Meeting Dr. Behdad and her team was surprisingly delightful! I mean, when was the last time anyone said going to the dentist was actually fun? Especially for someone like me who usually hides at the sight of needles and drills. So, after I broke a front tooth during a rugby game, I scoured the area for a decent dentist and stumbled upon Dr. Behdad's glowing reviews. Let me tell you, the hype is real! Dr. Behdad took her time explaining all my options in detail. She's not only a pro at what she does but also incredibly personable--like chatting with an old friend who happens to be a dental genius. Her office? Spotless, bright, and with a team so friendly they could make a root canal feel like a spa day. Now, I'm not one to praise needles, but Dr. Behdad's needle skills are ninja-level. I swear, I barely flinched! This was just my first visit, and my procedure is not complete but I have full confidence in the final result. I shall definitely be going back with any future dental issues. Professional, dedicated, charming--Dr. Behdad and her team are the real deal. Thanks a million, Doc! read more

I came in not feeling my best and the whole team handled it with respect. The front desk was quick to check me in and the nurse who brought me in asked useful questions. The doctor was detailed in their approach and took time to explain the steps they were taking to understand what was going on. They didn't just nod and move on but asked follow up questions that showed they were paying attention. I walked out feeling more informed and a bit more at ease. read more

Dr Behdad is an angel! Very efficient, very knowledgeable and makes sure you're taken care of. She is very honest as well and let you know straight up if there's something out of her scope that she can't do. She and the staff go above and beyond at all times, making going to the dentist less stressful and difficult read more

Dr. Behdad and her staff always make me feel comfortable and welcome. You never feel rushed. It feels like home. I have been in many dentist offices throughout my life, but since the first time that I came to this place, it felt like visiting friends. She followed up with me after some procedures. She really cares. read more

Have you ever loved a dentist? Before Dr. Behdad, I had not. I didn't hate my dentists, they were fine. Efficient, stern regarding flossing, always pushed extra X-rays, fine. But I LOVE Dr. Behdad. She replaced my normal SF dentist while that dentist was on maternity leave and she was so lovely. I have really sensitive gums that bleed and instead of being aggressive with me on how much of a failure I was, she was extra gentle and understanding. I'm not someone that gets nervous with appointments, but you can tell she's well prepared for anxious patients. She explains everything, doesn't overprescribe extra images, and does the cleaning herself. Plus, she's funny and interesting! She's called me after a few visits to make sure everything felt okay - that level of care just floored me. I have started driving down to Mountain View from the city and my partner also sees her now too. She's done fillings, cleanings, and is starting his invisilign soon. She's been really great with covid precautions as well. I really can't say enough good things about her! read more

I recently visited Dr. Behdad's office for a routine check-up and a cleaning. As soon as I walked in the office her staff made me feel comfortable and welcome. I was pleasantly surprised that I was not rushed at any time. Since this was my first visit, Dr. Behdad and staff took the time to understand any concerns and or issues that I might have with my dental health. I left the office feeling extremely comfortable with the entire staff. I found my new dental office, which I will be recommending. read more

I love this place! My husband and I've been patients of Dr.Behdada for about two years, and we always have a great experience everyone there makes you feel welcomed.  I have had a good amount of dental work completed there, and with each visit, Dr. Behdad put me at ease by making sure that I am comfortable and pain-free. read more

I actually went to this practice several years ago when they had first opened. The office was nice and Dr. Behdad and her staff were friendly and the equipment was top notch (she was able to show me my cavities on a monitor). However, I am self pay and felt she was a bit pushy with aesthetic treatment. I have a small chip on my front tooth that has been there at least 25 years and she was the only dentist I've seen who wanted to fill it. Even after I said I was not interested she mentioned it again and made sure to include it in my estimate for fillings. This made me feel like she really wanted the money and if she hadn't shown me the pictures on the monitor I probably would have sought a second opinion for the the other fillings. I ended up needing a few fillings and the self pay price was exorbitant. Since the office was new when I came I had been able to purchase a discount voucher for two cleanings. When I left my first appointment I made my next appointment for six months later. When I came back (after having paid more than $800 for fillings, mind you), they acted like they were doing me a favor by accepting my voucher and then the dentist literally spent less than 15 minutes cleaning my teeth. Several years later I still have a bad taste in my mouth about this experience! read more

