It was so liberating, enlightening and fun to chat with one another in the reception area. A true definition of divine feminine energy, she is a force to be reckoned with. Behind the pink mask with her big beautiful eyes, Dr. Edith is the sweetest, kind, empathetic fun, caring and loving doctor I've ever met. With a high level of EQ, she knows how to bring things to your attention only because it benefits you. So expect some tough love and scolding even because deep down we know we need it:) I encountered minor inflammation and she attacked the matter like a boss! when your doctor fights with you and for you the last thing you want to do is disappoint her. So upon receiving her instructions and medicine- like a team we extinguished that issue over night. Getting a new smile may mean a new bite a new position. She educated me to the detail and I love her for that. Working with Dr. Edith will be the bulk of your time there. I came into her chair with past trauma, conditioned fear and patterns of reaction to dentistry in general. Yet with time, she helped replaced newer ways of coping my anxiety such as teaching me how to relax my lips and breathing through my nose and etc. These simple and mundane whispers may seem unimportant and unnecessary, however, it built faith and cemented my trust in her more and more. And with trust, I'm able to surrender, let go so relaxation of the body and face can occur thus making it easier for her to work. Consistency transforming into excellence is Dr. Edith. As a little girl, she always knew that she wanted to be dentist...I consider myself very blessed to have her create my smile that I will have for the remaining days of my life. No matter where I go I will say Dr. Edith did this for me. And as she chiseled away to perfect your smile by her high standards, in her flow, at her best self doing what she loves the most, you can hear her and her assistant Elvis sing , an euphoric moment! I got to meet Carlos, the new manager. The tour with you on the last day felt so VIP because I got to ride with you. Learning more about you and the livelihood of native residents was enriching. I checked with several implant specialist in the Austin, Texas area to estimate what it would cost me to get a full mouth reconstruction. You wouldn't want to know. On top of that, they wanted to remove all my existing teeth. I consulted with my primary dentist. She mentioned that I have to find a place that would save what teeth you have left. I did some research and came across Cancun Dental Design. I contacted them was able to speak to their agent, Edgar. He ask if I had recent panoramic x-rays of my teeth. I sent him the x-rays, then I let him know what I want. They sent several rough estimate of what needs to be done. I liked the details they sent back, so I scheduled a visit. He said the x-rays and evaluation are free. On top of that, they pick you up at the airport and drop you off at your hotel. They will pick you up and take you back to your hotel for every appointment you have, free of charge as long as you are at the Hotel Zone. On the day of my x-ray and evaluation, they said there is nothing wrong with my existing ones, as long as I take good care of them but I wanted a full reconstruction because my teeth are crooked and stained and some are missing. They offered me several solutions. I decided on what I wanted and they scheduled me for the next day. The next day I had 2 extractions and 5 implants and a bone graft. I did not feel much pain after surgery, which is really amazing. All I can say is, they have fantastic doctors that go above and beyond. The clinic was very clean and their equipment are high end. Frida, the administrator, was very pleasant to work with, and speaks great english! Carlos and everyone else in the clinic were also very friendly, professional and kind. I would not hesitate to keep coming back to have my dental work done at this clinic. I am going back for the final procedure in 6 months. BTW, don't worry about not being able to enjoy your vacation, because you will. Cancun Dental Design was so incredible!! I was on vacation this week in Cancun and on my very first night of relaxation, I slipped on stairs at my resort resulting in a chipped front tooth. I was terrified!! I definitely thought I'd have to wait to get back to the States for any treatment but that would mean being uncomfortable for the week and no smiling in any vacay pictures! I had 1 root canal done, 5 crowns, plus 4 old crowns removed and 2 fillings. The root canal specialist Dr. Guillermo was phenomenal. My root canaI was quite complicated and I had next to no pain during and after the procedure and he made sure that everything was done right. Everything else was done by Dr. Fernanda who was also very good and patient and got my crowns to fit perfectly. My old dentist in Calgary/Canada had left me with major pain, a dislocated jaw on several occasions and an ill-fitting bite and unwanted metal crowns that needed replacing years before he said they would. After 15 years of frustration my bite finally feels normal again and I have metal-free crowns and no pain after visiting Cancun Dental Design! They also provided a driver to pick me up for all my appointments. And their lab can usually make the crowns within 1 day. Richard in the office and the drivers were also very helpful with everything I needed and everbody was very friendly. Almost everybody I needed to talk to also spoke very good English I only have a couple of minor complaints: There was a mixup about my pickup time one day. Also the fillings could be a little smoother. And give yourself an extra day or two, just in case. The lab which makes the crowns is very busy and sometimes they run a little late. read more

Dr. Nora did a beautiful job with my fillings. She gave my fillings/teeth a more natural look as well. My "highly recommended" dentist in the states just gave me a "pool" of filling, and they didn't last long either. Richard at the front desk speaks excellent English, and can assist with booking, planning, and understanding. They will even transfer you to/from your hotel, and the pickup times were prompt and timely. Not only would I recommend coming to Cancun for your dental because you'll save a ton of money, but because the dental work is actually SUPERIOR. I went CDD in March and had 26 extractions and bone grafts and it was wonderful the whole staff is there every step of the way the dentist even gave me his personal number to call if any problems no dentist in the US would ever do that. Now I came back in July for 10 dental implants and the process was almost painless and what a great surgeon. I was quoted 70000 dollars in Chicago and there was no way to afford it and the dentist there could not give a care but CDD worked with me and came up with a price I could afford and anytime I had a question it was answered in a timely manner if there was a problem it was fixed and I was not charged extra they care about there patients not the money and I am very grateful read more

This was by far the best dental experience I've ever had. I had a total of three implants done and the final product was an implant-supported bridge plus an additional implant and crown. Super happy with the results! Amazing clinic, staff, equipment and technology. Same standards and quality as in the US, if not better.
