Went here just a little over 2 years ago at the end of 2022, for a lot of work to be done: implants, root canal, deep cleaning, etc. Had to go back on 3 separate occasions to get "cleared" for the actual implants after the anchor points were done, because someone there couldn't chart worth a dang. They lost the molds for said implants twice, only ended up doing part of the work. Got fed up with "oh you'll have to come back for that" being said to me at every booked appointment (so they could milk my insurance) so I told them I wasn't going to pay for work not rendered. Fast forward to early 2025, try to give them the chance to correct the root canal that is now failing. Booked the appointment, got insurance squared away, had to wait until end of the day to see them to get told "oh you still owe us money, we can't see you." Mind you, I have 3 separate dental plans. No offer to fix their mistake. Wasted my time. Cherry on top? They were telling people in the lobby and the wait line at the end of the day they would have to reschedule appointments because they "were short-staffed." One gentleman in the front row had already been there for FOUR HOURS WAITING. So even if they weren't squeezing me for money, they would've reschedule anyways. Why accept appointments when you know you can't fulfill patient needs? Why not call people to warn them not to come in versus wasting their time? Place is an assembly line to "get 'em in, get 'em out" for quick money making. Was warned this place was a scam. Now I see why. Sharing this on all review platforms. read more

Do not go to this dental office unless you want a deep root cleaning. I have a friend who used a coupon found in the SunLakes Lifestyles magazine for an exam and cleaning. The dentist recommened a deep root cleaing, he wanted just a regular cleaning but the dental office would not do it. He paid for just an exam! I had an appoinment and had sent in my Xrays. I phoned to ask if I could get a regular cleaning even if the doctor recommended deep root cleaning. I was told the doctor would not answer that question until AFTER an exam. This means that I would waste my SCAN insurance coverage for an exam if the doctor would not do a regular cleaning. Dentists have to businessmen since not all people have insurance. I went to Western Dental and they were rude and on top of that refused to pull my tooth without me paying $782 for a bone graft. I came to Dental Works today and had a complete exam done. The dentist (Dr. O) is very nice and explains everything you need to hear. And on top of this they will pull my tooth without a bone graft being put in which is what I wanted to do. DentalWorks was supposed to return my $1,050 die to charging me and also my Delta Dental Ins. By Nov 7th, this was not done. Also had to take partial back due to front teeth falling out of partial. Tooth was put back in crooked. Dental Works has not return my money. I am 74 years and on low income. Why won't Denta Wors homer the orders of Delta Denta and WellCare? Saying to retire my money? I came here with fear of the negative reviews but I don't have any negative reviews. The office staff is nice, the dentist is nice, and always checks in to make sure I'm okay. I have extreme dental anxiety but I'll continue coming here. He lets me prioritize my mouth and want I want done first. If you're like me, and terrified of the dentist, you can do it! And this dentist is nice so y'all can do it. :) Each appointment I show up 30 mins early and get seen early. The process from numbing to the actual procedure is quick. I've been to dentists in the past that make me wait an hour to be called back and over 40 mins to come back after numbing. This is not the case here. The dentist has also asked if I would be okay with doing extra work after he completes what I'm there for. Which is great for me! I had my top two wisdom teeth extracted and the entire process took 9 minutes. Each tooth took about 2 mins and I felt absolutely nothing. I hardly felt pressure. For having the extreme anxiety that I do, this was literally SUCH A BREEZE. The one filling I had done took longer than the two removals. I don't dread going to the dentist because of the staff at Dental Works. Corina the hygienist is gentle and has a touch like a butterfly while still doing a very thorough cleaning. Dr O is the best. Not everyone loves the dentist, I get that, but this place is absolutely horrible! The staff can be friendly, when they want to, but that isn't always. They talk about patients behind their backs and make their own hours. They aren't open on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, and sometimes not even on Mondays. And they take weeks off at a time, closing the whole business down. Plus it doesn't help that the place they are at used to be a video store! At 40yrs old I've seen a lot of dentists in my life, unfortunately. And unfortunately this place falls in a long line of dentists I'll never see again. I'll start off by saying Dr. Miller is an ok dentist, but he's not interested in you. He's just interested in turning out as many patients as he can and then going home. Not to mention this place closes down for random 2 week periods so the doc can take lots of vacations...$$$$ Very recently I started having a bad toothache and my gums started to swell so....obviously I needed a antibiotic. I went in on a Mon thinking as an emergency they would get me in or the doc would just give me a prescription. They made me fill out new forms because it had been 14 months since I'd been in. Then I sat there for two hours...and finally had enough. I went to the counter and tried to reason with them...bad idea. The girl behind the counter said,"sir, we are pretty busy and these people had appointments". I said,"lady, I've been sitting here for two hours to be squeezed in" that's why it's an emergency visit! The dentist at Dental Works, Dr. Manuel Ohannessian, is grossly incompetent with implants. My crown became loose shortly after it was placed. Dr. O attempted to remove the crown forcibly from the implant. I endured horrible pains and later the crown broke off from the implant. read more

