Update: The manager has finally decided to refund the price of the border, less a 20% restocking…read morefee. Given this new set of circumstances, I have revised my rating. We are in the process of an $80,000 home office remodel. As part of this remodel, we chose a tin ceiling and border from Brian Greer. The color we chose for both was Antique Brass, and obviously, the ceiling tiles were supposed to match the border tiles. It was clear when the purchase was made that all of the tiles were to be used for the office ceiling. My designer placed the order on 3/22, and the order finally arrived on 5/12. After waiting for almost two months, the tiles aren't even close in color to the border. It's clear that the base color of each are different. In fact there are two stacks of the border in the box and each stack is a different color from the other. The quality control is absolutely not there, and the worst part is that Brian Greer refuses to stand behind his product and give us a refund on the border material. He was very belligerent and refuses to take any corrective action that would make this right. I highly recommend that you not use this company when ordering tin of any sort. The attached photos speak for themselves.

They did an excellent job on the carpet better than I expected however after reading the comments…read morethey did the same thing to me as Claudia. They quoted me 300 and then it turned out to be 745.00 when they arrived. I was very disappointed at the price but was in a hurry and needed to get it done. I think they should quote you the square footage amount that they charge if they do not have someone on-site to do the quote. That way the homeowner will get a more realistic price they can budget for. Thank goodness they did an excellent job!

Two workers showed up to do the job early when we were out (outside of the time window) which disrupted our plans. I rushed home and they quoted us $680!!! I felt very rushed and pushed to just go with their quote since the other guy had started before I even signed the papers! It was way more than we expected and I was disappointed with how much pressure they applied to me. They did not show me evidence of the necessary 'pet treatment' since they did not show me where their blacklight showed spots. When I seemed hesitant they also stated that it would cost me $2500 to replace this carpet. I immediately spoke to a contractor who said absolutely not it would be about $1100 plus tax. I might as well have gotten new carpet! I will never go with this company again. I am very unimpressed at how unprofessional they were. They need to update their policy to provide a true quote before work has started and I should have had time to consider it or say no.

Unlike the previous Yelper, who should have reviewed "Clark's Mobile Homes" at the same location,…read moremy review is actually about Clark's Mini Storage. Clark's Mini Storage is a family-run business; I've always talked to Julie, who has always been helpful and polite. The storage lockers are generous for the price: as of Dec 2020, I pay $150 inclusivefor a 10ft x 10ft outdoor locker with 24hr/ 7 days a week access. The lockers are well designed with a roll-up door, and you can provide your own locks. Being somewhat rural, they do provide pest control, and as long as I've had my locker, I've never had rodent damage. They have also been quick to have snow cleared, usually within 2 days, so everyone still has access during the winter. The only thing that some current customers may have found bothersome is that Clark's has been harder to reach during Covid with their reduced hours. It would be nice if they had some set hours they will be on-location, even if they changed it on their voicemail weekly. However when you do reach them, they are quick to deal with any issue you have to satisfaction. They even offer discounts on long-term storage over 12 months, which can save decent money if you know your storage will be long-haul. You can also ask for reoccurring monthly payments by credit card. If you're looking for outdoor storage, then Clark's is not only a great deal, but you're supporting local business vs the US Franchises.

Five weeks later Chris Clark informs us they need to make a special unit for our Wiarton location and it will take 10 weeks. Their documentation for the building permit was useless. A floor plan and pier diagram, neither stamped by an engineer. It was becoming a nightmare to get a building permit for this US built unit. We found another Canadian made unit in Barrie ready to be delivered with full engineered documentation. (18 pages, all engineer stamped) I informed Chris and asked for a refund around July 22. The incredibly unresponsive Chris became even more unresponsive to phone calls or Emails. This modular home is for my parents to live on the lot next to mine in Wiarton. My dad turns 90 in 4 weeks and they are not in great health. Chris seemed shady from the beginning and I should have gone with my gut. You could tell he was self-centred, arrogant and doing us a favour by letting us talk to him. We want a refund of the $5000 deposit. Seems pretty simple. I'm guessing keeping deposits and disappointing customers is actually a major source of income for them.

I immediately found Jason to be very professional, and it was clear from the very beginning that he takes much pride in his work. The team's attention to detail was consistant from beginning to end, up to and including their commitment to clean up after the job is done. Jason's straight forward communication style makes him a pleasure to deal with. And his hand picked staff reflect his commitment to the job and to the customer. We appreciated his work so much, that we hired him again soon after for another project to add insulation our attic. I would hire Gateway Roofing and Contracting for future projects without a second thought. And I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation!
