my name is michelle c., the only disappointment that i have…read moreright now is that i cannot give heritage hills a higher rating. i am not sure if there is a ranking high enough for this team! i have a plethora of medical issues that required pain medication. i was tired of how the medication made me feel as well as the hold it seemed to have had. i was sent to dr. edrich by counselor benny butler. the two of them saved my life. my story does not stop there. a month after i began seeing dr. andreas, i broke my neck. i sustained the same break as the original superman actor christopher reeves, leaving him paralyzed from the neck down. i was not expected to live. the original emergency room doctor abandoned my case. dr. andreas ran interference and not only confronted said doctor but he sent me to dr. shawn markey, neurosurgeon who saved my life not once when he provided with me with the spinal surgery i needed, but twice after i contracted mrsa from the hospital and he had to do the surgery again just about a month later. by the way, i have full use of my limbs, to christ be the glory. there was a time when dr. andreas ordered labs for me as a result of an appointment. he just wanted to be cautious. when he received the lab results, he called me at 12:15 a.m. instructing me to get to the hospital. i was bleeding to death internally. a surgery was performed and i was saved. on a different occasion, i called dr. andreas at approximately 1:00 a.m. believe it or not, he responded and instructed me to go to the er. i was rushed into surgery for total bowel blockage. dr. andreas and his team at hh are like family first to each other and then to those they serve! they are faithful and they work tirelessly for their patients! every time i have called, haled, or whatevered, (i know not a word), they have been in the past, and are presently, there, ready to serve. marlene, renee, jasmine, pick one they are beyond amazing! i love them! i have been a patient for over 5 years now and they have never skipped a beat, there has never been one misunderstanding on either side. i understand that they are not infallible, as only my saviour is, but they may be pretty dang close. by the way, just in case those of you reading this little critique think i have been compensated in any way, call them up and ask them how much i owe them financially. i'll sign the hippa permitting them to give you a ballpark estimate. they do what they do out of love, passion, commitment, and service to those of us who need them most and they do so with excellence!

I spent 60 days in this recovery center. It was the most fulfilling time of my life. The staff are…read morethe most supportive people around and truly cared about my recovery. The facility needs some cleaning up and the food was rough but all in all I was so blessed to have had the opportunity to come here to get better. Special shout out to Em, my case manager, and Dr. G. You guys save lives.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. Let's see where to start...Meghann (yes, with two n's)…read morethe "therapist" is unprofessional, she talks about all the other therapists and how badly corporate is run. I never got any time with her and when I did her responses were all of, "Yeah" "I agree" "Good idea" - she is worthless, you'll get better feedback from an inanimate object. She had the chance to deescalate a situation between an abusive BHT (male, Hispanic Jamie) and myself and she did the exact opposite. The BHT was historically known as aggressive, power tripping, women hating, hostile and threatening towards the clients and one particular day he was all in my face accusing me of something that I didn't even do, and I spoke back to him exactly the way he was speaking to me. Least to say I voluntarily discharged early because she came at me in an accusing manner, stripped me of my offsite pass and did not want to hear my side of the situation nor investigate this BHT. I cancelled all my additional services with PLR because of this incident, I'll give my money to an agency with integrity. The clinical person Kari is worthless too - leaned on her to complete admin work that was never done, the left doesn't know what the right hand is doing there. The photos depicted on their website look nothing like the real thing, everything is falling apart, dirty and poorly maintained, see pics of my room below. Nursing was known to give clients the wrong medications, as a result some clients were falling asleep at the beginning of the day. The food is disgusting, void of any nutritional value although Nursing and their educational content are completely inconsistent. During the Thanksgiving holiday they had no staff present and were subjected to doing arts and crafts all week, it was a joke, like we were in 6th grade. I was supposed to have therapy twice a week, PLR was short-staffed in addition to being money hungry, they were maxed out with patients and I never received therapy of any kind, CBT or EMDR. I will be taking this up and disputing my final balance with Cigna. Most of the clinicians were good but some (Rob/Cindy) were known to talk openly in class about certain groups of people being improperly wired, telling patients they would relapse, addressing gay people them as f*gs, continuous cursing and derogatory language often offending different groups of people. Do not send your loved ones here! It is a poorly run facility that should be audited more often and investigated.

With no reason to expect anything but more of the same results from conventional medicine, I turned to Treatment Centers XL/Aminokit (XL) for help. After the first day of treatment with the amino acid therapy, my symptoms literally disappeared overnight. The next morning, I woke after sleeping for 8 hours with no medication for the first time in over 7 years. Amazing! No valium withdrawal symptoms and no depression. I went from being a numbed-out, irritable zombie to "feeling" again - literally overnight. The honeymoon lasted for 7 days, then the insomnia returned, and the next three weeks were pretty rough. However, rather than giving me the usual (insomnia) b.s. about counseling, sleep hygiene, etc., and/or trying to put me back on sleep meds, the folks at XL worked with me to adjust my amino acid supplements. As a result, my sleep steadily improved to the point where I've consistently slept well for several weeks now. Recovery from the effects of long-term valium use is an imposing proposition, but my mental focus, clarity and memory have improved dramatically as well. XL staff are a fun and personable bunch, and the atmosphere is comfortable, relaxed and warm. I experienced no notable delays or waits, and XL staff were very flexible in adjusting their schedules to accommodate my needs. In my case, XL people came in on both a Saturday and a Sunday to administer my IVs, and stayed late with me on several occasions. As far as I'm concerned, these folks personify healthcare at its finest. Going with Treatment Centers XL/Aminokit is the best decision I've ever made. They literally gave me my life back. I'm still amazed at what a dramatic, transformational experience this has been. It's been three months and still - WOW! I'm still getting used to feeling good again!

None of the staff are ever on time and it is not a tightly run ship, at all. I am also disappointed that I spent thousands of dollars here (twice now) and since there is no after care past 30 days, I always relapsed. I wish I could go again, but my money is spent. They don't care about you after 30 days.

Redpoint offers group therapy, individual therapy, a full-time doctor who can help with medications, yoga therapy, art therapy, and community events. If you or someone you know needs support for drug or alcohol abuse or addiction, this is the place to call. Even if Redpoint isn't the right fit, the leadership knows how to make a great recommendation for somewhere else!

Tonya Ramirez told me outright that no service dogs were allowed -- a clear breach of federal law under the ADA. When I calmly educated the staff on service dog protections, rather than acknowledging the error and moving forward, the situation escalated in a way that felt punitive. Ashley converted my straightforward intake into an in-person interrogation-style interview. Taylor then withheld permission for Ashley to schedule my actual intake appointment, pushing my care back two full weeks. For someone seeking mental health support, two weeks is not a minor inconvenience. It can feel like an eternity. What troubles me most is the question this raises: if a facility cannot follow well-established federal disability law, one of the most basic legal protections afforded to people with disabilities, what confidence can patients have that other standards of care are being upheld? A mental health facility should be a place of safety, dignity, and compassion. What I experienced was the opposite. I cannot in good conscience recommend RedPoint to anyone seeking professional mental health care in Longmont.
