From the moment I walked in the door I felt cared for and in good hands. Helen the receptionist is extremely helpful and overall Just a lovely person. Any appointments arranged were simple and often Helen would call be back to fit me in at a time even more convenient. Dr.Cahill himself was very thorough and explained the whole process in an easy and stress free way. I felt he really took his time to give me the right treatment and felt listened to. The dental nurse (whos name I did not catch) was also very lovely constantly checking I was ok and providing outstanding care. I would highly recommend anyone to use Dr.Cahill for any dental related procedures or check ups as I have never received medical care like it before. thanks to everyone at Dr.Cahill's !!

He was rude & condescending towards me, bordering on contemptuous, when I couldn't bite down with my front teeth aligning with the bottom teeth (I have an overbite which made it impossible.) Also I didn't like that he kept touching my belly during the x-ray to get me to stand up straighter as I hadn't given him permission to touch me there and he didn't ask. I left feeling disrespected. I called the office afterwards to give feedback about it, and his receptionist said he was not available to receive it. My advice is, find a nicer dentist.

Only after I had contacted DealRush to request my money back someone called me with an appointment. Not a good start. On the day I arrived and didn't have to wait long to be seen. After the quickest exam ever, the dentist tried to sell me several 'cosmetic procedures' involving crowns or veneers before moving on to the cleaning. I was happy with the cleaning and although the offer of 50% off crowns until Christmas is certainly a good one, hard sale techniques usually have the opposite effect on me. The dentist is Hungarian and gets her supplies directly from Hungary so she can pass the savings on to the clients.

The dentist did not asked me one single question did just scale few teeth and when I in shock asked about the only 10min consultation ...the dentist told me she could not do anything else. Felt completly desrespected as a customer. At the reception I checked again the information on my voucher and asked the recepcionista about the destista fast speed service...she explains that the consultation normally takes 35min but if the dentist was happy with the 10min. That s all. Left the place completly in shock. My money has been refunded by Groupon after I report the situation. Never again

He is one of the best, if not the best dentist I ever visited. Explains well, made a crystal clear treatment plan. Maybe not the cheapest (clear pricelist on their site) , but definitely worth it for the quality and expertise they provide.

As a long term sufferer of TMJ, I am well used to encountering dentists that fail to understand the complexities of this condition mainly due to the fact that it is a grey area between the medical and the dental professions. Not so with Dr. Barry, not only does he have a working knowledge of TMJ, he also has a sympathetic ear and I found him to be very thorough. After being correctly provided with a pan-oral x ray, Dr. Barry did his utmost to get to the root of the problem (no pun intended) and after a detailed explanation of the images, it was found that the pain was most probably a result of my TMJ. I have since recommended friends and clients to Docklands Dental and all have agreed that they do indeed offer the 'Next Generation Care' they endorse.

After much procrastination, I decided to give in to both vanity and oral health and search around for a dentist. Such a search, as you likely know, is frustrating. Often, people will remark a dentist is good based on the experience at the routine exam or dental cleaning. I'd wager even a sadistic hack could perform a good dental cleaning, so such recommendations were irrelevant to me. More to the point, I didn't want to be pressured to embark on a dental tourist expedition. Being tempted with the thought of half-priced crowns, root-canals, and the like. No, I wanted to stay where my medical malpractice hammer is most effective. Phoenix Dental is a very clean and friendly establishment. The equipment appears to be quite modern. There's no dried blood on the walls or the ceiling and the staff are quite pleasant. I've visited this establishment four times in the past five weeks. While the procedure I'm embarking upon is mildly painful, it's tolerable to do two procedures per week. My first session was nice. The x-rays and examination was free. We went over a plan on what I wanted done and what was needed to be done. It was affordable and spread out throughout the year, so the economic bite does not hurt as bad. They put glasses on your face so bits of bone, chemical, and blood don't fly into your eyes, which are aimed at the ceiling where there's a flat screen television tuned in to music videos. The price of the procedures is fairly standard for Ireland. Not the cheapest, but definitely not the most dear. More importantly, the quality seems to be sound. A dentist in the west recommended the doctor here, as did a city centre surgeon who would of seen previous work from the doctors at this clinic. You can't get much better a referral than that!
