I had my…read moreprocedure on 4/20/26 (wisdom teeth removal) and as of today (7/24/26), I am still numb in my lower lip. It is slowly getting feeling back, but my main issue is my follow up visit that I went to a few days after my surgery. I felt as if I developed a hole from my wisdom tooth extraction site to my sinus. I was having issues with water dripping from my nose when rinsing and overall sinus pressure/something didn't feel right and called the office to inquire about it/update them. The receptionist on the phone urged me to come in so the doctor can take a look at it, but I explained how I didn't want to take time off work and come in, just to be told it would heal on its own. The receptionist urged me anyways so I took time off and came in. I want to start off by saying my entire appointment from check in to leaving was about 10 minutes. When I arrived for my appointment, I explained my concerns with the possible hole (pressure, leaking) and my continued numbness in my lip. Dr. Johnson didn't even take a look in my mouth to look at the incisions or the possible hole. He simply tested my lip numbness with a cotton swab and told me the hole would heal on its own. He explained the numbness can last up to a few months or even a year in some patients. I'm not upset about the numbness as the tooth was impacted, but the lack of concern about my concerns of the hole that developed (who knows though, maybe I didn't have a hole, but I wouldn't know nor would the doctor since he didn't look). He simply told me to call him back after a week or two to update him on the numbness and to take Mucinex MD for the pressure. I explained to the nurse I was disappointed and wouldn't be calling back. After the visit I was still having dripping from my nose and pressure and developed a pretty gross sinus infection that thankfully has gone away.

I knew without hesitation that I wanted to have the tooth removed and that Dr. Bryce Leavitt was someone I could depend upon to do the job. He took such good care of me when I had a wound from intubation and I was so grateful that the office was able to get me on their schedule quickly when I called. He performed the extraction in the office under anesthesia and it's now a month later and I've healed beautifully. He's an excellent physician and just a great person with well trained staff.

From the time I booked and left my appointment, nothing but great customer service…read more After finding out I had split my tooth in half and needed a bone graph extraction from my dentist, I needed to find an oral surgeon asap with all the pain I had to deal with when trying to chew. Unfortunately, my dentist could not find an oral surgeon who could see me right away. In addition, an oral surgeon who does local anesthesia. My personal choice, I did not want to be sedated esp since I believed this to be a simple extraction. The majority of oral surgeons do sedation, and I was lucky to find this oral surgeon to saw me right away and was able to use local anesthesia. The whole procedure prob took at least 30 minutes. It was quick and easy. They have an updated X-ray machine where you don't have to keep biting down and instead, the one they have is very quick and easy. During the extraction, they had me on a blood pressure monitor to ensure I was ok. I am on day 1 after the procedure and believe it or not, I am not in pain at all. Overall experience, couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the individual answering my phone calls, to the front desk to the dental assistant and surgeon.

It was great! Afterwards, I had very little pain and swelling, and just a bit of bruising on my cheek. His entire staff is friendly and they put you at ease during the entire procedure. Later, I had follow up appointments to make sure everything was A-OK (which it was). Then, I went to my regular dentist to have two crowns put in. Both my husband and I have gotten multiple colonoscopies here, including mine a couple of months ago and his most recently. He also added an endoscopy, which he said he couldn't even tell afterwards as he had no soreness. Dr. Mokuolu is the gastroenterologist we see and he's amazing and seriously the best! The facility sets up text message alerts to the patient's driver as they move through surgery from prep to completion. I was informed every step of the way. I could sit and visit while he waited before and in recovery. The facility is in a nice clean parking lot with some fast casual restaurants nearby, so multiple options for a quick coffee or bite to eat while waiting. I just walked because it was so close. When back in the office waiting area, there is cold water and a coffee machine. Lots of seating inside and some in the main lobby as well. Shout out to Danielle, Amy, Ramee, and Heather who helped take care of my husband. My caretakers were Jayeline, Ashley, and Ashley N. The only negative is the fire alarm was being tested about 9am, which I commented to the maintenance that they shouldn't do it while people are in surgery, as it's very loud. There was constant turnover -- the hygienist seemed different at nearly every cleaning, and my dentist changed multiple times. With each visit, the overall bedside manner felt less personal and more rushed. There seemed to be little concern about explaining treatment plans or helping elevate concerns I had. What ultimately concerned me most was the treatment planning. After seeking several second opinions, I was told by other dentists that some of the recommended treatment recommendations, including crowns, were aggressive and unnecessary. That raised serious red flags for me. I also began to feel uncomfortable with the front office staff. There was noticeable pressure to agree to additional services, and when I asked questions or declined treatment, the response sometimes felt dismissive. Because of these experiences, I decided it was best to switch providers. I hope they can refocus on consistency, patient communication, and more conservative treatment recommendations in the future.

I was taken back after sitting just a couple of minutes by Angel the awesome tech. I love the technology of this office. They do digital X-rays and photos. Super easy no pain no stress, and super quick. I saw Dr Kaplan today. She is so nice and I got a great report today. My hygienist was Chelsea. I hadn't had an appointment with her in like a year. I guess I was scheduled with a different hygienist. She is so great! She is very detailed and personable. We caught up on what we have both been up to this last year, during my treatment. I just love the personalized care. I do have new info that they are using a new and improved fluoride treatment. It is water soluble. And it only has to stay on for 15 minutes to be effective. That means you only have to wait 15 minutes before you eat or drink anything. They have two flavors right now mint or watermelon. The watermelon flavor is light and sweet. I like it. They gave me sunglasses to wear during the exam so the bright light they use to see doesn't blind me. Lol. I was able to book my next 3 appointments while sitting in the comfy chair. I received a tooth brushing kit, perfect for travel or work. Check out was super quick. This office is professional, friendly and efficient. Team work in action. The hours are also important to me. They are able to get me in, late afternoon after school hours. So perfect! This office is right between my school and my house so it's perfect for me. There is always plenty of parking.
