I was waxed by tae and I am truly disgusted by what happened in that building yesterday. Not only did she have an attitude when I asked what happened to my former waxer adrianna she was constantly bashing her. It was clear to me she has 0 professional skills, she was talking down on her former coworker to a paying customer which was extremely uncomfortable. Especially when I had no problems with adrianna when I waxed with her. She gossiped about the situation and her own manager Lakoda told me they " gained up on her including Lakoda herself and made sure to leave her with bruises". The manager told me herself they aren't supposed to talk about this with customers, but did anyways. She was degrading and inhumane I am honestly appalled this came out of a managers mouth. Such an uncomfortable experience. Please I beg you to do your research before booking with these people. The management and employees are extremely out of line and unprofessional. Beware of signing up for the package plans. I was charged multiple times for months off and on for over a year. Everytime I called to cancel, I was told it will be cancelled and then a random month money would be taken out of my account. I had faith in them since I was a decade long customer that they would make this right but they never did. I had to finally call my bank to dispute these charges and then get a new card. I would not go back to this place and would highly recommend customers to beware of signing up for any packages. read more

Unfortunately I'm giving the actual business 2 stars because it is in need of a deep cleaning. The customer service is lacking! I've been coming here for a long time usually because I actually like the esthetician. Their books are literally ALWAYS out of order and then they have the nerve to charge people when they are late or put a walk-in clause on their accounts. They have never been on-time with any appointment I've ever had in my history here. It's really declined since their top esthetician Indya left. I will not be renewing. My husband sent this place over to me in hopes we would have a place here in Texas to go to. This girl was absolutely uninviting. I mean from start to finish. Very unprofessional. After I was finished she said "If you feel sticky, use anything on the table" like I was a prostitute or something. So I arrive a few minutes behind 5 mins maybee I'll give her that but that was NOT and still is NOT how you treat someone. Yes I get this service was complementary and yes I understand this is not a painless experience by any means but THIS girl made it a VERY painful. She was very snarky.. NEVER ASKED if the wax was to HOT or anything! I've had this done before and my first time was royal a TRUE spa like experience compared to THIS. First off the place is disgusting as I laid on the table with the thin paper they use in doctors offices. I started looking around and there was some overgrown plant under the table with dirt coming out of it. It was very VERY dusty everywhere! I work in a professional setting as well and I would never treat someone this way. I was in SO much pain for about 3 days after. 0/10 DON'T recommend! NOT HER!! I cried in my husbands arms when I got home! Never book with Tae she is snarky and not gentle at all!! The crazy thing is I specifically didn't book her and still ended up with her they did call and tell me that the person I wanted wouldn't be available so I was stuck with Tae who I could hear over the phone saying I could just reschedule when I was right down the street and I'm a visitor to the state got a little lost on the way over! When I walked in she made me feel like shi# and said" I mean you came all this way and got lost so we can still honor the complementary wax" If it was in ANY other setting this would have gone a totally different way just know that I will always maintain a level of professionalism because that's what WOMEN do. If y'all don't get the gust yet.. she ripped me UP and then had the nerve to ask was I dehydrated after I started bleeding.. which in fact I was but she waited no time before putting MORE hot a## wax on me and holding the areas only twice after RIPPING OFF THE HAIR!! Update!! PLEASE BE AWARE that this location will renew your membership without authorization. I had my last Brazilian in January 2021 and requested that my package not be renewed while I was actually in the studio. It's now April 2021 and I'm still being charged monthly fees. Depil renewed my package without my authorization!! I've called and requested that a manager return my calls but nothing. I've had to call my bank, stop the recurring charges and dispute the unauthorized transactions. I'm warning you now, be very aware of your bank statements after using their services!!! read more

Completely ridiculous considering I am from out of town and was looking for the building, finally found it happy I made it but just to find out that I cannot get my service. I was going to be getting a Brazilian wax and a under arm wax but was told I could not receive my under arm waxing because of me being four minutes late. Every waxer I've been to is amazing!! The front desk staff is awful. Every time I've come in over the last year there's someone new and their communication is terrible and no one can figure out what the right hand is doing from the left. Had a free wax ,as part of a special. This was a Brazilian wax and as a male it proves to be difficult to get these done. Anywhere else will charge a fee(different from a female Brazilian waxes)or will decline service. Loved that this place catered to both genders and that the hosts and staff are so friendly. I'm deducting a star because the waxer burned a delicate spot and I felt like I was being pushed into buying products I didn't need. Stephanie is literally the MVP of Brazilian waxing! She made my first Brazilian ever completely comfortable. She was thorough, detailed and informative. I came to The Colony location on my lunch break and was done in less time than expected. My pain tolerance is about mid-grade but it was not at all as severe as anticipated. I purchased the Barra and Ipanema products and will be testing them out for hyperpigmentation and ingrown hairs. Will provide a progress update after my next appointment in October! read more

