We had a very specific design in mind that we were upfront about from day one and provided Pinterest boards. Even after our initial sessions with Lisa where we were crystal clear about design elements we did not want to see and again reviewed examples of what we wanted. The final design presentation again included elements we did not want and overall looked nothing like this style we wanted. The entire retainer was spent and we had nothing we would use in our new home. All the while time was wasted while Lisa was doing a Before & After video for her benefit. It was obvious she had a design in mind and was not willing to listen what we wanted.

From…read moreswimming pool and backyard design to landscape design and installation to outdoor lighting to outdoor furniture to seawall design and installation to deck and dock design and installation to custom railings to drainage, she is the most knowledgeable, meticulous, honest, and hard working person with whom we have ever worked. It is truly difficult to put into words her amazing abilities as a designer. Kim is remarkably intuitive. She sits down in the space that she is going to be working on. She talks to us. She envisions our future as well as present needs. To put it shortly, she always knows what we want and need more than we do ourselves! She has an uncanny ability to elevate our ideas and wishes, and she has blown us away time and time again. Kim is not just a designer. She basically serves as general contractor for all of the projects that she coordinates. Every crew that Kim has assembled for our various projects has been as meticulous and professional as she is. Though Kim demands perfection, she and her crew truly respect and admire one another's talents and work together seamlessly. My wife and I are looking forward to continued projects with this uniquely skillful, imaginative, and brilliant woman. Kim has truly helped us to absolutely love our home!

I knew she was in high demand, and because my home is 45 minutes away from downtown, I knew it was a long shot. Nevertheless, I contacted her to see if there was a way she could help with my project. We had a delightful conversation, but she explained that to take on a small job at such a great distance, regrettably it was not possible for her small business. In addition, she gave me ideas for other designers in my area. In today's world, it's rare to meet someone so talented and eager to help.

Brooke has always listened to our points of view, even when my husband and I had different ideas, and was able to marry the two without sacrificing quality or style. We have never been shy about using color and texture, and we knew we did not want a boring, cookie cutter house. From start to finish she was part of the design and conceptualization, helping us select a builder and taking us to providers to select materials, lighting, appliances, etc. My favorite thing about working with Brooke and Bee Studios is that because they listen, I don't have to be overwhelmed with design choices. Brooke always brings her A-game to the table, and so many times, when she presented us with her vision, we were able to say YES immediately...without having to get bogged down in a million choices. We have absolute trust in Brooke, so much that there were times we simply told her to make a selection for us, and we are glad we did. As a result, we now have a home that has been featured in publications and continues to astonish with its beauty, sophistication, and character.

In the end you will pay a lot more for mistakes and incompetency. Be very cautious. Get your own vetted people. Could end up costing you much much more than you anticipated.
