I want to convey the absolute satisfaction my wife and I have with the staff of the Dental365…read moreoffice in New City, NY. First, some brief background... My half-century-long friendship with Dr. Ira Bernstein began when he still was in dental school. I became one of his patients soon thereafter, as did my wife 37 years ago. When he sold his practice to Dental365 and then retired this past April, we were not sure we would stay with the practice. After all, we drive there from our home in New Jersey. Then we met Dr. Dana Truehart. She is confident, knowledgeable, warm and has a bedside manner we find engaging and comforting. I don't know if the phrase applies in dentistry, but she has a "good set of hands!" My wife is going through the latter stages of implants and denture replacement. Dr. Truehart has assured my wife that when she is done, my wife will be thrilled and happy with her smile, which she hasn't been for a number of years. We also are happy that two veterans and friends of ours from Dr. Bernstein's practice are with us in New City: Trina Grant and Cathy Burke, two consummate professionals in their respective areas. Finally, one of your executives made a great call in promoting Estefany Sandoval to office manager. She has more than risen to the occasion skillfully and with a customer-facing attitude that warms us and other patients whenever we visit the office. We watched her deal with a patient who I would charitably described as an a--hole with grace under fire. She actually heard an apology before he left the office! We will be moving from New Jersey in the not-too-distant future. We thought that if we stayed with Dental365, we would visit an office closer to our new home. But after the world-class treatment we have received from Dr. Truehart, we will drive to New City as long as we are able.

I left feeling great, educated and confident about my next visit. I had a fantastic first appointment here! The entire staff, especially the reception team, is incredibly kind. Highly recommend!

I had went to a previous dentist, where they wanted $4,000 for a root canal and crown. I simply…read morecould not afford that. I opted to have it extracted all together. However, I needed to go to an oral surgeon to do so. I was desperate, a lot of places did not have availability until March/April of next year. I called Dr. Simpson's office on December 5th and the soonest I could get was January 19th. I happily took it. They even offered to put me on an "ASAP" list in case there are any cancellations. Lo and behold, I get a call December 8th saying there was a cancellation for Monday, December 11th. I took it immediately. My appointment was at 1:45. After I filled out my paper work, they had in me in the chair by 2:08. Dr. Simpson and his staff made me feel SO comforted. Like many others, I get anxious about dentistry. Dr. Simpson has a very kind demeanor. He was thorough with his consultation and made it feel personal, not just an in and out situation. He even offered me the option of getting the extraction done on the spot!! They did not make me feel guilty or shamed for the state of my teeth. They didn't rush me to make brash choices. They thoroughly explained everything to me. They even gave me something to squeeze and hold as the procedure occurred. I was out by 3:30pm. They gave me extra gauze and paper work. I was at the pharmacy and Dr. Simpson did a follow up call! Seeing how I was feeling and if I had any concerns. I am very happy with the service I received and I cannot praise the staff enough! I'll always recommend them. And the cost? $182 vs $3,000. Thank you, Dr. Simpson. You really saved me.

‼AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS ‼…read more IGNORE the 4.7 star rating this surgeon has on google. I genuinely do not know how he has received this rating. I will be warning EVERYONE to STAY FAR AWAY from this place. I saw Dr. Brian Simpson due to excruciating wisdom tooth pain that was keeping me up at night for over a week. If I was not so desperate and tired I would have walked out of the office mid-procedure. First of all, I waited an hour after my appointment time before being seen at all. For whatever reason, during the consultation, Dr. Simpson spoke to me extremely condescendingly, as though I was a child. While I understand he wanted to clearly explain the procedure and risks to me, it got genuinely offensive. When it came time to discuss anesthesia options, I indicated I was not comfortable with general anesthesia and would stick with local. This seemed to really upset him as he immediately kicked me out of the room and I proceeded to wait another 1.5 hours before being brought back in. I assume he was upset that my decision meant my insurance would not pay $2,000 extra for the general anesthesia. During the entirety of the procedure, I felt genuinely violated and disrespected. Dr. Simpson was unnecessarily rough and forceful, and I could tell he was upset with the way he was angrily huffing in my face. It felt like psychological torture. He was even rude to his own assistants, and it was obvious he was rushing the surgery. He cracked my tooth in 6 places and got even angrier and more frustrated. Not a single time did him nor any of his assistants check on me or say anything to me throughout the entire procedure. I jumped up and gasped in pain at one point and no one said anything at all to me and pretended nothing occurred. In fact, one of them in particular was extremely rude to me even after. I was in such shock I could barely respond. I was supposed to have my 3 other wisdom teeth done here. Dr. Simpson can rest assured I will NOT be returning to his office for any work. I will do my best to make sure everyone I know goes to a different surgeon.
