I had a very concerning experience at DentalPros and feel other patients should be aware. I've had many routine dental cleanings over the years without issues, which is why this experience stood out. During my cleaning, the hygienist (who mentioned she has been practicing for 40+ years) was extremely rough and there was a significant amount of bleeding during the cleaning. I have had many dental cleanings over the years and have never experienced that level of bleeding or discomfort. My gums were sore and continued bleeding afterward, and they have remained painful for more than 10 days. The appointment was also uncomfortable for other reasons. The hygienist spent much of the time discussing her personal health issues (including multiple bouts of shingles and intestinal parasites) and repeatedly promoting "red light therapy" that she offers at another office. It felt very inappropriate in a professional setting. After the appointment, I contacted the office because I was genuinely concerned about the care I received. Unfortunately, no one responded to my messages or returned my calls. The complete lack of follow-up was just as troubling as the experience itself. Dental visits can already be stressful, and patients deserve gentle care and responsive communication when something goes wrong. Because of the lack of response, they have lost my family of four as patients. If you choose this office, I strongly recommend asking which hygienist you are scheduled with beforehand. read more

Poorly managed dental office. I have gone to DentalPros at multiple locations in Tucson both for cleaning and oral surgery for more than a year. They scheduled me for cleaning recently. The appointment was made four months in advance and reconfirmed a month before the appointment. Six days before my appointment they called me saying they must reschedule because their hygienist is not available. They rescheduled me for a few days later at 4:30 pm. I took the last hour off from my work and drove 45 minutes in heavy traffic to get to the dental office. I arrived at 4:34 pm and they said they must cancel my appointment because they are leaving the office at 5 pm. A complete mismanagement in the scheduling. This is not the first bad experience I have had with them. My last cleaning with DentalPros was only about 20 minutes with minimal attention to thorough cleaning. Also, for a tooth extraction they asked me to pay the money upfront saying my insurance will not cover tooth extraction. I paid the full amount up front before the procedure. Later, I found out they billed my insurance and my insurance actually paid a good portion of the procedure. They never told me they had billed my insurance, and that I was due for a refund. After multiple calls and four months later, I received a very small refund check for a procedure that I had paid the whole amount up front. A complete failure as far as scheduling and billing. No business should operate this poorly. read more

The type of care was beyond belief, the receptionist, Miss Peyton was the nicest receptionist I have ever come across in a dentistry. I have an appointment for the following day after making the appointment just now is very rare. They also have available full anesthesia, gas local anesthetic, laughing gas And pain medication. Also, if you like my husband, he gets so out of it and anxious and rebellious when it comes to going to a dentist and this dentist is the only one I could get him to agree to go to that says a lot for all those that don't know my husband. I have yet to experience in care quality but I'm sure it is going to be fantastic. Thank you again Peyton you deserve a raise. read more

We have been patients at OrthoPros for several years and we love them. We found this location after seeking several different options for braces for our son. When we scheduled a consultation, we were met with knowledgeable, friendly, and caring staff. We are always promptly seen and the care that both my children (the oldest who is almost ready to have his braces off and our youngest who is almost ready to have braces on) is exceptional. As a parent I love the fact that I am ways well informed and the course of action that is taken is always in my children's best interest. Even in times of COVID-19, we know that the staff had taken precautions to keep everyone safe. We have been to the office a few times since the end of May and the policies and practices in place outline best care practices. So let me start by saying that I would never normally review a dental office...why? Because generally I hate going to the dentist. But Dr. Kurt and Dr. Caroline have completely changed my opinion on that. Everyone in that office from the front desk staff to the dental hygienists, to Dr. Michael to Dr. Caroline has great standards of customer service. They all care about their patients and look like they enjoy what they do. The office set up and the music played in it alone would make me want to hang out there, cleaning or not. I had my first appointment here for a cleaning. The office told me I would need to have x rays and an exam on a first appointment but that barring, any special services I needed, they would fit in my cleaning the same day. Dr. Michael is fantastic and answered any and all silly questions I had. Everyone was supportive and honest about dental health. The staff makes sure to tell you what your insurance will and will not cover so there are no surprises. The office looks like it's equipped to handle anything anyone could ever need for your best smile! I couldn't think of people I would trust my dental health with more. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I can't wait until my next appointment! read more

The one at 1402 E Marketplace. Had appointment on May 8 to see a specialist, for my TMJ! which I been suffering since Covid-19. I had to wait 3 months for this appointment. Everything went well, they did inform that my insurance didn't cover the night guard that I needed. So I pay 350$. I was given an appointment May 15 to come back to pick it up. Well I get there, was taken to the dentist chair and the hygienist started taking x-rays for my mouth again! I'm like wait a minute, the x-rays for the mouth guard were taken, on May 8. The staff at Orthopros are so professional and friendly. They work hard to make your visit there as pleasant as possible. My son had braces when we moved to Tucson and they worked with what he had instead of making him start over. they have cancelled my oral surgery on short notice and takes months to get you in again, leaving me in intense pain. they refuse to do anything to try to help me i have called almost daily to try to get in sooner or to get some kind of relief only to be told that they cant get me in still and will have the dentist call me back about the pain by the end of the day. still have not received a call back i cant eat i cant sleep i cant work the pain is effecting my vision because there is a nerve exposed and a tooth impacted and they will not do anything to help me. read more

Dr. Kacer has been a fantastic physician to work with - my son adores him and his team, we never wait long, and the entire process of getting braces has been smooth. As a marketing exec, I didn't think I'd learn such a valuable lesson in customer service, as I did today - from an orthodontist. Quick story: After being scheduled at the wrong office last week, I needed to drive across town and ... I was annoyed. The Orthopros team was apologetic, moved the appointment back and took my son back immediately upon arriving at their other office. Afterwards, Dr. Kacer personally came out to apologize again. I wasn't even slightly annoyed at this point - mistakes happen. Today, I received a handwritten note from the Orthopros team, apologizing again with a gift card for coffee on them. WOW! Lesson: Terrific customer service is never more evident than how a team responds when things go wrong. Nice job OrthoPros. read more
