As a resident of the mediterra apartment homes in La Quinta for nearly 2 years, I would highly…read morerecommend this beautiful complex. The value is terrific for what you are getting. This is the closest you will get to owning your own place, and it really feels like a "home". The rent price is a great value when compared to other similar apartment complexes near by. The amenities really are great. The gym is fantastic and has everything you need for a good workout, including multiple Peleton bikes, treadmills, free weights and cables. There are 2 pool areas and both are well kept. We have friends over often and always show off the main pool area and get cozy with the private cabanas and grills provided. It's very scenic with the palm tree collection and mountainous backdrop and makes for great photos. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the maintenance service is has a modern touch, as all requests are submitted directly from their website. Never a hastle, the front desk does a great job giving a courtesy call prior to the Maintenice guys coming and once here, they are very professional, well mannered and knowledgeable. This is a big one for me, as my last apartment the Maintenice was AlWAYS a drag! Special shout out to Antonio for always going above and beyond to provide great service. He goes out of his way to make sure everything is taken care of and then some. With staff like Antonio on property, this place is a dream rental. Vlad

A faulty, non-code-compliant water-heater installation led to mold / water damage, forcing our family to live elsewhere for over two weeks. The City of La Quinta issued a Cease-and-Desist / Stop Work Order, yet management still charges full rent and utilities while part of our home remains sealed off under a mold-containment tent. We've received no lab results or proof that our unit is habitable, and communication from management has been nearly nonexistent. This is unacceptable and unsafe for any paying tenant. We are reserving all rights under California Civil Code § 1941.1 and § 1942, which require landlords to keep units habitable and give tenants remedies when they do not. The facility is not only beautiful but it was also the best care my mom had received in any assisted living she has been placed in over the years. Linda who is the manager of the facility and her staff are the most caring, kind and attentive care providers I've come across. Seth, the owner, has a heart of gold and you can tell this has been a heart mission for him. He is so involved with all residents and ensuring that their needs are met. The level of care and love from everyone is a reflection of the top down model exemplified by Seth and Linda. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity and the time my mom had at this wonderful facility. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring and all that you all do.

The staff is truly amazing, the grounds are well kept, the apartments are cozy, quiet, and safe. The only remote thing I'm nervous about are the cicadas that like the tree outside our place and that's not even something they can control so BOOM 5 stars alllllll the way for Palos Verdes Villas (try saying that name three times fast). A special thank you for the attentiveness of the amazing Ellen for everything she does for this complex. BEYOND blessed to have someone like you that truly cares!

Not to mention the noisy neighbours! Sleeping at 10 PM with your upstairs neighbour blasting music is the greatest botique apartment experice you can ever have if not that then its the loud neighbours having a scream match! Dont bother complaining to the management either, you'll be lucky to catch them in the office 2 out of the 5 days a week within the 2-3 hours that they show up. The management is super neglectful. You will reach out multiple for valid reasons to complain, just to get met with no answer and no resolution to the issue. It took multiple attempts of outreach for them to even "address" the issue just for then to follow up with nothing. Whats worse is that they claim they "read" your messages but dont bother to respond unless you follow up. Also when I previously brought up complaints the manangement said this and I quote "Well the maintanence man has said you make noise to", like really? Extremely unprofessional. If I could rate this place 0 I would.

