I was seen right away, no wait. Dr. Schachter was very kind, calm and gentle. He made sure to administer the novocaine in the most painless way possible. He talked me through everything, took his time and by the time the tooth was removed- I didn't even realize he had taken it out. I felt nothing! His assistant was super sweet, kept my company and talked to me while we waited for the novocaine to kick in- she even let me hold/squeeze her hand during the procedure (in hindsight it was totally unnecessary the way I squeezed the crap out of her hand, but it was still very comforting lol). Dr Greenberg saw me immediately after I called him,(I had never seen him before) after not having…read morebeen treated for a severe tongue laceration by my local ER, and several other doctors who thought treatment wasn't necessary. This 'non-treatable' laceration, due to a seizure took 12 stitches to close, and had to be reopened to give the edges a good surface to heal with! It was so 'unimportant' that I lost 25 pounds! He made himself available to me for questions, (and was apparently impressed with his own work because he took photos!) His office is 1 hour from my home, and I do not regret making that trip. The staff was PERFECT! (both secreterial, and clinical). I met him due to a comedy of 'issues', my dentist was out, his referral was closed, but that office's voice mail directed me to Doc Greenberg. When I went back to get the stitches out, I had to wait 15 minutes. I found out that it was due to an older lady that had a sudden abscess...perfectly understandable, and that convinced me that necessity, not scheduling is his priority. BRAVO! I tend to be a very anxious patient who's filled with never-ending questions. Dr. Weber explained the entire process to me every step of the way. He showed me x-rays and explained everything that was necessary, why it was, and how it would be performed. He was very patient (and willing) to answer my many questions throughout the journey. I chose to be sedated for the procedure and even the anesthesiologist he works with was excellent. When I awoke, I was greeted with the excellent news that he was able to perform all the procedures AND place the implant simultaneously! Post-op, I was surprised at how minimal my discomfort, pain and swelling were (I didn't even need over-the-counter pain medication!) I'm glad I found Dr. Weber and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs oral surgery.
