Both of our daughters had a great year, one in kindergarten and one in Pre-K. The teachers were kind, patient, caring, and had such a special influence on the kids. You can truly see how much they love and encourage each child. One thing I really loved was how well they paid attention to each child's strengths and areas where they needed support. The progress reports and updates were always timely and helpful, and it was amazing to see how much growth happened throughout the year. Communication with the teachers and staff was also wonderful. Anytime I had a question, I always received a response quickly, usually in less than an hour, which meant so much as a parent. We also loved the principal, teachers, and staff. From the classroom to carpool, everyone was always so welcoming and cheerful. They greeted the kids with big smiles and truly treated them like their own. Our girls grew so much this year, both academically and personally, and we will always be thankful for the love, support, and positive impact ORLS had on our family. I have volunteered when they take the kids to the North Texas Food Bank each year so I've seen how they deal with the kids in and out of the facility. I would not hesitate to leave my child in their care, especially when you realize what some of the other options are out there. This is by far the best run, cleanest and friendly daycare we have used. We lived near downtown before moving north and had a good experience with our previous daycare but Primrose is so much more advanced in their curriculum and have many more activities than our older daughter ever experienced at her previous daycare.

My child was 3yo when he started, and yes, he had to be potty-trained to start. I was shocked when they told me they do not take naps, as they are a school and not a day-care. However, when they explained they get "rest" time, but they only get them from 8:30-2:30, it wasn't long and they had lots to teach, so I was good! And boy did they teach! At the end of his first school year my 3-4yo could recite the pledge of allegiance to the US flag and the Texas Flag. He did daily affirmations. He had learned to count to over 100. He knew all of his letters, and could write his own name, and the name of the all the kids in his class! He knew his address, and his mommy and daddy's phone numbers. He knew who Mother Teresa, Vincent van Gogh, and Georgia O'Keefe were! This precocious child of mine even knew addition, subtraction, and some basic multiplication and division! Let me tell you, I was blown away with this Vintage education! The ladies that run this school, are the most caring, thoughtful people I have met. They truly care about these kids, and setting them up for Kindergarten success! Several of my child's classmates went directly to home schooling, and some went into Kindergarten early, due to the advanced learning styles of this school! I chose to keep my child another year, and I am blown away that my child can read independently to himself at 4yo! I can't wait to see what happens when he turns 5, and for the rest of the school year! If YELP could give a 6 or a 10 STARS, these ladies would deserve every one. Since the management change two months ago, this facility has unfortunately gone downhill. My…read more2-year-old has come home with more unexplained injuries in the last few weeks than in our entire two years here. These wounds are often not treated properly, and there have been multiple times where no incident report was filed -- and neither my husband nor I were informed by staff. The assistant director, Vanessa Ortiz, has extremely poor communication skills. It often takes more than a full school day to get a response to emails about serious issues like injuries. When we've tried to address concerns in person, we're met with excuses, not answers -- and certainly no sense of urgency. Also, if you have an issue and ask for the teacher's names (since we don't know their names due to so much turn over), don't expect to get them without the director reaching higher above her and then telling you to reach out to the area or regional director :) Shockingly, some teachers have even stepped in during conversations with other staff and *yelled* at us while trying to defend one another. The stories we're told rarely add up, and it feels like there's a serious lack of transparency and accountability. Supervision in the classrooms is clearly lacking, and poor communication seems to be used as a cover-up rather than a fix. There has also been an alarming amount of turnover among staff and students in just the last two months alone. That said, I want to give a huge shoutout to Mrs. Margie, Mrs. Wanda, and Ms. Jasmine. These amazing ladies are the only reason we're waiting until summer to pull our son. We truly appreciate the love and care you show our baby -- thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Although I only attended here for 1 and a half years (junior-senior year) I will say this school is great. This is a new school and Frisco does a great job of keeping their class sizes small and keeping their schools at 4-5a. This is to give every student a great opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities. Also because Frisco is booming there's obviously an influx of schools, if you haven't noticed. Because of this they're in high demand for educators. So some of the teachers are on the younger side but there's also some veterans paving the way. When it comes to test scores and education Heritage is not only in the top rankings for the DFW but the whole state of Texas. So parents your students are in good hands! I feel like the teachers do a great job at college preparation but like I said I only attended here for a short amount of time so most of my knowledge was already instilled. Heritage operates on an A-B schedule (where you don't go to every class everyday but interchange every other day) this is so great to get used to how college schedules will be like! One negative thing that I experienced here was participating in softball. I pretty much loved everything about it except for the fact that my coach broke state rules with the amount of hours practicing. We'd practice twice a day totaling at least 4 hours a day. During season it was very straining with homework and maintaining a normal life. She received multiple warnings but never changed. There's also a required study hall that coaches have to do maybe once a week or at least once a month. We never did that. She is no long there but just make sure when your students are participating in sports that education takes priority! Other positives: clean school, clean bathrooms, personable staff Other negatives: sheltering/coddling students (not conducive for college), dress coding is over the top and borderline pervy, insistent that the mascot is called KY-OATS (coyotes) no let's speak proper English it's KY-O-TEES.

The practice test were used so many times the answers were visible on the test and were a distraction. My student received the same score on the ACT before and after the program. I highly suggest you try another program. This one is a waste of your money and time.