Dr Bahared Behdad is an exceptional dentist and she and her team are fabulous. Cannot recommend her enough. I see her every 6 months for a cleaning, and she's also fitted me for a mouth guard to prevent grinding at night, as well as fillings for my receding gums which helped tremendously with my sensitive teeth. She even handled an emergency situation for my husband when he chipped his tooth (don't ask!) and now he's a happy routine patient. She's wonderful and will continue to go to her forever! read more

I actually have another dentist, but one day my crown broke and my regular dentist office was closed. Dr. Behdad was the on-call dentist; therefore, I called Dental Square. I am very happy with my new crown and the work they did on my tooth. I highly suggest that you give Dr. Behdad and her staff a chance because they are amazing. It is obvious that they care and do a very thorough job. I left extremely satisfied on both visits. Professional , caring , great atmosphere, awesome staff, and nice facility. read more

Dr Behdad and staff are great. Very professional and friendly and they will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and comfortable and get the best service. I did a crown with Dr Behdad and I am very happy with results. I live in East Bay and she is the only reason I drive all the way from Oakland to Mountain View! That's how good she is! read more

Dr Behdad is the best possible dentist, thoroughly deserving of the other glowing reviews I'm delighted to see here. She couldn't be more friendly, caring, and skillful. And her assistants are top notch. Today I enjoyed the warmest of visits with Lupe who likes to be called the more amusing Loopie. These wonderful ladies make an appointment something to anticipate for the happy occasions they are. Dental Square deserves the highest possible recommendation. Thank you, ladies! read more

Love dental square! Appointments and reception: Super nice and helpful. Will call to remind you if your appointment is coming up. Insurance: Will work with you to make sure you get the most out of your insurance --- Cleaning reminders and checking if things are covered. Doctor: Very patient. Will explain what is happening and why certain procedures are necessary. It really helps to understand what's going on when you're nervous about going to the dentist already. I've had basic cleaning, deep cleaning, filling up cavities, root canals, and crowns done here (sad me). One of the crowns was for my front teeth and she took great care to make sure color, shape, and even the little ridges are similar to my other front teeth. She will also make sure previous procedures are still functioning well when you come back for your regular check-ups. read more

Read the other one star reviews... this dentist is the most incompetent dentist I have ever experienced. Rude, impatient and disrespectful as well. She chipped my tooth while cleaning. Didn't explain why I needed over 15k worth of dental work, and failed to answer my questions, mostly just shrugged them off. Worst experience ever. I'm doing to a second dentist just to get a decent examination. Of all my negative reviews of businesses, she world win worst Yelp experience. She might lie and say I'm not a patient, but why risk your teeth? read more

Dr. Behdad and her team are fantastic. I am never pushed into a direction I'm not comfortable with, and I never leave without my questions completely answered. Her staff are fantastic. I've never had someone so thoroughly and clearly explain to me insurance and cost issues- no surprise. I have since moved farther away from Dr. Behdad's office, but I still make it out to her because her outfit is just that good. read more

Un professional staff & doctor. Horrible customer service . Came in and was treated horrible by doctor

Dr Behdad and her office staff are excellent. I have been a patient of his for the past few years. I found her by chance after doing a zocdoc search for dentists close to Los Altos. I still go to her even though I've now moved to San Francisco. She is friendly and has superb bedside manner (which is something I pay attention to since I am a physician myself). I appreciate that she listens to my concerns and does not push or oversell procedures (unlike my previous dentist). I needed some crowns and fillings which I postponed for a long time and Dr Behdad took care of them for me and the crowns look so natural that I keep forgetting which tooth is my original tooth and which one is the crowns that she placed. Dr Behdad dental equipment/facilities are clean and modern and all up to date. Now my partner started going to Dr Behdad office and she is very pleased with their level of service as well. we both plan to stick with her for as long as we live in Bay area. My partner is starting invisalign with Dr Behdad and she is super excited about that! Bottom line, I would highly recommend and truly she is the BEST dentist! read more

Dr Behdad, Lisa and Marina are an amazing team! I was referred to Dr Behdad by my colleague when I was suffering from a really bad toothache and the doctor was able to quickly reduce the pain. The root canal treatment that followed was painless and comfortable. Lisa has also been very helpful with getting all the insurance details resolved. I absolutely recommend Dr Behdad's practice and I'll be visiting more often for regular checkups! read more

