Matt from Desert Towing was super responsive and reassuring, dispatching Tyler who was very experienced and got the camper van onto the flatbed carefully yet expeditiously. Father-in-law did a ride along and had the van towed to Orange County, which Desert Towing was up for the job even though it is 260 miles each way. I called at night in the middle of the desert pitch black between pahrump and Las Vegas. They answered rite away I told them where I was and where I needed to get my vehicle and they sent Terry rite away. 30 minutes later he arrived and he was nice and knew what he was doing. He took care of the vehicle got it loaded and transported to the Mercedes dealer with no issues. Terry was a really good guy and if I ever need a tow again I know who to call. Truly horned to have been rescued and served by this company. The young gentleman was nice enough to stop when I first flagged him down tried to jump car it wouldn't start and he let me know he was busy on another call and I should call his dispatch later if the insurance companies truck wasn't gonna make it to get me. These guys run a tight professional ship truly good people that actually care about the customers they serve and if they say something they mean it they will not have you calling back to see where they are if they say 1 hour they are there and if there's an emergency in the area naturally law enforcement agencies get priority from tow companies and even then I believe they will still give you a curiosity call and let you know instead of leaving you hanging. We were leaving Death Valley at dusk when we got in an accident. Our car was totaled. Although we were in the middle of nowhere and 90 minutes from Puhrump, Terry from Desert Towing came to our aid. He allowed us to ride with him in the tow truck all the way to Puhrump- and was even welcoming of our dog as well. He went above and beyond for us even driving us to a hotel for the night. He was so kind to ensure we were safe for the night (by this time it was close to 10pm) before needing to rent a car in the morning. He was patient with us as we gathered all our overnight luggage before he towed the car to the yard that evening. The next day we rented a car and drove to the tow yard to gather the extra belongings that were in the car and found the staff there very kind as well. Highly recommend this company!! read more

We hit a burro and totaled our car heading towards the California border 5 miles from Beatty, NV on a cold night. In contrast to trying to get help through AAA and the tow companies they contract with, Desert Towing were straight talkers and very prompt considering they were 75 miles away. They were also very reasonable priced considering the distance. They were helpful over the phone and got help coming knowing that was the most important thing, and the tow truck driver (also the owner) was very friendly and reassuring on the scene. He took the 3 of us and our dog to Pahrump in a roomie cab, and did not present us with any additional fees or surprises. I can't say how much we appreciated it. He even stopped the next day to see how we were when he saw us in Pahrump the next day loading up the rental car. Great guy, great company. Wish I could give 6 stars. read more

If I could leave 0 star review I would. Unfortunately last night my husband had to call 4 towing companies around 8:30-8:45pm as my vehicle broke down on the side of the road. Two of them said over 2 hours and one was only through insurance. I tried to use my insurance and we received no notifications as to if someone was coming out, so our last call was to Desert Towing. He said he could get someone out in 30 mins so we agreed, as we were waiting on the side of the road not even 15 mins goes past and there is a tow truck pulling up. We did not realize it was my insurance company and not desert towing. Well fast forward to today we had to get my Jeep towed into Vegas to a dealership. My husband called Desert Towing to see how much it would cost to tow to Vegas and the guy pretty much said we left them hung and dry and proceeded to tell him to take our business elsewhere and our number is on the block list, F**k You, and hung up on us. Very unprofessional as we were willing to pay for him having to wake up his "driver" and pay him to come out to us which in fact no other tow truck even drove past us. I personally would not recommend them if you are in need of a tow. read more

I absolutely loved our service we received our drivers name was Matthew. He was awesome loading our Nissan on to the tow truck our fur baby was in our car he was gentle. My husband has a brain injury and Matthew helped him get out of the tow truck. Our wait time was not long considering the tow truck had to drive 120 miles to where we were, to pick us up. Matthew ask us many time if we were comfortable or if we needed anything. When we got to the car dealership Matthew made sure we had a ride home. Desert Towing Picked up a U-haul customers Jeep and the 6x12 trailer they were pulling when they rolled over their jeep. They picked them up and now are refusing to give the customers their belongings. They want $880.00 from U-haul to receive their trailer back. Because it is a Sunday U-haul doesn't Issue checks for towing on a Sunday. So they are charging U-haul another 35.00 a day for storage. They should know that U-haul is going to pay them for their trailer. They should let the customer have their belongings out of the trailer. This place is about the money not helping people. I would never use this company. read more

For a week plus now I've been trying to get a response on a vehicle auction. I got a no on my bid, but I had to call to find this out. Owner does not seem real keen on calling back to negotiate said vehicle, so I guess a public listed auction isn't really for sale. Based on trying to purchase a few vehicles off the lot, which just makes more room for the business, I'm beyond glad I was not in need of a tow. I'll amend my review if they ever call me back, but it's been over a week and have low expectations. read more

I'm angry, my truck got stolen from my residence on 11/12/22, I filed a police report. On 11/18/22 a Detective called me left a VM. He said "I'm not sure if you know it or not but your SUV was found in Pahrump on 11/15/22 here's their #". First of all, how would I of known it was found nobody ever called me? I've called the detective at least 6x's but he never answers. I called Desert Towing. I explained my truck was stolen and I literally just found out. I asked her if my truck was burnt etc. Her reply is she don't know. I asked how do I get it out of impound? She said I need the title and at that time the fee to get it out was $360. Had I of been notified soon as it was found it would of been affordable to get out. I'm disabled on a fixed income. I asked what are my options because I cannot afford to get it out. She said I'd need to bring down my title and sign it over to them. They'll either sell the truck or scrap it and get the money for it. So I'm being victimized over and over again. My truck was stolen, nobody notified me until the impound was almost $400. I'm angry and upset. I have no money to get it out, I have no money to buy another car. This system isn't right, I need a car to get around I'm disabled yet the detective or desert Towing don't care, it's not them that's car less. So they'll get my title and make money off of my pain and misery. I'm heartbroken and angry! read more

I hope you never have to deal with this business. I called them four times and left meaaages before they answered. They never called me back. I had to find out it is by appointment only. They give you no timeline you just wait for a call. Don't they know people work and need more notice. Their business card has no address on it or say anything about appointments only. Paul and his crew at Desert Towing are awesome.. I have used him a half dozen times in the past couple years and he is professional, responsible, and really knows how to get your vehicle out of the most challenging circumstances. In one instance, after another tow company(requested by the insurance company) showed up and refused to tow my truck (they said that it was "too heavy"). This refusal, after I had waited for over two hours for them to show up. I called Paul and he said "no problem"... and it wasn't - he towed a loaded flat bed F350 over 75 miles to get me home safely. I recommend Paul above EVERYONE else, should you find yourself in need of towing services in Southern Nevada/Death Valley, CA. read more
