Imagine my "surprise" when I received three different reports of why my vehicle failed and the list of items needing 'fixed' before that station would pass it. That first year was frustrating, especially when my mechanic would disagree with each one and insist no 'fixes' were needed. Then I found Route 66. I've been here a couple of times and Jorge has been fair with each inspection and has throughly explained each issue in question. So much so, that my mechanics agree with him. Jorge is extremely thorough but quick. I have never waited more than 15minutes from the time I pull in until the time I leave. Patrons aren't allowed in the garage, but there is a covered outdoor bench, so dress appropriately for the weather of the day. He does some very basic car maintenance items as well if you'd like, but I've only had my inspections done here. And I'll be back again next year.

This made me feel like they actually cared about the specifics of my vehicle, not just a sheet of repairs to check off. 2. They were honest. Before I brought my vehicle in, I had called with questions about it first and a quote. As with any mechanic, they need to see the vehicle and run their diagnostic before giving an official quote but I knew a general idea of the repair so I was asking around to see what different mechanics charge for their labor rate per hour. I liked E&R enough to called them back but was given a different hourly rate from the first phone call. Without hesitation, the employee very genuinely and respectively said they would honor the first rate I was quoted. 3. When Eddie called me with the quote after the diagnostic and when I picked my vehicle up, he educated me!! He explained to me and taught me what the problem was and how that happens on different vehicles. He had already earned my trust but this just emphasized more so that he and his employees are trustworthy. Everyone I interacted here was respectful. The quality of work on the vehicle was exceptional. I could tell they were very thorough and tested the vehicle well after they made the repair to ensure it was fixed and there were no more leaks.
