rep and viewing the selctions online. I was planning a vacation in Destin for a week in early Oct, and wanted to surprise my wife, once we arrived. We were both very excited to see the stunning bouquet. It was larger that expected. The fragrances were fresh and stimulating. The arrangement was the Spring Vase 2, and full of gorgeous flowers. They lasted along time, even days after an 11 hour car ride back to reality (our home). The design was artistic. I was actually on the beach when they were trying to be delivered, and they called twice, because our agreed upon 1st plan didn't work out. I just ordered flowers for a friend's birthday and was delighted by the arrangement she received. Coming from Atlanta I was expecting something much smaller for the price. Her arrangement was full of gorgeous, high end flowers and greenery. The design was artistic and beautiful, not some cookie cutter "this is what you get for this price and we make 20 of these a day" bouquet. No cheap fillers, the flowers were in great condition and lasted for days and days. Ordering was easy and the staff was super accommodating.
