In a word, Jojo Design Studio, is FABULOUS!…read more Jo and his staff are always friendly, but also courteous and professional. At first glance, the store may seem small or modest, but when you step inside, you see it is filled with a variety of beautiful wall coverings, mosaic and tile (made from all kinds of material -- stone, ceramic, glass, porcelain, wood, etc.) He even offers a line of linoleum for those looking for more sustainable design options. Jo is a good listener, really tries to meet your needs, and offers helpful advice when asked or required. And let me tell you -- he REALLY knows tile! Prices for the products he offers are very reasonable. And he graciously goes the extra mile to service his customers. What more could one ask for? I happily recommend Jo and his store to anyone looking for these items, coupled with good service. (reviewed by my wife Karen)

I am writing this review to prevent anyone from using this company…read more The owner is arrogant, unreliable, untruthful and horrible at consistent communication. Some of their work was good quality but what wasn't was really bad. We had a project with which they were involved from the inception which turned out to be done with poor, careless workmanship. We have electric shades which do not stay in the tracks and cannot be fixed. Not only are we unhappy with the shades they held the job up for months as their part of it was integral to the completion. The owner's response was a lot of finger pointing and blaming other vendors on the project. Several of their workers were rude and disrespectful. Save yourself a lot of heartache, do not use this company!!!

While we ultimately…read moredecided to go for a fully custom overhaul and did not hire Chelsea for the project, our meeting with her was very productive (When we originally reached out, our project scope was a lot smaller). She shared a lot of smart ideas for dealing with our challenging closet spaces and was both knowledgeable and creative. Chelsea was also very respectful of our home and easy to talk to. We enjoyed our consultation and would definitely consider working with her on future projects that are a better fit. Her prices are a great value. We wish we had met her earlier when we were renovating our home, as it would have saved us many nights spent struggling with the design. In the future we know we could turn to her!

After downsizing a few years ago to a much smaller house closer to the ocean, we worked on major remodeling projects with contractors, architects, and engineers. We were seeking an interior decorator to help us post-construction with the choice of layout, furniture, drapes, decor, and the curating of our global artifact collection without insisting on major structural changes. Chelsea was perfect for this challenge! The major difference was her ability to work with our conservative yet coastal "wannabee" aesthetic and meet our desire to create a multi-purpose room. We had a hodgepodge of furniture and global artifacts from living abroad and traveling and we were very stubborn about giving up on our own ideas. We were very hands on in researching options and that could have been an impediment to any other decorator. We were open to being coached and educated. Chelsea showed us 3D renderings at the beginning of the process to help us visualize her ideas and gave us options regarding colors and price points. The process was iterative and complex for just one long room. We started with a virtual consultation contract which worked well. When we saw how she could make a difference we quickly changed to an in-person contract. What a delightful and patient consultant, Chelsea is! And her professionalism regarding appointments, Zoom calls, input, choices, options, ordering, invoices, and setting boundaries, while remaining attentive, was very appreciated. We could say more, but let me leave these words in closing: we are excited to recommend Chelsea Harrison Designs and look forward to working with her in the future.
