He told me over the phone it would be $149. Then wanted to charge me $165 in person. When I mentioned what he said he honored the $149. Then he said he had to order the new screen and it would take a day or two to come in. He said he would call me Thursday or Friday. I made sure to point out I was anxious to get it back as I am a musician and have 300+ songs stored on it. On Friday afternoon I called him after hearing nothing. Brian was rude and said I told you we were backed up and it wouldn't be till Monday or Tuesday (That is not what he said). He continued to say you can come get it and I'll refund your money if you prefer. He was rude and short. I just wanted him to do what he said he could do. Six days later again I call him after hearing nothing. He said did you get my message on Wednesday (I had no message). He then said it would be ready Thursday afternoon by the time my wife gets there. When she arrived he told her it needed an additional part it needed to again be ordered and would be ready Friday or at the latest Monday. I called on Monday and left a message. Then my wife called and was told Brian was off that day and it would be ready Tuesday. Finally on Tuesday Brian called and said it was ready. 15 days of miscommunication and run around. Now my camera doesn't work when I reverse it. Half the screen is blacked out. After two weeks the home button quit working! What a joke. No way will I take it back. I found Brian to be arrogant and rude and a bit full of himself. Absolutely terrible communication and customer service. No apology for anything but rather he blamed me for the way I broke it. I regret that I didn't just buy a new one. I would never use this business again.

The computer worked great after that except the new battery wouldn't charge, so I brought it back in. They replaced it again and also replaced the I/O board, all in an effort to determine the cause of the problem and all considered warranty repair so there was no cost. Finally, when it still wouldn't charge they explained it was likely the logic board which is a very expensive repair. They said they could replace it, but given the cost, it's better to invest in a new laptop which was a really honest recommendation. But they salvaged the Macbook Air. Considering how much water was spilled on it, coming away with only a very slowly-charging battery is about as fortunate as it can get. All in all, they were very thorough, honest and the amount of time they spent trying to repair my Macbook Air was much appreciated, since a lot of the labor and parts were warranty. They called me regularly to update me on the job before replacing any part and making a recommendation. I'd bring any computer you need fixed to this location. They also offer military discounts. Although I didn't need it, they also do data recovery. Definitely deal with these guys before you send your computer in for service.
