Desirée is a warm, high-energy realtor with extensive knowledge of the Sacramento area. We were moving on short notice from out of state and needed to find a home quickly. Desirée listened carefully to our needs over the phone, asked lots of questions, and sent us potential listings so she could hear how we analyzed the properties. The following week, she spent 2 intensive days showing us more than a dozen properties in Fair Oaks, Folsom, Granite Bay, Rocklin, Roseville, and Lincoln. By the end of 2 days we were ready to make an offer! At every step, Desirée found answers to our questions and constantly sought out additional information on our behalf. She answered questions we didn't even know we had! We were completely unfamiliar with the area, so it was a gift to work with Desirée. She has thorough knowledge and a deep appreciation for the area, and she provided key insights to help us narrow our search. Everywhere we went, Desirée seemed to know someone and worked seamlessly with other realtors and vendors. She went above and beyond at every step. We could not be happier in our new home in our beautiful new hometown. Desirée's work made this transition smooth and exciting for our family. We cannot recommend her highly enough! read more

Desiree is hands down the best! She is patient and kind, yet incredibly knowledgeable with a strong work ethic. She helped my husband and I buy our first home last Spring, when the market was extremely competitive. Despite it being such a busy season, she took the time to listen to our needs, research special programs at schools, and expertly guide us through the complicated process. To this day, she stops by to check on us, bringing thoughtful gifts such as personalized coasters and Girl Scout cookies! Desiree truly goes above and beyond and we are so very grateful for all she has done for us. read more

We do not typically write reviews. However, if anyone deserves a review for exemplary service it is our real estate agent, Desiree Pointer. We choose Desiree to sell our home in the sierra mountains because of her outgoing, friendly and positive attitude. Our home sold quickly, predominately due to her marketing skills. The escrow, however, was another story. The 30-day closing turned into 50. With multiple challenges, Desiree was indispensable. She anticipated problems and always had our best intresest in mind. Most important, she kept us informed; minimizing the stress. Having sold and purchased multiple homes over the years, we found Desiree to be unique amongst real estate agents. We have never enjoyed the home selling process, but her personality and skill made it bearable. Without question, she is the most honest and professional agent we have had the privilege to work with. She is ALWAYS open and upfront. She ALWAYS responds promptly to calls, texts, and emails. And, you ALWAYS know she has your best interests in mind. We usually have seen the relationship with an agent as a necessary evil. Desiree, on the otherhand, proved it can be a necessary benefit. We are now looking for our next home and we are comforted to know Desiree will be by our side. read more

I've had the pleasure of working with Desiree several times on both the selling and buying side. As a former Real Estate professional myself, I found her to be unique in her approach with all aspects of the process. During the staging and marketing of my home she worked tirelessly to ensure my home was in the best shape to sell quickly. Nothing was was beneath her. You might find her with a broom or dust rag in her hand or on a ladder cleaning the one window you missed. She would enlist friends or family to help with anything before she would spend your money and hire the work out. She will make herself available to show your home whenever the opportunity presents itself even if it means missing one of her children's sporting events. She will answer her phone 99% of the time. When she can't she will return a call to you immediately. I loved that about her!!! On the buying side, she will show you as many homes as it takes in order for you to know when the right one comes along and you are ready to make an offer. If by chance there are multiple offers involved, as was in my case, I was so grateful that Desiree had the knowledge of the market and values so I knew without a doubt I would not be over paying for a property. Sometimes in situations like that, emotions take the place of rational thinking. It's paramount to have an agent who remains calm and clear thinking in all situations. Desiree does! She won't abandoned you after the sale. Most of us know, that is when the real work begins. She will work in concert with the title and escrow company and lender in an effort to meet all contractual contingencies and inspections in order to close escrow on time. She will keep you informed EVERY step of the way. If for some reason there is a hiccup along the way, she will drop everything to get it back on track. Not only is Desiree honest, ethical, fair, diligent, visionary and hardworking she has a great sense of humor. If you are looking for an agent to represent you that has all the qualities to get the job done you should call Desiree Pointer!!! Trust me you will not regret it. To this day, Desiree is still in touch with me. Isn't she the kind of agent you want working for you? read more

Desiree not only helped us buy our home in Lincoln in 2016, but she also helped us sell it three years later after we had to relocate to another state. Never have I worked with a better real estate agent; I wish we could have her help us buy a house wherever we go. She was flexible and worked with our short timeline of a few days when we were buying, and helped us find the perfect home. We were sad to sell, but the process was almost effortless thanks to Desiree. She goes above and beyond to make things go as smoothly as possible for her clients, is incredibly savvy, has great connections, and is willing to do what it takes to make everyone happy. I'm extremely thankful that we put our trust in her and I would do it again in a heartbeat! read more

I am a Realtor in San Francisco and got to know Desiree though our mutual client, Thelma. Desiree has been her family's Realtor for years and when it came time for them to sell a home in San Francisco, she called me up to help. As an agent, I can tell immediately if another agent is on her game...or not. Desiree is professional, attentive and smart. Plus, her clients LOVE her. Our client was buying and selling at the same time so we worked together to create a seamless process. It was great working with Desiree and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell in Placer County! read more

My husband and I used Desiree when we purchased our first home 6 years ago, as well as when we sold that home last Fall and for the purchase of our current home. She is very responsive, personable, and willing to go the extra mile for you. On the selling side, she gave us advice on how to stage the house with our own furniture (even allowing us to borrow her accent pillows for our couch) and got us an offer we accepted within a week. On the buying side, she offered to show us as many houses as we wanted until we found the one. For us, that was many many houses and we found ourselves in several competitive situations. In one situation, offers were being considered in the order received. Due to Desiree's diligence, we submitted the first offer by a matter of minutes before the open house even ended. There were 10 offers and although we rejected that owner's counter offer for much more than asking, I was pleased that Desiree acted quickly and we had the option to move forward on that house. Although that was not the house for us, ultimately, we got a great house in an awesome neighborhood. The home buying and selling process can be very stressful and often times, time is of the essence so it definitely helps to have a realtor who is always available to talk, can show you a house at a moment's notice, and takes action promptly! read more

