From the moment we walked in, we were greeted so warmly it felt less like a medical appointment and more like visiting people who genuinely care about you. The office is welcoming and the parking was surprisingly easy, which is always a win in Los Angeles. The reception team is incredibly kind and organized, and the hygienist was outstanding, so knowledgeable, patient, and gentle while explaining everything clearly. Then there's Dr. Thompson himself, he is calm, thoughtful, and down-to-earth. He has such a gentle touch and a reassuring way of communicating that instantly puts you at ease. Both my husband and my daughter agreed this was the most comfortable we've ever felt at a dental appointment and that's saying a lot because we normally dread going to the dentist. His office is bit of a drive for us, but we have cars and don't go to the dentist every day, so it's absolutely worth it. Going to the dentist isn't exactly most people's idea of fun, but this office completely changed my perspective! From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable. The music in the waiting area was so good it almost made me forget I was at the dentist shoutout to Jasmine at the front desk, who was not only friendly and personable but even let me know the name of one of the songs playing. Courtney, my hygienist, was absolutely fantastic. She explained everything clearly and patiently, earning my trust right away. I cracked a tooth and was in excruciating pain. I called Dr Thompson's office early morning and they fit me in 30 minutes after my call. I love when a plan comes together. Anyway, after X-rays and some exploring, a Root Canal was evident. Dr Thompson did a fantastic job on my 1st Root Canal and I was glad to be in his chair for the 2nd one. I've been going to Dr. Thompson for over 11yrs, primarily because he is hands down the best dentist in LA. I travel 1.5hrs to get to his office in crazy LA traffic, even still it is worth the trip! Not only is his office always clean and bright, his staff is very nice and accommodating. Awful Dentist. Went in for whitening and Bonding. Clearly doesn't know what he's doing, left me with bleeding gums and put the wrong color on my front teeth. I should've known he didn't know what he was doing when he didn't color match me. Completely botched me, I now have to spend thousands on Veneers. When I went in for something else. The staff is so amazing, the dental hygienist (Samantha is a dream!) is firm but kind in her work and the doc is incredibly personable, caring and smart. I love, love, LOVE the new office!!! I had to bring my son in and I am pleasantly surprised with the ease of finding parking at this new location! The building is nice with elevators that don't have a long wait. This is my second time here, and finding street parking was effortless! This matters in busy LA! The office is immaculate with comfortable furniture and pristine equipment that is clearly the latest technology. I am beyond impressed with how quickly I was able to make an appointment. My experience was amazing! I went in because I was having severe pain due to my wisdom tooth, the receptionist is so sweet, she was able to give me an appointment at 3 the same day but later I was offered to go in earlier which I really appreciated. I went in and everyone was so nice. I was treated right away starting with x-rays. The assistant, Maria offered to play music, and the dentist was very helpful in providing me with an explanation as to why it was hurting so much. Thank you for making my wisdom tooth removal a good experience, it didn't hurt and now my recovery has been pretty smooth! I don't write yelp reviews, but I was in so much pain and they were able to treat me on the same day so thank you Dionne, I would totally recommend this location! :) read more

From the initial point of contact, I was impressed. As many of us know , the dentist isn't everyone's favorite place to visit. Atleast for me it isn't. I had did my best to avoid going all of 2019. That was a success, however, realizing that I needed work done, I had prayed that sent me a better dentist and dental environment than the one I was used to. A friend of mine actually referred me, and the fact that they reached out first to set my cleaning and initial appointment up made me feel comfortable and cared for. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was pleasant. They made sure that I was informed on everything and my appointment was set. Upon arrival, I was even more impressed with the ambiance. I loved the lobby area decor. And I was glad to see that it smelled very pleasant. Deon greeted me and made me feel extremely comfortable and Samantha put me at ease as she deep cleaned my teeth. Though it did hurt, she informed me of how to take better care of my teeth so that the next time wouldn't be as painful. I am so crazy that I scheduled an appointment the following day to get my wisdom tooth pulled. lol. I know. Crazy! Dr.Thompson is great at what he does. The technology at the office is updated and I love that they give you an option to listen to music with headphones, while you get your service done. Sorry so long but I gotta tell it all lol. A good friend of mines had been going to this dentist for years. She would always talk about how great of an experience it was getting her mouth back in shape. My mouth is in bad shape, for many reasons. But my last dentist, his work never lasted. Anything he patched up, would break again. His comments also made me feel horrible so I stopped going all together. I didn't know where to turn. I tried another friends dentist and felt weird that he was an Asian man playing Ice Cubes No Vaseline with all the curse words while working on my mouth. So I finally called Dr. Thompsons office, made my appt and even that was a pleasant experience. Dionne at the front desk...She is everything. Shes so kind and sweet. The entire staff is like none other. They want to make sure you are comfortable. My first consultation, I was nervous and embarrassed. Dr. Thompson came in and basically told me don't worry. He was gonna get me together. He is professional yet has a great sense of humor. I believe the young woman that was assisting that day was Angel. She was pretty funny. She had me cracking up. I went for my appt yesterday...very nervous. I had a few teeth pulled but my concern was the shots...I cant stand them. My stomach was turning all day just thinking about it but guess what? I could barely feel any of the shots. Ive never experienced that before. The topical for where the needle enters worked. Dana is pretty awesome as well. And I believe her name is Chree( spelled wrong im sure) was very sweet. She would rub my shoulder from time to time, always asking if I was ok. The staff was like a big family. I love it. You know I must love it being I live nowhere near the place. It took me 2 hours to get home thru traffic but I would do it all over again.
