I also had a consult with Dr. Koch and unfortunately it was not a good time for me to have surgery. They were super accommodating in refunding my money and I really appreciate it that since I unfortunately had a transition that wasn't making it possible for me to feel comfortable having the surgery. There is nit a long wait when I go in and the front desk is amazing. Dr Carlise has a great bedside manner and is super knowledgeable! EveryoneI know that has gone there has had a great turnout! I was allergic to the sutures they used, I had even complained to his nurse at the time who told me just to stop using some ointment I had been prescribed. I did, but turns out it was from the sutures. Dr. Carlisle had gone on vacation after this was done, so hence the lack of after care. Anyway. Two bad experiences from two different providers. I would not recommend.

I called them to ask what I should do about this, and not only did the doctor and everyone else i spoke to fully deny that the medication could have caused the illness, but they were also very condescending and rude. When I told the manager I spoke to that I felt it was irresponsible for a doctor to not inform a patient of any possible side effects, she responded with extreme sarcasm and acted like it was silly to suggest a doctor go over side effects! It was extremely unprofessional and condescending behavior. I would not go here if you want to be seen by a professional.

It was good but I had a amazing experience with Krystal in Ankeny. She was attentive, informative and made sure to enter my points into Allé. Krystal took her time doing my facial and I actually felt like I got a facial with her because my skin immediately started flaking after which is what it's supposed to do. Will definitely go back to see her often. She gave me a mini tour on all the skin care afterwards and explained in detail the Allé points and how you can receive products with your points for SkinMédica only. It would have been nice to be notified that my regular LE was not longer with the company and ex person would be doing them- since then I had Ali & Kristina and Taylor finish out my treatment appointments. Each LE does the treatment different, so I had no idea what to expect for the last 6 months of my treatments. I had to keep asking them to do it the way I preferred. This was the only reason for 4 stars in this review. I have had a hydrafacial with Taylor since, and she is wonderful, easy going and explains the treatment the entire time. I would go back to her anytime for her knowledge and disposition.

When I arrived early, I was ignored and then rudely told they were having a meeting and talking about things at the front counter. It felt incredibly belittling. Upon returning, I was met with another cold interaction just demanding my copay. I tend to have high expectations when it comes to greeting new members of a community so perhaps I misinterpreted, but it did not seem that they were helpful in getting me connected with the care I needed at the time. I hope and pray that this was just a one off experience as skin cancer is a very real issue in my life and many so having great doctors and teams around them matter tremendously.
