And honestly I may have been influenced by the DCC since EWC is one of their sponsors lol. The waiting area is very clean, I really liked the vibe, purple and red, some neon lighting and silver reflective surfaces. Kinda Vegas-y. The girls at the counter are very sweet and professional, although if you're paying in cash (as I tried) I was told they don't accept $100 bills bc they don't have a counterfeit detector pen. So use small bills! It has been a while since I last had a bikini wax- but you never forget what it feels like, lol! My aesthetician was Diana; she was very professional, explained the process and wax application, asked if I had questions/concerns and away we went. She made it as painless as she could, it's hard wax (not the kind with a cloth strip) though so it won't be pain-free. I always take Advil 30 min before my appt just in case and honestly, if I'm at home, go underwear free the rest of the day. I recommend EWC Glenview location, I left smooth and happy with the service. It was my first time there so I received a 50% discount when I booked ($35 total) they also have a "first time free" promo on certain services as well. Diana also informed me that if I thought she missed any areas, I could come back in a day or so (after the skin calmed down from the waxing) and they would do a free clean up of the area.

She was a very engaging lady, very sweet and personable, and really listened to what I wanted - also very efficient which I like because I really dislike spending hours in a hair salon. I absolutely LOVE my hair! Beautiful highlights, great haircut, and I've gotten so many compliments. THANK YOU, ANNA!! The place is new so I felt more comfortable - everything was clean, and she gave me the opportunity to sit outside while waiting for hair color to set so I can breathe fresh air instead of inside with a mask. It was a truly wonderful, thoughtful service. They also have other services (spa, nails, etc) that I am excited to try out.
