Long story short, the everyday run of the mill flu, turned into a secondary pneumonia and horrible lung infection for me. My right lung was over 80% infected while my left lung was a little over 50 infected. This was NOT walking pneumonia but rather the kind of pneumonia that pretty much kills people when 50% of the lung is infected. once again... I had 80% infection rate. I spent over 5 hours in the ER, was given emergency injection of antibiotics, pregnazone and fist fulls of oral antibiotics. After that, they pretty much told me to pray that everything works and that I'd beat it. As an ex-athlete, longtime skier and mountain biker, this was the craziest medical game plan I had heard of. Fortunately, with what little bit of mental cognition I had left, I decided to look into hyperbaric oxygen therapy for pneumonia relief. Lucky for me, Icelandic Fitness popped up after a Google Search or two. These HBOT treatments along with Jason's meticulous oversight, worked miracles on my health and I survived my ordeal. I don't want to get into all of the science behind the efficacy of (HBOT) hyperbaric oxygen therapy, all I can say is the information is out there and the Hyperbaric Oxygen Institute lists some unbelievable benefits. Should this therapy be sought to treat pneumonia? 100%, yes! As a matter of fact it just seems crazy that none of the medical staff even mentioned it as a treatment option. That's how great this treatment works. I did FOUR days in a row at about 1.5 hours per session. That might be a bit much for some people, but I'm confident Jason will help identify how many sessions and how long each will work best for you. It really comes down to his expertise and him asking the right questions about what's going on with your body. I never realized how much I missed the camaraderie team sports provide until I joined Team Hi-Dive and they let me wear a dress when I kick balls. Plus this organization not only "supports drunk people running around in the hot, arid summer air" they also have fundraising and charity events and get 20 & 30 somethings together weekly in an active event. And if you think kickball is "easy" I'll have you know it was hard to walk for about 2 days after my first practice. And if you pitch it's basically like doing lunges for an hour and a half. The games are fun to play and fun to watch and whoever wins at the end gets the magical Golden Boot as a prize. Man, I'd like to touch the boot.

I've had the same ball for 10+ years before I decided to add more variety to my games. So... my husband did a bit of research and said Ten Back is where I'd have to go to pick and drill a new thing to throw down. Surprisingly, he wasn't wrong! Hehe. Mason was the one to measure my throwing hand the two times I stopped in for a new curve ball. In addition, he made sure to observe my bowling style prior to drilling and adjusted the finger holes afterwards. This is the most flagrantly deliberately dishonest company I have ever encountered in my lifetime…read more They have two sides: the side that runs sports leagues but has no customer service and couldn't care less, doesn't even care to pretend, then they have the flagrant scam side, where they string you along saying they're "sending you a refund" if you're league was cancelled, when they're not, they're just hoping that you will forget and many people do indeed forget, then they only refund the squeakiest of the wheels. If you made the unfortunate mistake of giving them your money, just call Visa or Mastercard and have the payment reversed. SportsMonster didn't even follow the health department rules during the covid pandemic. During the summer of 2020 they had Kickball teams at Goodale park playing multiple other teams on the same day, despite the Columbus Health Department explicitly saying that sports teams could play the same team twice, but cannot play more than one team in 24 hours, to reduce possible covid spread, mean-while every other sports league in Columbus followed the health department rules.
