It's SO GOOD! I've also had their lunch buffet. It's been a while, but I remember enjoying it and the food being fresh. The employees are polite and super nice. My last order, I felt so bad because I was running late after ordering online and I didn't realize I was cutting into their midday closing hours. The gentleman was waiting right there with my order. I apologized profusely. Be more mindful than I was of their hours.

I made chaat out of pani puri as they had all the chutneys and veg raita as well--it was delicious. The hakka noodles were yummy too! I'm a vegetarian, and in the main course vegetarian options, I really enjoyed the daal tadka and paneer bhurji along with rice and naan. I also love their dum aloo (during A La Carte) --it's always great. The flavors are very authentic and everything tastes fresh and well prepared. There are plenty of vegetarian options, which I really appreciate. The overall spread is quite satisfying and nicely balanced. The place has a good vibe, and the service is friendly and attentive. Overall, the food is always great and never disappoints!

The platter includes three dishes the Samosa Chaat, Dahi Bhalia Chaat, and the Pani Poori. Personally, I wish the Pani Poori came with chutneys instead of the mint water and tamarind water. Because both of the Chaats had chutneys and they were really good. The chutney flavored water didn't have much flavor to it. If you're looking to try something new I would definitely recommend the Chaat Platter. The Gulab Jamun Creme Brulee was delicious. It didn't have much of a Gulab Jamun taste but the custard was good. The serving bowl is pretty shallow so you don't get much but for $7 I'm not upset. There's a couple other desserts that I would like to try next time though. Because of the pricing, if I were to try appetizers and desserts I probably wouldn't get a meal as well. My server was Harika and she was a pleasure! Her and the other staff went over my questions and helped show me pictures so I could know what I was ordering. I certainly appreciated it. Will definitely be back.

I ordered the butter chicken with garlic naan, and wow... the butter chicken was hands down the best I've ever had. I chose the medium spice level, and it was absolutely perfect--just the right amount of heat without overpowering the incredible flavors. It was rich, creamy, and so flavorful. The garlic naan was fresh, soft, and the perfect complement to the meal. Beyond the food, the entire experience was wonderful. The restaurant is beautiful, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and every staff member I interacted with was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I left already looking forward to my next visit because there are so many other dishes on the menu that I can't wait to try. If you're looking for amazing Indian food in the Oviedo area, Tabla is definitely worth a visit. I'll absolutely be back!

What "premium ingredient" or "elevated presentation" made the very common appetizer served to me worth $3-4 per singular cauliflower. Like I said, if you're willing to pay premium prices for mid food, go here. I was excited to try this new spot last weekend. I enjoyed the meal but nothing about the flavor or ingredients stood out. Honestly, the food is just fine. For a restaurant that claims to be fine dining, the food should be special or be done well. They did have a gimmick menu where they put gold leaf on a bunch of dishes (pictured). They even put it in my chai. I could see that doing well on IG and winter park socials. I felt that the prices were very extreme for the portions you got. For example, I got an appetizer of Gobi Manchurian that was about $17. I'm not even kidding, there were FIVE pieces of cauliflower on my dish. The rest of the meals were about the same. The shape of the dishes make the meal appear larger, which feels tricky not design focused. Overall, if you're willing to pay, it's not a bad meal but there are plenty of better Indian restaurants in the area to choose over Jala.

The dosa plate looked exactly like what you would get back home in Udupi, Karnataka, India. I absolutely loved it! They served so many delicious varieties of chutney, which made the meal even more authentic and special. A huge, special thank you to Kalyan and Mrs. Lakshmi for their great service and warm hospitality. They made our visit truly wonderful. We really enjoyed everything and will definitely be back. It's an unassuming restaurant located inside of an Indian grocery store. As soon as you walk in, you know it's not just another Americanised knock-off. The aromas took us back to our trip to Delhi and Madras many years ago. We were served by the owner who, although we knew what we wanted to order, made suggestions and let us know about the ingredients they'd be using. It took a little while for our dishes to come out, letting us know it was all cooked to order. It was well worth the wait, tho. The dishes were a perfect blend of flavours and textures, rivalling anything our California-based daughter had ever had in SFO. The portions and presentation were spot-on. Afterwards. We browsed the grocery store section and were treated by the owner to a short lesson on the variety of rices and their proper preparation. Turns out he's a chef! We left having discovered a new favourite, local gem!
