Last weekend, when visiting my brother in Palm Springs, I noticed a screw had penetrated the right…read morerear tire of my 2013 Cadillac. Ugh! My tire pressure was down to 12 and dropping quickly. Being we were about to drive back to LA that morning, I needed it taken care of, fast-quick! My brother told me to check a few places near where he lived. One turned out to be closed. The other one was Garcia's tire shop about a mile away. When I got there I was greeted by the owner's son. After giving him a brief explanation of what I needed to be done, he politely told me to pull my car around to the back. Garcia's is not your typical tire garage. In fact, you don't know if it's a tire place when you pull up to the property. There isn't a parking lot. There's just a door with very few markings. But don't let that discourage you or cause you to pre-judge. These guys are awesome! Within minutes of my arrival, the rear of my car was jacked up and the tire was inspected. They immediately found the screw along with some other foreign matter that had been collected over the last three years. They removed the debris and plugged the larger hole left by the screw. After about 20 minutes or so the job was complete. I couldn't have been more pleased with their service and the cost to repair my tire. If I could, I would give them 6 stars! Thanks again for taking care of me so quickly! Scott N

Plus did not put all of my center caps back on the wheels of my vehicle. These caps are $250.00 each !!! One of my lug nuts is also missing ! When I called the store back 15 minutes later; the Manager, Eddie, claimed that they put them all back on and the missing cap must have fallen off as soon as I left their business. This would mean that they did NOT screw them on and tighten them. What sort of safety issues could there be if they cannot perform a simple task with a flat head screwdriver to screw my wheel caps back on??? This is not to mention the RUDE & RACIST behavior toward me that Eddie gave while the staff was installing the new tires. I went in for tires NOT anything under the hood of my vehicle or any sort of bad attitude. Discount Tires has a current Google Ad for "buy two tires, get two free." This was not the case. They only gave me a discount NOT 2 free tires. This is a violation of California Business & Professions Code 17500; AKA False Advertising. This is a misdemeanor offense with up to 6 months in jail as well as fines up to $2,500.00. I JUST got an estimate from my mechanic that totals $632.16 for damages by Discount Tire in Cathedral City, CA today. BUYER BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