Terrible customer service. I was 5 mins late today for my appt. apparently their policy is four minutes so I was turned away. This allows them to charge you for a service that was never completed. I'll also mention that I have repeatedly been made to wait 10-15 mins previously when they are running behind. So apparently it's ok for them to be late, but there is zero leeway for loyal customers. I've been a customer for years and this is how I get treated. They've lost a customer in me and I hope others heed this warning. read more

Poor customer service at this location. I had an appointment that I booked online over a month ago for 5:45. I called them at 5:42 to let them know I was lost (apparently on the other side of Hwy 121). The woman who answered inform me that she was just about to call me because I missed my 5:30 appointment. I explained to her that my appointment was not at 5:30 but actually at 5:45, which was in about 2 or 3 minutes. She went on and on about what her computer was showing, which was an error according to my screenshot attached. She was unhelpful and basically told me I was screwed until 7pm. I told her I couldn't come at 7pm becuase MY appointment was in 3mins not 1hr and 15mins. I have things to do at 7pm. I even asked if she could honor my time or at least provide another courtesy service due to their error. She wouldn't budge. Andee was amazing! I was a little anxious coming in because this was my first waxing experience and for some reason I took a big leap and scheduled a bikini wax, armpit wax and full leg wax, I know I know a little much for a first timer but I was going away in a few days and decided to go ahead and get it all done at once. I scheduled my appointment at 9am and was out in under an hour. Andee brought me to the room and from the time we got started to the end she made me feel at ease, she explained her whole process and I even learned about the life cycle of hair! The whole process went surprisingly well and the pain level? I must have a high pain tolerance because there was no real pain, sure some slight discomfort, especially the armpit area but I was surprised at how little pain I experienced. I'm so glad my first experience was with Andee, I would recommend her to anyone, the girl knows what's she doing and I can honestly say I may be forever done with shaving. read more

I was nervous, yet looking forward to my first Brazilian wax. I live nearby this location and after reading some reviews online I decided to give Depil a try (no specials being offered). Scheduling process over the phone was smooth and I believe you can do so online as well. Arrived for my appointment and was greeted as I walked in. The lobby was small but they have a couple of seats for you while you wait. Went back to the room and was given a few minutes to get undressed and on the table. They have nice pop/r&b music playing which I tried to zone in on but couldn't help but be distracted by the echos from the other rooms and front staff because of the open airflow above the rooms. A couple of minutes later the tech knocked and asked if I was ready. We are all familiar with doing the "butterfly" but it was extremely hard because the table was flush against the wall. I was not educated on the process or coached through with breathing techniques. I was only asked a couple of questions like; When I shaved last. If I'd ever waxed before. If I'd like to leave any hair. There was no trimming before hand and my hair was well over 1/4". Wax was a good temperature and I was asked if it was okay for me. Waxing begins, it was excruciating. There did not seem to be any method to hair removal other than the common pull off in opposite direction of application. Mind you, I was visibly stressed and voiced the pain. I WISH I was told when to breath. Instead I was laughed at. Wax was applied and ripped off in sections and reapplied in the same area. I had several spots bleeding and was not informed of this or why. Ingrown hairs were removed and oil was applied. I was told I did "great" and that I could get dressed and head to the front desk. I was in complete shock at the amount of pain I was in. I could hardly walk without feeling the soreness. Mind you I was in loose sweatpants and no undies. While paying I was overwhelmed with different products that I needed to purchase and when one was turned down the other was added for a "discounted" rate. I was asked how my wax was and when I said traumatizing I was laughed at yet again. I felt pushed to leave a tip and to schedule my next wax. When next wax was scheduled I was then coaxed to check out their membership packages and deals for students. Finally I was able to get "No thank you" through to them. I was sore for about 3-4 days after. Four weeks later I received a call from Depil informing my that my tech no longer worked there and that I would need to pick a new date and time for my wax. No apologies were given nor any patience and understanding for the questions I had to help my decision. After being told, "we are all good" I politely canceled my appointment altogether. Definately would not recommend to a friend especially for their first wax. When I spoke to seasoned "waxers" I was in shock at what the normal Brazilian wax experience really was like. read more

I was very impressed with their customer service and the Brazilian wax itself was one of the better ones I've experienced - almost completely pain free. I scheduled same day appointment, so very accommodating. First wax is free. I didn't know that until I got there so that was pleasant to know. I do think that the first timers get newer aestheticians who may need more experience... the lady who waxed me seemed a little more hesitant on pulling the strips than someone whose been doing this for a while. She was good with keeping conversation and letting you know when she pulls. The place itself is attached to another store so it'll take you a second to locate it. Limited parking. It's cutely decorated and everything looks modern. They have a few products displayed and through each step of the process they remind you to buy it lol. The cashier also mentioned a plan where you'll save by buying ahead so if you want to make this your go to place & you're trying to save money that's a good idea.They all wore masks and did sanitizing after each customer.
