SOTADental referred me to Neo Dental clinic supposedly to number one dentist in Cancun sometime in November of 2022. Dr. Miller. According to my experiences he is not even number one dental technician!! The first part of my dental care was a success because surgery performed by incredibly qualified surgeon Dr. Omar Lugo, who actually performed my entire implant surgery and ensured painless recovery and healing process, which was monitored by my local dentist as well. But unfortunately Neo Dental so called #1 dentist took out one of my perfectly fine implant for his own convenience so he can finish quickly and hop on to the next patient!. Upon checking the scan Dr Miler him self confirmed everything was integrated properly. But unfortunately when it was time to work on that implant I received a message that my appointment has to be rescheduled and that I have to stay in Cancun for another two weeks because they didn't have an abutment for that implant (proof on file). (There was plenty time to order that before I returned). But...it wasn't. I had to extend my stay because of that and after my husband went home Dr. Miller told me he will manage to finish my treatment sooner so I don't have to stay too long. To make that happen he personally picked me up the next day and worked on my implant that he didn't have abutment for. At some point he called to his assistant for extra Anastasia and soon after I was done. He the went outside and made a phone call and when he returned he set down and said; "here is your implant, it failed". I was speechless. To make things worse I still ended up staying two more weeks and even after second attempt my teeth wasn't made any better than a horse shoe. To fix my problem contacted Dr Omar as I figured he would be the most appropriate one to contact I was fortunate to arrange that and went to see Dr. Omar on October 1st, 2023. I am happy to say that he was able to fix the issues created by Neo Dental clinic which involved tightening and replacing some abutments, correcting my bite, aligning my teeth and giving me new set of beautiful set of zirconia teeth that brought my natural smile back. According to SOTA dental owner and Neo Dental this wasn't possible, SOTA Dental owner sees a smoke on the scan and Dr. Miller said I had a such a small mouth. If I had such a small mouth how did he manage to put such a big teeth in such a small mouth? Well, I got news for them with passionate team of professionals like Dr. Omar anything is possible. In response to SOTA owner response to my review. your emails said enough. When it comes to speaking of truth, you and truth are very far apart! Your emails and Millers messages could make a lot more interesting story than your Drs notes. I have a have great smile and fully functional mouth thanks to a Doctor Omar Lugo, you definitely can't take credit for that!! This time around I personally managed my care!!! And don't worry I I got in touch with Dr. Miller and dropped him a few lines as well. read more

Just returned to Canada after having the first step of an All-on-6 completed at Grace Dental in Los Algodones as arranged through SOTA Dental. While there were a few hiccups when an infection was discovered, Dr. Nestor (my primary DDS) and Dr. Diego did a wonderful job in the first stage (will return in February 2020 for the final). Started out wanting a All-on-4, but as I had enough solid bone, decided to go with 6 implants - plus 2 more in the upper to replace missing teeth - this will complete my new smile. I found both doctors to be very knowledgeable and professional - with great chair side manner and communication. My surgery was two weeks ago and the dissolving stitches are almost all gone. I did not experience as much pain from the surgery as expected and Dr. Diego did a great job making sure the temporary plate fit properly over two sessions following surgery. As a result, no aggravation or unusual sore areas. Hello Folks I feel compelled to offer you my very positive review for SOTA Dental in Cancun. We have just returned from our one week trip from Florida for the purpose of fixing a couple of teeth that had cracked and broken as a result of poor dental treatments received from the US Army many years ago. I got an exam from a recommend dental place in Florida, where I was told that I needed an emergency extraction that he would do right then. Following treatments would be required for implant work. Being on a fixed budget, the cost was going to be beyond my means. I told the Florida doctor that I wanted to think about it and was then charged for x-rays after having been told that the exam was complementary. Ha... I began to research alternatives including medical tourism. 