We loved the food but we weren't sure if the dogs were really that good or we were just super hungry. Today, we went back for lunch. OMG. These really are the best hot dogs. What makes them so good? First of all, the snap. When you bite into a Deepwater dog you get that classic hot dog snap followed by very tasty meat inside. Second, the combinations. My wife had chili dogs (no beans) both times and loved them. I had a Reuben dog (both times) and today added a Southern dog. Both were fabulous. The Cole slaw and bbq sauce made the Southern dog sing! Finally, the service. Two different young ladies taking orders on our two visits but both were sweet, friendly and helpful. And the owner/chef takes pride in his work and was genuinely happy when we were happy. This is a fabulous little gem on the rail trail at the top of Underpass Rd.
