My friend wanted to play Duckpin bowling, but it was $35 an hour for up to 6 people. Lucky we asked the bartender if we could pay for it at the bar and she talked to the bar manager and he said sure! It's only $3 a game per person! Now we're talking! We had 4 people and one game each was perfect for $12. You don't need bowling shoes, there is barely an approach. It was super fun! They had many specials such as street tacos $3, Modelo draft beer $4 and Margaritas $5. We had the Supreme flatbread for $14 and it was good. My Friend ordered the charcuterie board for $24. I really loved the sausage and the display was presented in a giant pretzel. I love the couches for trivia so nice and comfortable! The staff preferred not to have a photo so I respected their wishes. The building is huge with no one In it, which makes me sad! We will definitely be back for trivia and hopefully Duckpin bowling will be $3 a game again! If you're looking for a fun place for the family look no further this is the place for you!!!

We had a couple lanes reserved for us. Plenty of space for seating, eating, etc. Please see all my pictures. I had a few tacos, churros, beer, and ice tea. I left very satisfied. Ambiance - The space is AMAZING, both indoor and outdoor. Huge and plenty of different things to do. Good options to eat or drink, especially with a full bar. See pictures of their menus. Racing, duckpin, mini gold, arcade, eating and drinking, etc. So many options. A great place to host events, corporate meetings, etc. Or just a great day/night for a family outing, date night, etc. Open 7 days a week from 10am or 11am to 10pm or midnight. Plenty of mall parking; they are located in the very back of the mall next to Planet Fitness; so again, plenty of parking. Many promotions, especially daily; see their website. Service - Great. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Many promotions and events; see their website. Price - Today's event was free for me as Chris and SBDC hosted it. But all the prices seem very reasonable for a great and fun day. See my pictures. Student discounts available; see their website. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2008, since 2013 in Reno, and almost a year at this new beautiful location.

Minus a star- because we used to be able to park in the garage area- but now it's for high players and & $20.. Lucked out, and parked in the other lot near the freeway. Shocked that we were able to get free VIP tent tickets- ( rarely visit in the area).. how could I say no.. My youngest wasn't able to attend, so I sacrificed and enjoyed AYCE ribs.. I was set on visiting the other vendors to take some ribs home, but I ate too many-.. Rain stopped and enjoyed the festival ! Looking forward to another year..

The rib cook-off is definitely worth going to at least once, but honestly how many ribs can one eat?? It almost should be called a BBQ sauce smackdown rather than rib cook-off because seems like the sauce is the star nowadays. The ribs itself were ok. It was lacking the smokiness, some were hit or miss, being dry or not fall-off-the-bone tender, or were slathered in so much sweet BBQ sauce that you couldn't even taste the meat. - The juiciest ribs were from Aussom Aussie. - Butch's wasn't what I remembered years ago, not much flavor on the meat but the spicy BBQ sauce was my favorite. - BJ's was a total letdown. The sticky BBQ sauce was too sweet and covered up the too-dry ribs. - Bone Daddy's had a nice sear on the outside and had a bit of a smokiness. - Bison Rib from Montana was huge! But the meat was lean and SO chewy, I looked like a bison chewing on it. The prices now are insane. All samplers are an agreed upon monopolized price of $12 for 3 pork ribs. Every vendor sells the same price. Beef bones average $45-50. The VIP AYCE is so pricey that it's not even worth it. Enticing but who can possibly eat 20 ribs plus sides, beer and ice cream?! The setup is very nice and spaced out. There are trash bins everywhere, so the space is pretty clean. I liked how they have hand washing stations around also. The event is enjoyable only early morning or evenings. During the day is way to hot. Parking wasn't too bad since ppl come and go constantly and by the freeway, it's only a short 2 block walk. Fun event, but I left feeling greasy yet unfulfilled.

This is the first year that I've attended the race and hosted a table with my business as a sponsor. They mentioned the event would go on, rain or shine, but I was really hoping that we wouldn't have to go through the rain part. Unfortunately, it did rain - and pour rain - during most of the event. When I arrived at 5:40 a.m. to set up my table, I was amazed to see people already on site prepping for the day. Every sponsor table was under a makeshift canopy/tent, but my table was still wet from the rain throughout the night. Thankfully, the event organizers were not only delightfully happy to see me, but bent over backward to get me anything I needed. And while they didn't have the foresight to bring towels to wipe the tables down, they did offer me an event shirt to use, which I ended up taking home to commemorate the event, even though one wasn't supposed to come with our sponsor package. As the day wore on toward 7 a.m. and later, more and more people started to arrive and linger around. The sponsor email said to expect ~3,500 people (~4,000 with family and friends), and it looked to be about that many people who showed up. The event organizers planned wonderfully with the city to make sure adequate police and security protection was on sight from set up the day before throughout the night to the next day, so that runners were able to make it through the downtown area to the start line without traffic disturbances, as the procession led down several city blocks to Idlewild park. The finish line was beautifully designed and hosted by Renown Health, and came complete with swag, food, and drink to replenish the runners as they arrived. I'm unsure of how much of the money raised actually goes to the cost of research, as compared to the cost of administration. I know the goal for the event was to raise $200,000, and I think they raised less than $100,000, but Susan Komen's Race for the Cure is a widely known and marketed event that is supposed to bring a lot of people together through fundraising efforts to raise money for research and awareness of the effort to beat cancer. Overall, I'd say this event was a huge success, and I look forward to hopefully running in the next one, in addition to being a repeat sponsor.

In the past the temple would team up with other Thai cultural organizations bringing together song, dance, ritual, culture and traditions together. I love the Thai fashion show, as well as participating in some of the rituals surrounding the new year, but the main reason to come is the food. There are so many beautiful Thai dishes and snacks Wong served. Most of them are not available any where else in town, and only available for that one day! Fresh salads, rich soups and curry, fried snacks, steamed dumplings and more, all $5 per two items! Bring cash and your appetite because you're going to want to load up! Everyone else does too, buying up large bags to go. Get there early! This year we tried a cold pickled bamboo salad, cold noodle with chicken curry and marinated deep fried chicken! Don't miss the Thai sausage or the noodle soup either! Great. Now I'm starving!

The kids loved the photo booth where they could dress up and of course the games. A suggestion for the future would be a small speech about Thai new year or maybe a booth or table set up talking about any traditions. The traditional tai dance was very beautiful. We enjoyed it! We would certainly attend again next year!

Any family member with a team or a kid on a team means that refs will definitely be picking sides during games. Not just that but sometimes the refs are husbands, or kids that are part of the family. If you ever have a problem with any of it you're welcome to complain to the board which consists of the family also so good luck with that. Usually if you fight in a game you're not allowed to play and are suspended but if you're family rules don't apply to you! As for the fields they're always in terrible conditions because they do tend to have bailes, events, parties, anything really the night before games which leaves them little time for a quick clean up which really doesn't do much. Just a heads up NEVER expect a refund for ANYTHING from these guys.