12 years ago, I had stomach surgery done in Mexico and it was remarkably well done. I had confidence that there are great medical professionals to be found in Mexico. I did a lot of research in hopes of finding the very best. Everything I could find pointed to SOTA Dental as being that place. I called and their coordinator, Aleida, clearly guided me through the steps to follow. Aleida is a skilled communicator in English and was able to give me all the information I needed, including the costs. We made our own travel arrangements and chose an economical and clean hotel. It wasn't a real fancy luxury or all-inclusive place, but quite comfortable, cheap, and very safe. Breakfast was included and the palapa restaurant was quite good too. We ate a couple of meals there. Downtown Cancun has lots of good eating places and is only a short, cheap bus ride away from the Hotel Zone. El Poblanos is our personal favorite for Tacos Al Pastor. Inexpensive and fabulous. Aleida had set my first appointment for 5pm on the day we arrived and at their consortium facility called Cosmetica Dental Azuna. She even arranged for a friendly driver to pick us up at the hotel. After a warm reception by Yadira, we were introduced to Dr. Omar Garcia. The facility was spotless and the equipment was all new and impressively modern. Dr. Garcia carefully examined my situation, took x-rays, and after consulting with another specialist, decided that they could actually save the badly broken tooth without the need for extraction and implant. Wow... He then conducted a very extensive and deep cleaning to remove deeply embedded plaque. Totally painlessly, I might add. Nobody has ever done this exceptionally detailed work before. Although personally capable, he called in one of his renowned specialist associates to preform the Root Canal on the problem molar. Dr. Gilberto Galvez came the next morning and expertly did the Root Canal procedure. That particular molar has 4 individual roots within. For 1-1/2 hour, he carefully and painlessly completed the intricate work. The only discomfort is in having your jaw open for an extended period, other than that, nothing. These professionals are at the very top of their game. That same afternoon, Dr. Omar Garcia continued the work. The decision was to insert a gold rod within the Root Canaled molar and finish it with a Crown constructed of the most durable material, Zirconia. The other broken tooth would be prepared for an Overlay, also specially designed and made of Zirconia. Dental preparations were performed, specific mold impressions were taken, and temporary fillings made for my comfort and eating requirements. The mold impressions were sent off to the manufacturing technicians to make the new components. Once again, they took care of my transportation needs going to and from the Clinical facility. Now with two days free, we could comfortably enjoy Cancun and even ferryboat over to Isla Mujeres for inexpensive massages and beautiful beach relaxation. I also should mention that my travel partner decided to have her teeth cleared also. She agreed that this was the best she'd ever had. Dr. Garcia did her work too. He has a great assistant working alongside him. Most all of the cleanings that we've had in the US have been done by hygienists, but here it was by the dentist and at a fraction of US costs. The new Zirconia Crown and Overlay were ready on Friday and Dr. Garcia expertly fitted and permanently attached them. His fitment technique was great and they feel perfect. He did a little bit more touch up cleaning and polishing and I was all done. I couldn't be happier with the total outcome. My travel partner also had a small chip on a front tooth. Dr. Garcia expertly repaired it with some kind of bonding material and she looks great and is thrilled with it. What more can I say? SOTA Dental has been one of the best choices that we have ever made. I most highly recommend that should you require dental procedures of any kind that you contact SOTA and make them your choice too. I have gone without dental insurance for about 11 years and was in dire need of an affordable solution. Many of our friends that had their teeth pulled and got dentures wished they hadn't done this, as it is quite often uncomfortable. So, I began my search for affordable but professional dentistry! This is my first time seeking dental work outside of the United States. I'm soooo glad I did my homework! My husband and I prayed everyday to find just the right place, and we are not disappointed. We found Grace Dental Studio Co. in Los Algodones, Mexico (right across from Yuma, Arizona) through SOTA Dental. I had previously sent my X-Rays, dental charts, and loads of questions to about 15 of the Dentists and Clinics in Los Algodones. I compared prices, references, videos, reviews, and everything I could think of. I needed to get: 3 implants, 3 root canals, numerous crowns, a bone graft, 2 gum lengthenings, an extraction, a temporary bridge, a temporary crown, several fillings, a flipper over the bone graft, and the CT scan. For reassurance, I felt like I needed to talk with a former patient of the Dentist I chose and Grace Dental supplied me with a wonderful guy who was happy to share his total experience with us! Some of the deciding factors for us in choosing Grace Dental were the reviews they have and the recommendation from this reference we talked with! He unquestionably recommended them. The Dentists, Dr. Diego Marquez Rodriguez and his brother, Dr. Nestor Marquez Rodriguez