Dr. Behdad is simply AMAZING! I've been looking for a dentist I can trust and feel comfortable with for awhile now. I found her on Yelp with positive review. She's new to the Mountain View area so I decided to give it a try. I used their website to schedule an appointment as a new patient and everything was easy. I very much enjoyed my first visit to Dr. Behdad's office. Her staff is very pleasant and they combine professionalism with genuine concern for the patient. During my first appointment, I got the unfortunate news that I needed some fillings. Dr. Behdad was very patience and explained the effected areas on the X-ray as I was a bit hesitant. She also showed me another area that she suggested we keep an eye on but didn't need any work at the moment. She gained my trust and I just got a sense of peace. I had zero pain during and after the procedure. I literally walked out of the office and went on with my day as if nothing happened. I'm so thankful and feel so lucky to have found Dr. Behdad! I will recommend her to anyone in need of a great dentist! read more

She is a meticulous dentist who spends considerable time fixing the problems that we might even overlook ourselves. She's a perfectionist and does not leave your teeth alone until she's happy with the result which is a very high bar already. She's also caring and takes time to assure the comfort of the patient. read more

Dr Behdad is a very caring dentist. She explained everything to me before every procedure. She did a perfect job with my filling. I was very satisfied with the way she treated me both personally and professionally. read more

Dental Square is a wonderful place to receive dental care. I am a new dentist myself and needed dental care (exams, radiographs, cleanings, and nightguard) while completing my residency over the past year. I can attest to Dr. Behdad's very caring and friendly personality, as well as her gentle touch and skillful dentistry. She does comfortable and thorough dental cleanings, and made sure to accommodate me with adjustments for my nightguard. Gia is also very personable, professional, organized, and easy to communicate with. The office is bright, clean, easy to find, has ample parking, and has openings on Saturdays. Everything is a win! I highly recommend treating you and your family to quality dental care at Dental Square. read more

Going to dental square to see Dr. Behdad and all her crew is such an pleasant dental experience. One thing that I appreciate the most about Dr. Behdad is her skills and knowledge in dentistry. Not only does she hold a high level of professionalism, Dr. Behdad is always willing to explain the procedures that she is performing, which makes me really comfortable and confident about the treatments I am receiving. One other important factor that I really like about Dr. Behad and her crew is that they are really considerate on your plans and goals. Dental treatments sometimes can be expensive, but Dr. Behdad and her crew are always willing to work with me on prioritizing my goals and craft the best plans that fit my current situation. This is a huge plus comparing to some other dental practitioners that sometimes can seem too eager to up-sell a treatment that probably isn't most relevant or effective to patient's situation. Really happy I discover Dr. Behdad's great practice! :) read more

Dr. Behdad and Lisa are excellent, friendly professionals! Lisa took extensive x-rays with gentleness and consideration--putting those sensors in your mouth is never pleasant, but Lisa took the time to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Dr. Behdad herself did the majority of the cleaning, which I've never experienced at any dental practice before! She's very good at what she does, and very patiently explained everything she did, and even cheerfully fielded my broad questions about dental health. I have now been to see Dr. Behdad three times: once for a cleaning, once for a filling, and a final time for a follow-up appointment, quickly scheduled by Lisa. Dr. Behdad is very careful and skillful, and my first-ever fillings didn't hurt at all! This is a wonderful dental practice, and I'd happily recommend it to everyone. read more

I am always nervous about going to the dentist. I heard about Dental Square through my friends and decided to try them out. Dental square office was a spacious and welcoming environment. I really liked the fact that most of their rooms have a window. At my previous dentist's office, I felt like I am in a basement. No windows, only hospital like white light, ... The staff was authentic, competent and friendly. Making appointment was easy, I left a VM and they called me back right away and they were able to accommodate my schedule. Dr Behdad is by far the best dentist that I have had. She has gentle touch and collaborative, long term approach to dental health. She first explained to me different issues that we had to address and went over what we needed to do in that session and what we needed to plan in the future. For the first time I could actually understand exactly what's going on and what could be coming next. Lots of XRays, actual photos of the tooth, ... I have also had bad experiences in the past dealing with insurance and paper work. I was pleased that they quickly figured out my insurance and handled all the paperworks. I like gadgets and new technologies. So I really liked some of the new gadgets she has and some of the procedures were way less painful than what I am used to (either because of her skills or the latest generation of equipments or both) The only issue I had was finding their office but I think they were in the middle of a signage change today. In case if you couldn't find it, its second floor on the left. Going to dentist is always scary, Dental Square and Dr Behdad made it as tolerable as it could be for me. I am glad I have found a new dentist for my family. Thank you Dental Square. read more

