He then told me if I came back I would need to pay for a package of treatments in advance instead of paying for each treatment as I got it. He wanted to charge me $180 for one lip and chin treatment and acted like this was a good deal. Well I found an American plastic surgeon, impressive schooling and resume, only 45 minutes from here who put out a promotion to introduce his patients to laser hair removal that lets me get 6 treatments on lip/chin for $129. So goodbye Dr Igor. Oh and by the way the "med spa" is a podiatrist office with a room that has a laser machine in it. It is hot and uncomfortable and very unappealing. Was very confused because I was literally asking them to open the door for me, standing AT THEIR OFFICE. They let me in, but it felt like they didn't want me there. When I got there I waited like 3 minutes (I think I was the only customer) for the doc to see me. My consultation was on laser hair removal but dr.anu quickly let me know I was not a good candidate (apparently you have to be super hairy with thick dark hair). It was literally a 5 minute interaction and then I left. On one hand I nearly felt it a waste to have come to the office, but on the other, I appreciated that she was honest and didn't try to sell me on anything. I'd say based on the consultation alone, I didn't really find this place comforting or friendly at all. However, it might have just been because of the pandemic?