are very professional, experienced, continuing to be educated in the latest techniques in the US and elsewhere. They were born and raised in Yuma, Arizona are totally bilingual. These guys know their stuff, are excellent at what they do (all aspects of Dentistry and Dr. Nestor is an Implant Specialist). Besides their expertise, my husband and I were really very surprised at just how down to earth and personable they are. Each of the Dentists, the entire staff, and the Specialists that were brought in to work on me, really care about their patients! They are Christians and showed their love to me through their gentle touch, dedicated work ethic, and truly go the extra mile to get the job done expertly and with GRACE!!! Haha! But it is true! I guess I cannot say enough good about Grace Dental and the wonderful staff. They work as a great team. Even in the waiting room, many people said their reputation is stellar. They are price-conscious, honest, provide an outstanding result, and are the nicest people around to work with! What we decided to do was to have our lodging in Yuma, each day park at the border ($6/per day in a secure parking lot), and walk across the border to Grace Dental, which is about 2-1/2 blocks away. Highly recommended: Grace Dental Studio, Los Algodones, MX Dr. Nestor Marquez and Dr. Diego Marquez are highly skilled and dedicated dental professionals. Their office (Grace Dental Studio) is part of the Sota Dental Group. In March 2019, I contacted Sota Dental and sent in their online information request. Joshua from Sota Dental called me the same day and said he would send my information to their Los Algodones office. That evening DR. Nestor called me from his cell phone and spent a half hour telling me about All-on-4 dental implants and answering any questions I might have. I was impressed that the surgeon that would be doing my extractions and implants would spend this much time with a prospective client. He also told me that Grace Dental Studio is the only place in Mexico that offer the Crystal Ultra implant denture (manufactured in Phoenix, AZ). After talking to Dr. Nestor and reading about the superiority of the Crystal Ultra, I made an appointment for the All-on-4 surgery for early June 2019. During the 2 months before going to Mexico, I watched all the videos at Sotadental.com and gracedentalstudio.net. Dr. Nestor and his brother Dr. Diego have several videos posted on these sights. I would recommend anyone thinking about using their service, watching the videos is a great source of information. Also during this time I had several email conversations with the Grace Dental Studio staff. When I had a question, I always received a timely response. On June 4, my wife and I flew to Phoenix, rented a car and drove to the USA parking lot, just minutes (walking) to reach their office on the Mexican side of the border. It was very comfortable meeting Dr.s Nestor and Diego, as I felt I already knew them from the video and my phone conversation with Dr. Nestor. On that first appointment, Dr. Nestor did an examination of my mouth, and had a CT Scan done of my upper arch. He took impressions of my upper arch. Dr. Diego then wanted to take some pictures of my mouth so he could design the temporary denture I would have while the implants heal. Dr. Diego does not take his part of the process lightly. He took dozens of pictures from every imaginable angle. He treated the importance of the temporary denture looking and feeling as good as if it were the final product. Finally, Dr. Nestor invited my wife and me to his office to go over the CT scan and answer any and all questions we might have. He is friendly and accommodating, and his passion for quality dentistry was so evident. The next morning: Surgery Day. We arrived at 8:15am. At 8:30, Dr. Nestor took me to the surgery area and they began the IV sedation. Even though I was partially awake during the surgery, the only thing I remember is Dr. Nestor saying that we were done. It was amazing that I didn't have any sense of being drowsy, and that I was unaware that the surgery had even happened. They took another post surgery impression and fitted the temporary denture . My smile very closely resembled my natural teeth smile. Dr. Diego is a genius. Dr. Nestor prescribed some pain pills. During the course of the first day (as the numbness began to wear off), I took one of the pain pills. I took one more before going to bed (even though I had yet to feel any pain from the surgery). The next morning we went back to the dental office and Dr. Nestor did an examination of his work. I had not had any bleeding since early afternoon of the surgery day. He said everything was looking good. He showed me how to reline the temporary denture, which would be needed after the swelling from the surgery subsides. He told me if I had any concerns to call him on his cell phone. We chose not to have the followup appointment on the third day, and returned to our home in Oregon. It has been 2 weeks and I have yet to feel any pain from the surgery and I haven't used any more pain medication since that first 24 hours.
