I have…read morehad one in the past and I was so nervous about going in to my second, but Novi Endodontics was such a great experience. Dr. Rybicki and his team were fast, informative and just so nice throughout my stay, and I was in and out within 45 minutes! The worst part, for me, of any dental procedure is the pain you feel when the Novocaine hits your gums, and honestly I didn't feel a thing. I had mentioned that I had a little anxiety going into the procedure and I was very reassured that everyone wanted to make sure I felt comfortable, that was very nice. I even love how when I was sitting in the chair I had a nice view of the outdoors with a nice big window in front of me, very relaxing! I came in a couple days after Christmas, so the office was definitely buzzing with phone calls with people trying to get in what they needed to before the new year starts. Due to a failed root canal and going everywhere to find help, my husband came up this office and Dr. Katelynn who put him on the right path and he finally got help. He hates the dentist as much as me so when he raved about this one I had to listen. I have severe dental phobia!! I feel like so many people do. So it felt great to meet a dentist who was caring, compassionate and sensitive to that. She was reassuring and talked to me throughout, after asking if that is what I wanted her to do. I was so nervous and her demeanor really helped to make me comfortable. She is very knowledgeable, professional and great at explaining why and how things work in your mouth. I ask a lot of questions. The staff is friendly and the office waiting room is like walking into a mountain cabin. Just wish the fireplace actually worked. I feel the only downside I can mention, for those who may have read previous reviews of mine. Is that this office is now owned by Redwood dental. However, from our interactions here, Redwood doesn't seem to have as large of a presence in this office thankfully. My husband was assured of that when he first came in after having a Redwood dentist mess up his root canal. Which is why I decided to give it a try. The Drs here have been here forever and know what they're doing and actually care about their patients. If you are looking for a great dentist I would highly suggest Dr. Katelynn. When I called to confirm my insurance was on file, I was told they don't take my insurance and had been sending the bill to the wrong address when I had given my new address and asked them to update when I was in. He was rushed for time, but answered my questions thoroughly. He also took care to make sure my fillings were done right and made sure my bite was good. The office itself is clean, nicely lit, and noticeably lacks that signature "hospital" smell, which I love. There is a Keurig and they offer tea, coffee, and water. They also have kids toy's and magazines available. Office staff are very helpful and friendly as well. They got me booked for a same day emergency appointment, and I was even offered an earlier time when they had a cancellation. Overall I had a great experience and would absolutely recommend this office to anyone with anxiety or a full blown dental phobia like me!

Was given a single triazolam when I arrived for my IV sedation appointmen. It did absolutely…read morenothing for me. I was so terrified that I was unable to participate in my appointment. There was no attempt to provide me with more appropriate sedation so that I could proceed, other than nitrous oxide, which was ineffective. Dentist gave up and said something about maybe I needed an appointment with the nurse anesthetist. Left traumatized and without the planned work done. Never was contacted about the nurse anesthetist. Finally had to request a refund for the $800 deposit I had put down. At least they refunded all but the cost of the x-rays and exam. Horrible experience made worse by thinking that because this office specializes in sedation dentistry for patients with dental anxiety, they would work with me to provide adequate anxiety relief so that I could complete my appointment. One size does not fit all when it comes to dental anxiety. Took me six years to attempt to get dental care again after being drilled on without an effective local anesthetic. No idea how long it will take me to work up the courage to try another sedation dentist after this experience.
