Front 9 is wonderful, but the back 9 seems to be lacking the same care and attention. Fairly priced and friendly staff!

This may be one of the best meals ever! Started with the ceviche, then calamari and for a main…read morecourse, a grouper. All was excellent! We have had not so good experiences with calamari..chewy, overcooked. There's was tender and perf. Grouper came with rice, charred tomatoes and a charred corn that was incredibly. Christian who served was impeccable...the chef, Michon..you just have to experience to understand how incredible the food and his attention to detail..so good!

We have been really enjoying eating at Rainmakers! Tonight we had the special appetizer Thai…read morelettuce wraps, the bang-bang shrimp, the special Brisket, the ribeye and the special dessert brownie and a blondie. The brisket is perfectly cooked and so tender! It comes w a potato latke which is delicious. The steak was ordered medium and it was fantastic, tender and flavorful. The sides we ordered were the scalloped potatoes and sautéed mushrooms - loved the potatoes but the mushrooms were not my fave. The Thai lettuce wraps were amazing!! Bang-bang shrimp are spicy but so yummy! The desserts are decadent and warm! We had one of each because we like both but did not want them combined. The brownie is a dark chocolate and goes well w the vanilla gelato; the blondie is buttery gooey goodness w cinnamon and also pairs well w the vanilla gelato. Our server tonight was friendly and thoughtful, always filling up our tea and checking on us at the best times. The sunset out the windows was beautiful and the restaurant is lovely inside and out. On May 9th we tried the wagyu short rib and shrimp pasta w pork lettuce wraps and the cobbler for dessert. All I can say is it was all wonderful and I really hope Chef does the beef rib again!!! We had brunch again the first Sunday of May and it was just as good as the last time!!

I'm going to give them 3 stars but only because I think other places are worse and better…read more Sonoma ranch advertises country club style membership but the course is questionably crazy. The set up is rolling hills and too many traps. Shooting an eagle followed by a shot that caused amateur golfers to cringe in terror is beyond making sense. What on earth were they thinking sticking a 6 foot rolling hill in front of a lake on the 18th hole. How us anyone supposed to make that shot when you can't see the flag. Carts are something else nice she clean but so behind technology it makes you want to cry. Even university has tv screens and tracking for other carts. How are you going to advertise country club with no technology when the technology is better at the school run course ?????? Pro shop is a vast disappointment. There are about 30 items in it well over priced. No head covers, accessories, and very limited selection. Grill in the clubhouse is sad and I will review it separate. Beautiful to look at but not easy to play.

Went to hit a bucket of range balls today at Sonoma Ranch and it was a disappointing experience…read more Went in the golf shop to purchase a medium bucket, anywhere else it would have been considered a small or even an extra small bucket. They charged $10 dollars for the bucket, even the balls were substandard, old and beat up. The condition of the range was deplorable, tall grass and weeds prevalent, not mowed grass. I suggest you do not waste your time and Money at this place!!
