I sat down in the chair in tears. I saw two dentists here in Playa del Carmen and one in Cancun and I was on 5 rounds of antibiotics and they did 6 (yes, 6) treatments on a fractured molar where it got even more fractured. I was in excruciating pain. I researched this clinic and all the doctors here. Even though they have great reviews, I hope anyone that can read this will appreciate the traumas I have been through and how sick I was feeling. Dr Esteban calmly explained what was going on and decided to go on this journey of healing, I knew I lost my molar and it needed to be extracted. I had a panic attack just before, he got a blanket for me and he was so gentle and calm and put me at ease. Molar was extracted, which followed 2 weeks of pain, infection and more antibiotics, I really thought I would never feel great ever again. But I did. After two weeks of no eating, I needed more work done... in a matter of a month, I had a tooth extraction, bone grafting, cleaning, one endodontic procedure, fillers... I wanted to wait a little before I wrote this review because today, I am smiling, I have zero pain, my gums are healthy again, I can smile and I am just so blessed and grateful for you guys! I look forward to continuing my journey (I want to get braces, fix more cavities, get an implant) and I finally feel I am in great hands. I was only in Playa del Carmen for two days, and he was incredibly flexible--after evaluation, he even arranged a driver for my CT scan and had me back in no time. His pricing was clear and fair, and he stuck to his word--no hidden fees, no surprises, which made the whole experience even better. He made a dental impression for a crown and told me to return in just a couple of hours--unbelievable compared to the weeks it takes back in the U.S.! He kindly showed me the laser dental machine that created a precise 3D model --it looked like that "Leeloo's DNA rebuild machine" straight out of sci fi movie The Fifth Element! It was the only time I've had a crown placed with ZERO adjustments needed. My feeling is that our assigned dentist (used to be a "body piercing artist") has a lot of potential, BUT does not have the experience to be doing anything more than cleanings at this point. We had an impossible time following up and making plans/arrangements for repair of previous work done via phone. We were never able to reach anyone via phone to make a plan for repair. We showed up in person and had a difficult time communicating with staff regarding the issue with previous work done. End result: Partially our fault for not being fluently bi-bilingual... Previous work (fillings and chip repair) was a temporary fix and did not last 6 months *sadness* Lesson learned. When it matters, just spend the money and get dental done right the first time in the U.S.A. They clearly have lessor standards of quality and experience requirements here in Mexico *sad face*

We were…read moregiven the wrong address...I was late for the appt but made it eventually...I don't speak Spanish so had to ask several other dentists close to Mega store where this was exactly... Then I show up and the Dentist, Perla Roche, who speaks good English...did not show up for the appointment, did not call but instead had a newer young male Dentist cover for her...who did not speak English (nor did the assistant)... and proceeded to clean my teeth, roughly for 10 minutes, no inspection, no flossing...and painful. Not adequate! I was promised digital dental xrays and this office was over priced to begin with...but they do not have the machine and did not include it in the price. The xray clinic was almost closed by the time I finished talking to Dr. Roche...at first she told the assistant she was not available. I persisted and she finally came on the phone. She offered to have the new dentist redo my cleaning and I refused! She then said she would not charge me. I left ...much delayed and disappointed and painful gums. The next day this dentist, calls my hotel to complain I that I left without paying...she told me directly I would not be charged. I do not recommend this business. SOTADental referred me to Neo Dental clinic supposedly to number one dentist in Cancun sometime in…read moreNovember of 2022. Dr. Miller. According to my experiences he is not even number one dental technician!! The first part of my dental care was a success because surgery performed by incredibly qualified surgeon Dr. Omar Lugo, who actually performed my entire implant surgery and ensured painless recovery and healing process, which was monitored by my local dentist as well. But unfortunately Neo Dental so called #1 dentist took out one of my perfectly fine implant for his own convenience so he can finish quickly and hop on to the next patient!. Upon checking the scan Dr Miler him self confirmed everything was integrated properly. But unfortunately when it was time to work on that implant I received a message that my appointment has to be rescheduled and that I have to stay in Cancun for another two weeks because they didn't have an abutment for that implant (proof on file). (There was plenty time to order that before I returned). But...it wasn't. I had to extend my stay because of that and after my husband went home Dr. Miller told me he will manage to finish my treatment sooner so I don't have to stay too long. To make that happen he personally picked me up the next day and worked on my implant that he didn't have abutment for. At some point he called to his assistant for extra Anastasia and soon after I was done. He the went outside and made a phone call and when he returned he set down and said; "here is your implant, it failed". I was speechless. To make things worse I still ended up staying two more weeks and even after second attempt my teeth wasn't made any better than a horse shoe. To fix my problem contacted Dr Omar as I figured he would be the most appropriate one to contact I was fortunate to arrange that and went to see Dr. Omar on October 1st, 2023. I am happy to say that he was able to fix the issues created by Neo Dental clinic which involved tightening and replacing some abutments, correcting my bite, aligning my teeth and giving me new set of beautiful set of zirconia teeth that brought my natural smile back. According to SOTA dental owner and Neo Dental this wasn't possible, SOTA Dental owner sees a smoke on the scan and Dr. Miller said I had a such a small mouth. If I had such a small mouth how did he manage to put such a big teeth in such a small mouth? Well, I got news for them with passionate team of professionals like Dr. Omar anything is possible. In response to SOTA owner response to my review. your emails said enough. When it comes to speaking of truth, you and truth are very far apart! Your emails and Millers messages could make a lot more interesting story than your Drs notes. I have a have great smile and fully functional mouth thanks to a Doctor Omar Lugo, you definitely can't take credit for that!! This time around I personally managed my care!!! And don't worry I I got in touch with Dr. Miller and dropped him a few lines as well.

I went to Dentics not because I had heard about it but because the place that I had thought I was going to go to was a zoo. It was overbooked. It was a hot mess and I just happened to pass by and something said, "Go inside." They examined my tooth and basically told me the truth: there was nothing wrong with the tooth. They were able to fill it for an extremely reasonable price and that was the end of it. I haven't had any problems and that was over a year ago so I highly recommend it. I do know they're honest.

But in new branch -Sky Dental Studio where I been delivered in office car , after panoramic x-ray doctors convince me to cut two teeth and install two pins instead of implants . I was strongly disagree but they was pressing me and yelled - We better know. I gave up and get bridge installed . After four month bridge was broken. I went to my dentist in Chicago to recement it . Its broke again and dentist say its so short pins and teeth to keep bridge . I connected to Dentics Cancun and they say- its not there fault and block my phone. So stay away from Dentics and Sky dental in Cancun.
