    Huge chicken fried steak.

We came back a year later for breakfast and it was great. Can't beat the people or food.

Everything was great here! We stayed at the (pet friendly) hotel while driving by and wanted to get breakfast before getting on the road again, it definitely did not disappoint. My omelette was huge and delicious. I had leftover for later that night. Rib eye was big too and that biscuit was to die for. Also want to point out that our server Maria was excellent. Other servers passing by were also great, serving coffee refills as soon as the cup was half empty. The table we sat at was clean, plenty of sauces (hot sauces, mayo, mustard, ketchup, etc) and the decor was pretty cool too. We will definitely be back here if we're ever driving by and hungry. For a restaurant inside a hotel they totally impressed me with the breakfast. They serve dinner/lunch all day too.

Best corn chowder and chicken quesadillas for dinner. Both made with lots of love. Very flavorful! I also let my husband tastes soup and entree. He agreed with me 100%. Reminded me of homemade relatives' home style cooking. Server answered all of our menu questions and provided superb customer service. Best to make reservations in advance. They don't open late. Observe mountain time.

Sooo, visited here for the night as we traveled through. Unfortunately it was a Saturday night and reservations were needed for the higher end restaurant choice in the casino. The staff was friendly, but to be honest, the food is cafeteria grade. I returned the daily special of beef tips on pasta. The pasta was overcooked and the gravy had chunks of unincorporated broth paste, (seen on side of my plate). The waitress gracefully took away the plate and I replaced it with a chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla was just so so, no flavor and nothing to dip it in to add flavor. If I need to revisit the casino in the future, I will be sure to get my name on the reservation list for the other place.

    Reuben sandwich with fries

3.5 stars Stopped here for the food (used a promotion we had) while road tripping and that was that. It was a little crowded and we had to wait a bit for the server to come grab our orders but it was a normal wait time from there on out to get our food. The gal filling up water glasses was the best water filler I've ever seen in a restaurant, almost to the point of too extreme but I'd much rather have a constantly topped glass than be parched, thank you very much. What I got: Classic Reuben sandwich - 5 stars for the sandwich. The bread that was touching the plate did get a little damp from being so hot, but I just flipped one side over before hand and that helped keeping from getting soggy. The pickle was not good and I was bummed by that. Fries - 3 stars. Nothing special. Our table didn't have ketchup but we were able to borrow a bottle from a nearby table. Carrot Cake - 3 stars. It was just average. Nothing special and I didn't feel bad leaving leftovers.

The staff and service was great. We were seated quickly. The Hubbs ordered ribs and I had the prime rib dip. Our starters were good. The Hubbs had the clam chowder- lots of clams and potatoes. My salad was good. They cooked the fries perfectly, and my sandwich was fairly good, but the bread was just okay. If I'm taking carbs, I prefer them to be worth the calories. My husband was a little disappointed in the ribs - the flavor was okay, but it's the cheap cut of ribs so you have all the little bones and cartilage to work around. But a generous portion of meat. So, not bad, but not great.

    The outdated decor mentioned.

This place is nestled inside Cactus Pete's, and it feels like this place was overlooked, even forgotten. It's BEGGING for an update. The decor is HORRENDOUS, but should attract time travlers yearning for those 70's glory days. The staff is... competent... for the most part. One gets the feeling that most who work here aren't "just happy to be here", as they have an "I don't really want to be here vibe" As for the food... think of a mix of IHOP, Denny's and Applebees, and you got your target audience. However, I actually thought the food quality was pretty good. Walked in hungry, left full and happy. Overall, pretty good food, horrible decor.

This place worked when we needed a bite before retiring for the night. The waitresses were wonderful. We had Aurora and she was very sweet to us! Thanks for service with a smile. I ordered the Monte Christo. It was BIG and so tasty. Served with a big cup of raspberry jam for dipping. I picked the side of fruit, and it was cute. Cantaloupe, Honey Dew & a few Blueberries. The mimosa was served very nicely with the champagne bottle. I love that touch! We also ordered the chimichanga. It was good, the beans and rice were yummy. I wish there was just a little more enchilada sauce, but the shredded beef was great. We would def. utilize this little restaurant again. :) Thank you!

    French dip

Even if you don't eat here stop by to see the extensive cactus spine collection. It's pretty cool. I had the club my husband had the French dip. Both were very good but we should have shared they were good size portions. They had an hour wait and were supposed to close at 10pm but they were staying open until they were able to serve everyone on the waiting list.

The new menu is limited. Food is good for a coffee shop, but not as good as it used to be. Edible, but not special.

Once you tackle…read moreNV (and say hello to Jackpot NV), you're in ID and not long after is Rogerson ID, home of a super cute saloon style diner with great food called Buster's. While they're known for their finger steaks (google it), we elected to order a few other items and while my wife got a super good sandwich, I got a chili burger and it was exactly what I hoped for. The chili was great, it was a large burger patty and all in all, with the additional "Sidewinder" fries, was a great filling meal after driving and driving and driving and well, driving. For those that look at the photo and wonder just how bad for me that delicious chili burger was, may I just note in my defense that Buster's have a BLT with a full pound of bacon (!!) on the menu. While it was absolutely calling my name, I'd like to think that getting the chili burger was my twisted mind rationalizing that it was healthy...(by comparison at least). Great food, warm and friendly service--saved to bookmarks!

for Location/Ambiance . for Food/Drink…read more Love the rustic cabin vibes overlooking the Snake River. Great view and ambience overall. Wasn't as impressed with the food and drink - here's my take but I always say go taste for yourself as we all have different perspectives. Fried Calamari - soft and battery. I prefer it cooked to perfect crispiness. I also like an option of both marinara and garlic aioli sauce for contrast. Ahi Tacos - thick flavorful pieces of Ahi Tuna cooked perfectly with delicious crumbled cheese on top. By the time I got to the third one the tortilla just fell apart and had to eat with a fork. Super juicy. Bloody Mary - Took way to long to make and got it mid dinner when we ordered it first. Had to cook the bacon and shimp they said so just note that time delay when ordering. Presentation was stunning with the umbrella of peperoncino and three olives attached, two curled pieces of bacon and two shrimp prawns hanging on the rim of the glass. Spicy which I love and had good flavor. I could only drink half because of how salty it was - maybe due to the bacon in it. Apple Cobbler: Absolutely topped off the experience. Warm apples with a nice soft pastry crust and cold vanilla ice cream for the contrast. We got the caramel sauce on the side and just drizzled it on to our taste. Service: Server was very nice to us overall. Somewhat knowledgeable on the menu - sort of. Seemed like we were being rushed though even though there were still plenty of seats available. She was asking if I wanted a dessert when I literally had half a taco in my mouth lol. Would we go again...possibly just to give something else a try at some point.

Hard for me to believe so I ordered a steak sandwich to try it... ugh! Just NO. Tough meat, not foot flavors and overpriced. I don't know what makes these type of places think they can charge what they do and serve junk. Only plus side was the view, I guess.