I would never recommend Ariana after the previous leasing manager left. In my direct experience…read moreKrista Farley was the worst leasing manager I ever had. The place became dirty and unkept. There was even a pillow under the stairs for weeks where a homeless man had been living she had no idea of until I brought it up. Work orders took forever. She didn't live there and was part time. In a smoke free community she did nothing about kids smoking weed because "she hasn't seen them do it". There were always cigarette buds and empty bottles by the front gate. The worst was, she had a third company powering washing that ruined my patio furniture. I was never told or aware they'd be on my 2nd story patio right outside my window while I was sleeping in my room. I brought this to her attention and she said that she could reimburse me like 200 dollars. She never did that. A few days later I got a letter on a Friday right before she left for the weekend from her saying that I was unable to renew my lease / notice to vacate within 60 days. I had never so much as had an argument with a neighbor in four years. In fact I'd usually look after their apts or pets when they were gone. I was medically not able to move at the time due to things that occurred in and out of the military and had to worry about being displaced. Her reason for kicking me out was, "well you seemed unhappy here". I sat on things for weeks before ever bringing things to her attention. I have the audio in public of her admitting frankly, and a few conversations, that she did it because she thought I was giving her a hard time. When I did move out months later I gave her my forwarding address and was told I didn't have to pay anything on the way out, the unit was ok and that legally because of how long I'd lived there and how often they have to replace certain things I was good. Mv parents had to pay out of pocket on the final walk through and then she sent a bill in my name for 80 something dollars to collections affecting my credit. When I called she said that she tried to contact me. She never did. No missed call, no voicemail, no letter in the mail. During my stay there she would say to multiple people that she tried contacting them, that she sent a voicemail but she never did. This isn't the early 2000's where calls and voicemails just get lost. At times she was petty and spiteful. She was never kind and had distant business like rapport with the people living there. If she is still working there I wouldn't recommend living there. She doesn't have your best interests in mind. There also multiple people that left the community after years, like me, because of her. I am generally kind, never post reviews, and understand that every job has easy and challenging parts but this was more than anything should have to deal with.

One year later, and I'm still so happy to call The Vineyards home!…read more I left a review when I first moved in last summer, and now that I've lived here for a year and renewed my lease, I wanted to share an update. I honestly love living here. This apartment has become my little sanctuary. I feel safe, comfortable, and at home here, and that peace of mind means more than I can explain. The Debra & Elizabeth in the leasing office have been wonderful from the beginning, including throughout my renewal. Even a quick conversation when I run into someone reminds me how kind and welcoming they are. Those everyday interactions make a difference. Our maintenance team deserves special recognition, too. They're amazing, and I really appreciate that it's been the same familiar faces since I moved in. There's a lot of comfort in knowing the people coming into your home. The space is another huge plus. My two-bedroom, two-bath apartment is approximately 1,300 square feet, and I absolutely love how roomy it is. I appreciate the gated community and the neighbors who help make it feel like home. Yes, there's dust--but that should be obvious! For me, that doesn't take away from everything I love about living here. A year later, I'm just as grateful to be here as I was when I got my keys. Thank you to the leasing office and maintenance team for making this such a wonderful place to live. You deserve the recognition!

They say…read moreall the right things to convince you this is a great place to live--but once you move in, you're on your own. All they care about is filling units and have ZERO concern about your safety or condition of the apartment. God forbid you have any issues. The so called 'Management' turns a blind eye and a deaf ear. They don't even have the decency to return a phone call. Do yourself a favor and don't consider this place as a place you'd call home. It's definitely not luxury living or anything remotely similar. There's a reason they're rated a 3--They don't even deserve that.

An Amazing Experience!…read more I can't express enough how thankful I am for Lori and the entire staff at Segovia. I recently needed to transition my 91 year old mother from her own home to assisted living. I researched many locations and visited a couple of them and none of them hold a candle to the quality and care of the Segovia staff. Lori from Marketing made the process incredibly easy and treated my mom with such care and compassion. They helped me get really nice rental furniture quickly from a trusted vendor and made the move in process seamless. The building facilities are top notch and beautifully decorated. I have now had multiple meals with my mom at Segovia and the food quality is amazing and the service is excellent. The staff has made us feel very welcome in such a short time. In my mom's first week, she has already started making friends and participating in the multiple activities in the development and offsite. If you are looking for the best in assisted living in the Coachella Valley, Segovia is the place!

From the first interaction with Lori Torres until this day, she was a great help for us and our decision. Lori took time to answer every question we had. So very happy we found SEGOVIA and mom can now call it her home.
