I am extremely pleased and highly recommend The Door Pros for your garage door repair. They were…read morethe quickest to respond to my Yelp! inquiry and the only service offering a free estimate. One owner called to schedule the estimate and the other arrived to provide the estimate, both done during evening hours when I was available. I needed a new panel for my double door, and they installed a perfect match two days later, on a Saturday, again meeting my schedule. They overhauled other aspects of the door to make it run whisper quiet. The two-man crew accomplished everything in about one hour. Everyone is friendly, courteous, and professional. The price was fair, and this is exactly the type of local business I choose to patronize whenever I can.

I waited five days for this appointment, and unfortunately the technician chose to walk away from…read morethe job without providing any meaningful explanation. He briefly said he was "sorry," but did not show me what the issue was, what he tried, or why he believed the installation couldn't be completed. I had turned on the AC in the garage for him and checked on him periodically. While I was in the kitchen, he called and said, "I am going to pass." I didn't understand what that meant. He walked past me, got in his truck, and began pulling out of my driveway. When I asked for clarification, he repeated that he was "going to pass," and said he didn't have the proper tools and that the job would take him a day and a half. He had already packed up his tools before calling me. He offered no walkthrough of the problem, no explanation of what he saw, and no guidance on next steps -- only that "maybe another tech would have the proper tools." I was left confused, with my garage contents moved outside and rain expected. If a technician truly believes a job cannot be done, I expect at least a basic explanation of the issue and how they reached that conclusion. None of that happened here. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this technician. Clear communication and professional courtesy are essential, and neither was provided. To make sure I wasn't misunderstanding the situation, I contacted Precision the same day. Their technician ( Kaleb) arrived promptly, assessed the tight clearance in my garage, explained what he was seeing, and worked through several possible solutions. He even called his supervisor for guidance. HIs supervisor volunteered to come out help, it wasn't necessary Kaleb handled it and No special tools were needed, he completed the installation in about three hours -- installing a higher‑quality motor than I originally expected. He showed me the concern Richard may have had, but it was not an actual obstacle once someone took the time to evaluate it properly. Highly recommend Kaleb, polite, respectful and dedicated to the installation
