We started off with a new special drink they had with sorbet as well as a strawberry cello martini, and a Jefferson bourbon drink. There was nothing we had that was even close to average. For appetizers, we had the crab cakes, portobello mushrooms, and garlic bread, on top of the complimentary bread and sauce to dip it in. The salads were great as well - caprese, Caesar, spinach, and the Southside salad. The the entrees were the filet, lasagna, fettuccini, Ricotta Gnocchi, and yellow tail fish - all of which were superb! We also had a side of mashed potatoes that were perfect! The bar has a limited menu, that includes tenderloin, salad, grilled cheese, chicken tenders, and poppers. But all you need to know is that they are known for their burgers. So, I ordered a burger with fries. It was prepared fresh and took about 15 minutes to have ready. The fries were good and the burger was juicy, tasty and delicious. It definitely lived up to the hype. Being that it is a bar, they have the full spectrum of adults drinks and also have a wide assortment beer and signature cocktails. For our main we went with the Taco Tray. 10 tacos, 2 of whichever 5 you choose and 3 sides. We chose Carne Azada, Birria, Corner (Chorizo & Potato), BBQ Pork and Ensenada (Fried Chicken) tacos along with the side choices of Re-fried beans, Mexican Rice and Spicy Veggies with Quinoa. The tacos also come with cilantro, onion and tomatillo salsa. All 3 sides were nice to pair with all tacos. It was nice to mix and match all the various toppings on the tacos to find the best flavor. Taco Rankings for us were as follows. 1 Birria (Great Flavor overall) 2 Ensenada (Surprise of the meal but a great one) 3 Azada (Hard to mess up, great baseline) 4 Corner (Dry and Bland alone but with sides and toppings was tasty) 5 BBQ Pork (Pineapple in the meat did not work with anything other than the meat itself.)
