Since we knew we were running a little behind, we called ahead and asked if they could wait just five more minutes, and we were led to believe that wouldn't be a problem. We made it there with only minutes to spare, but instead of being greeted or even spoken to, the employees looked directly at us, refused to open the door, and simply walked away. We waited outside, hoping someone would at least come explain the situation or apologize, but instead two employees walked out, got into their car, and drove away without saying a single word or acknowledging us. After making a five-hour trip, this was beyond disappointing. What hurt the most wasn't that they were closing--it was the complete lack of communication, professionalism, basic courtesy, and respect. A simple conversation or apology would have gone a long way. Instead, we were made to feel like we didn't matter at all. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. If this is how they treat customers before they even walk through the door, I can't imagine how they treat people inside. I would never recommend this business based on the way we were treated.

The store was not spectacular or anything but they did have a lovely selection and particularly from a designer that I just adore! The most appealing part of this place though, was THE SERVICE! I feel awful not remembering their names (this was a couple of months ago) but the young ladies that helped me were fantastic! I have certain physical limitations and these ladies did not make me feel like a burden at all! They were very attentive and honestly just fun to have this experience with! One kind young woman immediately recommended Everlasting Bridal, sharing that her cousin had worked with them and had an incredible experience. Amy didn't just answer our questions, she went above and beyond. Before we even arrived, she and her team sent photos of several headpiece options, and once we arrived they FaceTimed with the bride, and made thoughtful recommendations to ensure she selected the perfect piece for her wedding day. The bride was thrilled with her choice, and honestly felt it was even more beautiful in person than in the photos and FaceTime. And because my wedding has a tight timeline, they offered me the floor model at a discount! I did take a day to go try on dresses elsewhere, and nothing compared to the experience I had at Everlasting Bridal! As soon as I was done with my other appointment, I went straight back to EB in Monroe and the owner, Amy as well as a couple of other ladies on staff helped me try the dress back on and take photos to send to my mom!! Because our timeline was short, I called shops all over the metro Atlanta area trying to locate one. After numerous calls and searches, Black Tie by Lori was the only place that seemed remotely possible. The next day my son and I drove from Acworth to visit the shop. From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly and the atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming. Janae helped us first and she was wonderful. Darion also stepped in, and together they went above and beyond anything we expected. After seeing our inspiration photo, Janae became excited about helping us create the look. Darion began researching whether a green velvet jacket could be found. At first it appeared unavailable, but he kept looking until he located a green velvet jacket with a black satin peak lapel. He even contacted the manufacturer directly and confirmed that one was available in their warehouse. They called us the very next morning, we placed the order, and when we picked it up the jacket fit perfectly. What we thought would be renting a black tuxedo turned into owning the perfect green velvet jacket for prom. Even while assisting another customer who needed several fittings and a lot of attention, Janae and Darion still made us feel like we had their full focus. Their professionalism, enthusiasm, and care made the entire experience memorable. Because of Janae and Darion, this will absolutely be our first stop for any future formalwear needs. The stores that did had an extremely limited collection. After scouring the city I finally came across a dress Happyland in Greenbriar Mall. Happyland is a children's specialty store that carries special occasion dresses, suits, tuxedos, uniforms, shoes, purses, jewelry and other and accessories. With such a vast selection my niece must have tried on nearly 10 dresses. For just $60 we found the perfect satin sage green calf length dress with beading. She loved looked awesome in that dress and I will definitely go back as other special events arise. They sell clothing for infants through size 16 so we'll be able to shop there until she's at least fourteen.