The dentist started from scratch h see a year ago with my husband . His poor teeth needed a bottom denture so we went with their "treatment plan" and we bought a full set. It has been under a year and the bottom broke. The dentist wanted us to pay out of pocket to fix the denture when they were still under warranty.. horrible horrible !! They ended up making it right and replacing it, but not without a huge fight! Wouldn't recommend!!! So when I was looking for a dentist we have 2 insurances and they said, "of coarse we take both and whatever one insurance does t pay, usually the 2nd will cover the costs". Aw we assigned ourselves to this office and "walla" it's a different story now, they make you choose which insurance you will work with, never both! Frauds!! I have yet to find d a dentist that ISNT A FRAUD AND A COMPLETE JOKE!!! I also noticed a 1/2 a bag of empty IV saline used for conscious sedation ... just sitting there .. looked like it was used by someone else and it was set up to be used again.. that's disgusting !!! read more

This place is a scam. They told me that I had 8 cavities, I went along with it because what would I know? I'm not a dentist. They filled in my cavities, but that experience was horrible as well. The dentist numbed me and started doing the procedure an hour after they numbed me! You can imagine the pain that I was in, but since I was too afraid to speak up, I didn't say anything at all. I have also heard other stories from friends about their experience at this dentist and how horrible it was. They also believe that this place lies for money. The wait is also horrible. Like I mentioned before, I WAITED AN HOUR AFTER THEY NUMBED ME TO START MY PROCEDURE. This place is a horrible and money hungry place to go. I have insurance and they demanded that I submit to their "deep tissue cleaning" procedures. When I refused they told me point blank that they did not want to see me again. While I was in the waiting room I overheard them telling one very elderly patient with a cane that a crown would cost $4000. She told them that their ad had mentioned that it was $1000. They told her that price was for the crown only, and not for the abutment, etc. She complained that it was false advertising. My cleaning was done on Monday. On Friday "surprise" one of my crowns had "fallen out". I immediately called another dentist, John Choe on Ramsey in Banning, to see what their price would be to re-cement the crown. They charged me $95. I know for a certainty that the person who did the cleaning also loosened the crown so that it would come off. I know that had I gone back to them I would have been told that I would need additional services costing thousands of dollars. I was sent here by Delta Dental, had a crown that needed to be replaced, I was left sitting in the waiting room for 45 min, I finally asked what was going on, they finally took me back to take an x ray, my estimate after insurance was $2725. I finally decided to go back to my old dentist in Temecula and pay full price, so happy I did. There is no customer service here, No one should be left sitting that long. read more

