Well a month ago my AC went out again. The owner handled business badly by never sending me a proposal for work that I have to get approved by my company. This method he has done 12 times prior. He had his staff "fix" it and billed me 2 weeks later. When I addressedkoi this to him he admitted he made a mistake and said he was willing to work with my company. When I addressed this to my company they wanted to renegotiate so I called him and he told me to rip up the bill and proceeded to complain about people not paying him when we were willing to talk about it. That's when our business with him ended. Well now I have new AC company looking at my AC and they sent me pics of the shoddy weld job they did, the brand new compressor I bought off of them is missing the cap. In fact they covered it with duct tape. The connectors on the compressor were loose, and when the new guy went up there wires were unplugged to my compressor and capacitor to my fan motor. I am convinced they went up there and sabotaged it. Why would wires be disconnected? Also supposedly the last thing they did to my AC is weld up a hole and the guy today said the hole he had to weld up was huge. I wouldnt recommend this business to my worst enemy. They are horrible and they price gouge like no other. Please take my advice, do not do business with this company.

I can't recommend any company and service provider more than Denis from Aries Heating and cooling…read more He always makes himself available and does an incredible job. The customer service provided is second to none. The first time he worked for us was back in the summer of 2021. My A/C broke on a typical hot Phoenix summer day. The handyman who usually fixes stuff around my house doesn't do HVAC, so he recommended Denis. My wife called him and he happened to be on a call not far from our house, so he stopped by in between jobs. He identified the issue and had the part on his truck. My A/C was back working just a few hours after we first realized it went out. We then had him do an inspection once or twice after that. But as we realized just how old our unit was, we then just started preparing for the inevitability that it was going to die soon. Surprisingly, it actually lasted until a couple weeks ago. Five years after that first repair, the unit went out again on another hot Phoenix summer day. So we called Denis again. He called back a couple hours later, and was at our home that evening (we had called a few other companies in between and could only get someone else to come out the next day at best). Denis was able to fix the problem, but did talk to us about getting a new unit soon. It was 16 years old and certainly on its last leg. Within in a few days we were on the list to get a new one. Denis warned us it could be 4 to 6 weeks before it arrived. It was here and installed in just 2! And even better, he was kind enough to lend us a small portable A/C for one of our bedrooms so we could stay in the house during the install and not have to get a hotel and/or board our dogs. If you need any HVAC work, call Aries.

We were especially grateful for them last month when our AC went out over a summer weekend while we were out of the country. My elderly mother was staying at our house to pet-sit and was understandably worried, but Clear Air responded in just a couple of hours. It turned out to just be a thermostat issue, but their rapid response in the heat of the summer gave my mom total peace of mind. Highly recommend!

I am surprised at the amount of great reviews for this company. My experience was the complete…read moreopposite. I called Cool Zone because they were authorized to perform warranty repairs on my ac system. The tech found that the compressor had failed and needed to be replaced. He confirmed the unit was still under a parts warranty so my cost would be the labor and new freon that was recommended. He quoted $3,300 for 4 hours of labor! Then said if i purchased a maintenance plan that covered 2 visits for both of my units it would be cheaper at just under $3,100. What? That doesn't make sense. You Buy a service plan and pay less ?!! I expect that the "maintenance" is not intended to take care of the units but to give them 2 more opportunities to overcharge for additional services. I was told they would check availability of the compressor and his office would call me the next day. I was charged a $89 diagnostic fee. I told him his office told me the fee would be waived for repairs over $300. It was obvious to me that he had no intention of sharing this policy with me and said he would discount the repair bill after the work was done. I heard nothing more from them. It has been 2 days. After looking into his price I was told by 2 different companies that the quote was at the high end of the range for a unit that was NOT under warranty. I did not share this quote with either of these companies until after they priced the repair. Both told me the same thing and both quotes were competitive. A different factory authorized business is repairing the unit including line set cleaning and new refrigerant for $1,800. This is a predatory business overcharging people that are stuck in the AZ heat with a broken ac unit. They say a sucker is born every minute. Dont be a sucker! Stay away.

This review is factual and reflect what happened. Last July…read moreI left a 5 stars review after Lee Collin installed a new blower motor. However, I realized that manual FAN ON did not work, neither the fan delay was not working. I contacted Lee Collin to verified installation of the blower motor. They send another technician. The senior one. This technician diagnosed that a fan relay was not working and possibly a timer delay relay could also be faulty. I received an estimate for this new repair for $270. I had no reason not to trust them so I changed both relay, although after replacing both relay the system did not work. I was surprised so I requested further investigation with another outside technician and it was revealed that relay were not at fault but that the first installer had not positon the white wire from the blower motor to the proper prong on the contactor, after moving the white wire to the opposite side of the contactor the fan system started to operate normally. I am a bit disappointed that 2 technician of Lee Collin could not find and rectified the problem. I understand that error do occurred but when you are paying per hour labor and expensive parts it is not want customers want. Respectfully.
