It is so hard to find good plumbers/contractors that are fair, honest, and knowledgeable (and have…read moregood communication on top of that!), but that's what we found with Purewater Mechanical. We had leaking water from an unknown source and they were able to come same-day. They are very professional, INCREDIBLY honest, have fair pricing, and provided an overall no-BS experience. Our problem was found within 15 minutes when others could not find it at all. We will 100000% use Pure Water Mechanical for all of our future plumbing needs!

I first came across A+ plumbing from a recommendation of a friend almost 10 years ago when I was…read moreremodeling my kitchen and needed a plumber. Since then I've called on A Plus plumbing several times for various issues and recommended him to numerous friends/neighbors. Rick is a one man operation and the advantage of that is you always know what you're going to get. He is responsive, fair, honest and a very good plumber. Plumbing work isn't cheap but Rick is fair and treats his customers well and is the first call I make for any of my plumbing needs. He has always been within his estimates and a couple of times it took him less time and he charged me accordingly (honesty with a plumber is a great quality). I highly recommend A plus plumbing.

Econo Sewer & Drain charged me over $500 to clear roots from sewer pipes in November, 2025. Soom…read moreafter that I discovered that the sump pump caused the water back up. This weekend my basement flooded again. I called a different local company who came this morning and cleared a huge amount of roots that would have taken 3 years, and likely many more, to build up. I don't know what Econo Drain did last year but thankfully I didn't choose the hydro jet option which was over $1,000. Used to be a great company- reliable and honest. Not under the new ownership.

Two technicians came to inspect our drain with a camera and offered a $550 clean-out(including the…read morecamera inspection) or $1,200 hydro jetting. We chose the $550 option. After their equipment got stuck and more technicians had to come out, 4 employees spent nearly 4 hours in our basement and told us the line was free n clear & the job was done. Lie Two weeks later our drain backed up again. When I called, I was told the service wasn't guaranteed and I'd have to pay another $550 for them to return. In a condescending way he told me I should have taken the advice of his technicians and done hydro jetting. On their Facebook page, they post they are hiring technicians with no experience necessary/ will train on the job. So their technicians of high experience are always right? That should have been my first red flag. 2nd Red Flag is we didn't realize they are under new ownership. We were never shown the camera footage they claimed that proved the line was clear. Instead we were told we should have read our receipt that there's no guarantee. I had to hire another company KSK Sewer & Drain Cleaning who removed a extra large amount of tree roots that clearly hadn't been cleared. Kevin was great & very honest. He told me I don't know what Econo did but clearly they didn't clear the sewer line completely. His service is also guaranteed for 8 months. The service, communication and the lack of accountability by Econo Sewer is beyond frustrating. Do not waste your time or money.

He stated I would have it via email in a few days. Heiden was able to get it flowing in order to see the cause. The pipe from the basement to the connection in the street needed replacement. They were able to use an underground process that did not disturb any of the landscaping and fixed the problem. They were both efficient and kind. They cleaned up everything. Not inexpensive, but MMSD has a program for pipe issues that does assist with the cost but you do have to use approved contractors. Heiden happens to be one of those contractors. After using them, I know why they are approved. They helped us in an emergency situation and I would highly recommend them.