The office staff is friendly and helpful. The techs are all fast and efficient. The doctor.... He is not friendly at all, rushed through seeing you after the tech cleans your teeth. I have good coverage but of course when you get to the counter to get a price you find out that thy don't cover anything. I needed to get a crown and they said it would be $1200, but I was told that they were having a "special" and I could get it done and financed for $800. They also tried to tell me that I needed a deep cleaning and some kind of antibiotic wash cause my gum line was decreasing. This was all new cause a couple years ago they were checking for this stuff or trying to upsale you to buy more services. My family has been going to them for many years. And ever since they switched dentists. They have become all about the money. They don't care about the customers just our wallets. They charged me an amount for my son's tooth and I paid it, but then they said that the insurance wouldn't cover the difference because they made a mistake with the age required, and now I had to pay an amount that I was never showed in the first place. I told them no I paid what I was told and we agreed to. Why would I agree to pay an amount they never even mentioned. Now they won't see him until I pay for their mistake. That is a very shady way to do buisneses. Plus they told me all this at his appointment, he broke a crown that they did, and I paid full price for because he wasn't 12 yet. If I could give them 0 stars I would. This was the worst dentist I had ever been to in my life. I had an appointment for a filling set up for months prior because of Covid, then 2 days before my appointment they opened and one of my other teeth was causing my extreme pain. I had been in once before the Covid hit and they had done a cleaning and all went well, so I thought I had nothing to worry about. The only iffy part was that they wanted to do a deep cleaning. They didn't figure I had a brain. I immediately called my old dentist where I had lived just a couple of months before and asked them and they said, absolutely not, it was a very expensive procedure and unnecessary. I thought how fortunate that I had this appointment as the filling could wait. They immediately told me I needed a root canal. I guess I should have read the signs when they told me I needed to pay for the entire thing up front. My past dentist always did what ever the procedure was and waited for my insurance to pay their portion and then I would get billed for my amount. They insisted even though they accepted my insurance. Almost immediately things went bad. My tooth would not numb up, so I went through most of the procedure in a lot of pain. Even though I told the doctor. Apparently they only did half the procedure and said I would have to come back for the temporary crown in a few weeks. Meanwhile they put some type of cement to cover the hole. When I returned, they did some more drilling and put on the temporary crown. Which not only fell off three times, it cracked and was cutting my tongue severely. I actually had to go to a dentist over the weekend and had to have them make me a new temporary crown for which I paid $156 out of pocket. Oh, BTW, they told me the tooth itself was infected and they put me on two different antibiotics to which I had severe and awful side effect. Finally, after gutting it out, I figured the pain would stop. Having been a Nurse for a very long time,I figured once the infection cleared up, the pain would stop. You'd think so, but NO. Shortly afterwards they put my permanent crown on. The pain only intensified. Eventually, I went to see another dentist who gently tapped on that tooth and after almost flying off the chair, he recommended an Endodontist. Finally I was able to go and after taking a much clearer X-Ray, this doctor was able to tell me, the only was to stop the pain was to pull the tooth and clean out all the extra filling that they had infiltrated into my jaw. I have not been able to sleep, eat or live a normal life because of the excruciating pain I have been in because this "dentist" screwed up what should have been a simple procedure, I had a root canal done at my old dentist. It was a two step procedure. No muss, no fuss and especially no pain. They used up almost all my insurance and now I have to pay thousands of dollars to fix the damage he caused me.I would not recommend anyone go to this practice. Now I need my X-Rays, and although any other dentist I have been to has been happy to email them to my new dentist, when I called the office, they said I would need to come in and pay them $25 . Nothing matters to these people except your money. If you have been here and are happy, I wish you continued luck. That has not been my experience. read more

I went here to have some x-rays and a cleaning done. They told me that I had a root fracture and would need to have the tooth removed and a dental implant done. The final price came out to 4,000$ !!!! So I decided to get a second opinion and of course the other DDS told me that there was no reason the tooth needed to be removed. The other reviews are spot on, this DDS only cares about making money. The second DDS I spoke to has had patients come to him after getting work done by DR. Miller. And as for the 5 star rating by the other poster, it couldn't be more obvious that they have some sort of affiliation with Dental Works. I will be filing a complaint with the State Dental Board and I'm sure I won't be the only one. read more

This used to be a really great dentist office, the staff and Dr Miller were caring and considerate. Now it seems to be all about the money. If you go here plan on wasting half your day. They never see you on time, the last two times I've been here it's been at least an hour past my appointment time before I get called back. And then they leave you sitting in the back forever and when Dr Miller finally sees you he rushes through the visit. Dirty office, Rude staff, and incompitent doctor. Perhaps others have had a better impression. This was mine. Perhaps it would be best to start at the end and work back. The doctor that examined my mouth said it looked fine. I explained I was having pain in one of my teeth. He took another look and told me "I guess you could have a cavity in there. We'll schedule you for another appointment." As he was examining my mouth I got a full facial of his chest hair in my face because he wasnt wearing an undershirt. When I was leaned back in the chair I saw an army of dead bugs in the lights in the celing. The office felt slapped together and cheap. The staff seemed put off that I was a new patient and had to fill out a medical question slip.