Dr Behdad and her staff are simply amazing! I have recommended her to many of my friends/family members and will recommend her to anyone living in the bay area! I had been scared of going to the dentist's office my entire life, because I take a very long time and many injections to get completely numb and most of the time despite telling my problem to other dentists, I still had to tolerate the excruciating pain under the drill. But Dr Behdad has changed that completely. She was sensitive to my pain and took the necessary care and steps to make me numb before starting the work (which might be 1-1:30 hours every time). Evey piece of work she has completed on my teeth has come out perfect: fillings, crowns, cleaning. She is the best dentist I've known: meticulous, friendly, caring and overall very professional. When I showed my crowns to my wife, she wouldn't believe it is not my real tooth anymore! I look forward to my appointments with her every time! I recommended her to my family and my wife, my sister in law and her husband all go to her office! read more

The ladies of Dental Square, Dr. Behdad, Marina, and Gia are so amazing! Going to the dentist is not something I enjoy, but they all make me feel so comfortable and make sure I know exactly what is going on and being used. They are also not judgy when it comes to how you may or may not be taking care of your teeth like I have noticed some dentist offices often do. The office also is cute and cozy! The office is smaller and I think that makes for a much more personable experience-- the whole team is focused on getting you taken care of in the best way possible. Would definitely recommend! read more

I am so happy that a friend recommended Dental Square to me and my sister. Dr. Behdad and her team are professional, friendly, and caring. I broke a crown and I was so worried to find a dentist to take care of my tooth during pandemic. I contacted her and she saw me the same day. She was honest regarding extend of my problem and explained my options. She referred me to an oral surgeon on the same day to have an implant. I got my implant's crown yesterday, and I love the look. I had several dentist in the past and I can attest that Dr. Behdad and her team are one of the best! read more

Dr. Behdad and her staff are amazing! My husband referred me here and I have to say she's the best dentist I've ever been to! I came in the first time for a cleaning and she noticed that I had two teeth with large fillings that would be better off with crowns to protect my teeth so we decided to move forward with that plan. My subsequent visits have been very smooth and she always explains in detail what she's about to do so there are no surprises. She's a big foodie too and since I'm new to the Bay Area, she's given me tons of suggestions to restaurants, bakeries, etc. The toughest part about moving to a new city is having to re-establish your routine and find all new doctors, dentists, etc. I'm so glad hubby did all the leg work to find Dr. Behdad! read more

I was always scared to go to dentist. The last time I went to dentist was many years before. My colleague had visited Dr.Behdad's office before and she was the one who had told me about Dr.Behdad. Finally I made a decision of visiting her office because I have few cavities and it was getting worse. I visited her office for the first time a week before. I shared all my concerns+ I told Dr.Behdad how much I was scared of dental work. She was super sweet. She started working on my teeth so gently and she was asking "are you ok" while she was doing my deep cleaning. I did not feel any pain. Just today she did my first filling and temporary filling she has put feels super comfortable. Dr.Behdad even did follow up with me after our appointment to make sure im feeling ok and I have no pain/discomfort. Her assistant Marina is really good as well. I don't like writing reviews. But I really wanted to share my opinion so other people know as well. Because I know how stressful it can be to find a good doctor. read more

My 11-year-old daughter is still commenting on her 'smooth' feeling teeth even after 3 days! Dr. Behdad did an amazing job of cleaning and explaining to us in detail [no rush] about what was going on with her teeth and her recommendations. My daughter was also happy with the way both Dr. Behdad and her assistant Lisa spoke with her directly about her teeth concerns. They are both super sweet and genuinely seem to care and took a lot of time to discuss her extracurricular activities and interests. Finally, my daughter loved the yellow chairs-not only cool looking but very comfortable! We found the office to have the latest equipment and was very clean and modern. We are looking forward to our next visit :-) read more
