I went to DHD this morning in a frenzy as after downloading the Developer version of Windows 11, I got the black screen of death. The owner, Bayana treated me with kindness and was able to quickly solve my problem at a unreasonably low price. Bayana performed a miracle. 1st - Do not install Windows 11 until it is publicly released. 2nd - Make sure you have a backup of all data. If you are not backing up, please configure to do so immediately on a daily routine basis. 3rd - Go and find the following information to have handy. a) - Your Office 365 email login and password b) - Your Office 365 License Key [very long set of letters/numbers] c) - If your hard disk is encrypted as mine was, find your recovery key very long set of letters/numbers] and document it. For 3 b) and c) I also took pictures of the number set to have on hand. d) - Before installing any new windows updates or versions, make sure to create a Windows Restore Point, just in case something goes wrong. e) - While you are at documenting, ensure you have the license keys for any of the software on your machine. 4th - And this is just me, use a password manager and very strong password. read more
