What a disheartening and frustrating experience…read more... Going back about about 15 years ago, I brought my car to AllTech and met the owner (knowledgeable, respectful and welcoming); I returned with other work, all good experiences. The original owner eventually sold though... It was only recently that I returned with a car with some needed work; refinishing the rims, change the rear tail lights and replace some rubber trim but the priority was the gas cap was not opening. I met the current owner (Andres) and he passed me over to his estimator (Eric). It was a simple repair and they quoted a fair price... I picked up the car and the car was back to working condition.... a week later I noticed a two gouges into the paint in the door panel (not fully chipped but clearly there). I called the shop and was told by Eric (estimator) that since more than a day passed I would have to show the owner (Andres). Andres wasn't available so I left a message... but no call back. Eric told me he spoke with him and he would call me within the next couple days but again no call back. Then a couple weeks passed and I'm now told by Eric that the owner unexpectedly had to go to Russia and would be back at the end of the week and he'd call. Of course no call after more than a week. Then finally, Eric set up a time and date that I was to meet Andres at the shop. I arrived and Eric (estimator) tells me Andres is not there but Andres told him to see the chips/damage. He immediately went with it was too much time and there is no proof it happened here. Despite all the dialogue that was exchanged, I wasn't even asking for a free repair (I wanted to have a fair resolution and even give them more work).... During the meeting, Eric lost it and began going on a loud, obnoxious rant and calling me a liar (not about the damage but because I wouldn't swear on a bible)... then he began to run all over the property, screaming like a mad-man for his staff to witness... They all gather at the car and he is still getting uncontrolled... I'm literally thinking mental health or just insane; even his staff was staring at him and I calmly apologize to them, saying I have no idea why he is getting all worked-up... Even threatened to call cops to have me tresspassed ! AND THEN... the owner walks out... even though ERIC said he wasn't there. He got all the others to leave and we chatted... He acted as if he had no idea and claimed Eric said I just reported the damage this week (even though it was weeks prior). He tried to have his guy look over the somewhat attempt to fix it but even when we chatted about possible taking the car to fix it; I said I wouldn't trust leaving my car at this point because Eric is not to be trusted. A place that was once a great body shop is definitely not recommended anymore.

Andy was very pleasant to deal with and explained the process very well. There was a little bit of extra work which he absorbed the cost of without being asked. Disappointed & Cautioning Others - Think Twice Before Choosing Crash Champions…read more I was referred to Crash Champions by State Farm in August 2024 to repair my bumper and address issues stemming from an accident. While the bodywork looked great initially, that's unfortunately where the good experience ended. They replaced my A/C compressor with a refurbished one, and immediately the A/C began acting up. I brought the car back twice, and after much back and forth and them denying originally hearing the odd noises my car was making, they agreed to order a new compressor. I didn't want to be a hassle, so I patiently waited five months for the new one to come in. But once it was finally installed, the A/C was ten times worse than before. Crash Champions told me they didn't know what was wrong and suggested I take it to the dealer. The dealer diagnosed the issue in minutes -- the compressor had no Freon at all. Either it was never charged properly, or they failed to notice it had none. This cost me $468 out of pocket for something that absolutely should have been caught and resolved by Crash Champions in the first place. I've since provided them with the dealer's bill and am currently waiting to see how they plan to handle this. But that's not all -- I also noticed, upon originally picking up my car, that my driver's door now makes a loud creaking noise that wasn't there before I handed them my car in August. They, of course, denied any responsibility, but I know my car, and it was never like that prior. While the front desk staff is very polite, the reality is this: Crash Champions is a body shop -- and not a very thorough one beyond that. They're not equipped to handle issues that go beyond body repairs, despite being the place State Farm referred me to for a comprehensive repair. If you're considering Crash Champions, be warned: your car may not be cared for with the attention and skill you'd expect. What should have been a straightforward insurance repair turned into a months-long hassle, and I'm still cleaning up the mess.