Desiree and Nichole quickly became family. I decided to sell my house and my mothers then buy one big house. My house sold within a week and my moms didn't even go on the market because Desiree sold it so fast. Both ladies showed nothing but patience, an eagerness to help, and definitely willing to go above and beyond. read more

I could not have asked for a better selling experience with Desiree as our realtor! She was very prepared and knowledgeable, and was so proactive and helpful every step of the way. She made our home sale go incredibly smoothly- much easier than I had expected. Desiree has been the most spectacular real estate agent anyone could possibly ask for! She helped my wife and I as first time home buyers to secure an absolutely amazing deal on a house. She goes way above the call of duty in ensuring client satisfaction. During this tough/awkward time of covid 19, she provided us not only with masks and gloves, but also virtual tours when we were unable to make it up during the week because of our busy work schedule. She is always focused, extremely responsive, attentive to detail, ultra competitive, honest with feedback, and remarkably professional/knowledgable. If you are looking for a house in the sacramento/placer county; look no further, Desiree is the one for you! She will exceed your expectations without a doubt. We have already recommended her to friends/family and would definitely be repeat clients with her in the future! Thank you for all that you have done for us Desiree! You're the best! read more

You can't go wrong with Desiree. We worked with her for a few months in an incredibly tough market for buyers. She helped us through the entire process and everyone we worked with (lenders, home inspectors, etc.) had nothing but great things to say about her. Working with someone that well connected makes the whole process much easier. She took the time to understand our needs and constraints and consistently showed us properties that fit the bill. She was always a strong advocate for us, gave great advice, and was never pushy. In the end we got a fantastic house at a great price, I couldn't be happier and would strongly recommend her! read more

Desiree is amazing!!!! She is always great to work with. She pays attention to the details and negotiates like Wonder Woman for her clients. Why isn't there 6 stars? We have used Desiree twice now for buying and once for selling. She is beyond knowledgeable, and made the process of buying/selling so much more bearable. From starting the house hunt, she was always available to us or found a way to get us in to see homes with short notice. When we found "the one" she guided us through the process each step of the way. She was always accessible via phone, email, text and I probably could have sent smoke signals and she would have replied. She was there to meet the inspectors, offered solutions when problems arose, and quite frankly worked her tail off for us selling our house and buying our current home. I have referred her to my family as well, who have also used her in buying their home. There really is too much good to say about her and her service to put in a review. Desiree is a genuinely good person and excellent Realtor. If you're looking for somebody that will be with you every step of the process, Desiree is your girl! read more

Desiree helped us sold our home in Rocklin. It was nice working with her. She's professional, friendly, and helpful.

Desiree did an amazing job as our Realtor. Desiree helped my family and I shop for our current home. She was very patient and knowledgeable of the market and inventory. We never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision one way or the other. When it came time to write an offer, she helped to guide us through the process one step at time. When the need arose for us to expedite the close of our home, Desiree went above and beyond to get this done for us in record time. I highly recommend working with Desiree as a Realtor. read more

Desiree is great to work with. She always quickly responds to calls, texts, and emails and if she doesn't know an answer will find out for you. She cares about what you think and doesn't try to spin things to her point of view. We worked with Desiree when we bought our home 9 months ago and then again to sell just this past month (work took us out of Cali). She's very professional, but keeps it loose and fun at the same time. If you're looking to buy or sell a home in the Roseville/Rocklin/Lincoln area (Cali), I highly recommend you give her a ring. read more

Desiree is an incredible realtor! We are stationed in Mississippi with the Air Force, and needed help finding and closing on a home in Lincoln for our upcoming move. After our initial phone call with Desiree, she immediately sent us listings to consider, and even included some listings we found in our own search, took videos of a few properties and emailed it to accommodate us being out of state. I was blown away by her helpfulness! We took a quick trip to Lincoln and met with Desiree, who showed us nearly twenty houses in the Lincoln/Rocklin/Roseville area in two days. Desiree was completely prepared in showing us each home, and shared organized information sheets on each home we saw. She is upbeat, helpful, and responds to emails and phone calls very promptly. She clearly values her clients, and always made herself available to answer our questions. We closed on our home quickly (from out of state) and Desiree continues to help us in the meantime as we prepare to move cross country. Desiree Pointer is an excellent realtor, who is dedicated to her clients and especially supportive in working with military families! Thank you Desiree! read more

After attempting to sell our home with another agent, nothing was going right. I found Desiree by chance and set up a meeting with her. After she reviewed the comps in the neighborhood and came and saw our house she let us know that the market didn't support what we needed for the house. I was crushed, but so happy for an honest answer. She said that we would keep an eye on the comps and let me know when we should re-list our house. A few month later she called and said its time to get this started. She wasn't kidding. Within days, she had it staged, amazing photos taken by Heather, and an open house scheduled. It was amazing! That first weekend we had 5 offers on our house in still very difficult market. Desiree is amazing, she worked countless hours making it the very best situation for us. She then helped us find our dream house. Which was not an easy task (I am very picky) She was available by phone, e-mail or text at any given hour which made me feel so much more at ease when all the stress of buying and selling a home. We moved into our house right before the birth of our 3rd baby. You cant go wrong with Desiree, in the beginning she started as our real estate agent, and it ended with a friendship. read more
