My family and I have been with Dental Haven for the last 16 years; from our matriarch and all the way down to our spouses. We all have been under the wings of by Dr Grace, and now her son Dr Angelo as well. This dental team is just more than exceptional, they really go above and beyond to provide the most satisfying and safest care. Dr Grace has done an amazing job with my root canals and fillings, when I was a teenager (I am now 33) ZERO complications! More than a decade or so, the work she did is still standing strong. A couple weeks ago, I got four wisdom teeth extracted by Dr Angelo. He was extremely professional, precise, accommodating, calm, and compassionate. His work is so clean with ZERO complications. The office staff and himself checked in on me during the recovery phase, and I was seen for my recovery check up and I am healing well. Throughout the years, Dental Haven never failed us. We are so happy and thankful to have Dr Grace, Dr Angelo and their staff as our General Dentists and would give them a million STARS! read more

I would not recommend this dental office to anyone. Dr. Grace is a very sweet lady, but her staff is rude and frankly, I don't think they did such a great job. As Dr. Grace for a dentist, I would probably give her a one star out of 10 she recently did some work on my teeth and I'm having problems. I've had to go to a different dentist and in doing so I found out that she made several mistakes, so FYI, really check her out before you use Dr. grace and believe me if you have a balance on your account her billing department will hound you to no end they will send you threatening letters threaten to garnish your wages. They will threaten you by turning you into collections person is Eden and she is horrible so FYI people out there don't go to Dr. Grace. read more

I've been going to Dental Haven for awhile. Consistently....no, due to my own fears I'm trying to conquere that stem from my dental experiences as a child. But Dr. Grace and her team have been excellent at putting me at ease. I've been going more often than I used to and I can rely on them when I have a dental emergency. I went there yesterday and they have a new dentist, Dr. Angelo. I was having tooth sensitivity and Dr. Angelo came to the rescue! First off I was wrong on which tooth was causing the pain, but he found the source, gave me a filling, and now all the pain is gone. I was surprised at how fast the procedure went. His attention to detail like having his assistnat put vasiline on my lips so they don't get chapped or crack while doing my procedure was much appreciated. Dr. Angelo also did an excellent job with my anesthesia. I didn't feel a thing! One thing I would also add is that I've never had a dental team that communicated so much during my procedures. They let you know when things may be loud, if you might feel pressure, if you might taste something, etc. I think their openness and transperancy really helps me personally with my dental anxiety. Do I hate going to the dentist....YES! But this team definitely makes it easier and helps me feel more comfortable. read more

I've been a patient of Dr Grace for 10 years and I highly recommend her. Dr Grace is so kind, and gentle and is sensitive to my anxiousness about being in the dentist chair. Erin is an expert hygienist and very thorough with cleaning my teeth. When Bianca greets me as I walk in the door, she's always welcoming and friendly. Allison worked on my crown procedure and was very gentle and talked me through the process. I highly recommend Dr Grace and her team! read more

I have been to some Horrible dentist offices. This is not one of them! The staff was so nice. I had a cleaning and first check up! I came in on my lunch and expressed that I was short on time. If I could give them "0" I would . NOT recommend Dental Haven because their dental hygienist is always trying to up sell your treatment. I'm just going in for a cleaning $99 and all of the sudden it's $5000 for a tooth removal, a tooth that's not bothering me? Really? read more

I have seen a slew of dentists from Minneapolis, to New York City, to Boston, and now in northern California. Dental Haven is unequivocably the best dental office I've ever gone to. Furthermore, they are the best medical office of any kind I've encountered in CA. Dr Grace and every member of her team (Olga, Erin, and Bianca) are exceptionally professional, thoughtful, and kind. They provide excellent dental care across the board. They have also made me genuinely cared for as a patient, a person, and as a member of the community. For the first time in my adult life, I feel whole and healthy from a dental perspective. I attribute this fully to this wonderful practice. Thank you Dental Haven, for all that stuff you do. I highly recommend this practice. read more

I was nervous about getting my teeth whitened but after 7 years as their patient, I knew I could trust Dental Haven to fix my smile. Dr. Angelo first whitened my teeth and then replaced some anterior restorations. After the procedure I was in complete shock with the results. My teeth have never looked better, and the color of my teeth have never been so uniform! Dr. Angelo was so careful and meticulous while color matching my restorations to my freshly whitened teeth to make sure each tooth was uniform in color. His careful precision paid off because my smile looked amazing! I really appreciated that Dr. Angelo walked me through each step of the treatment and checked in on my comfort level and sensitivity during each procedure. I know he truly cared about my smile because he continuously asked for my opinion of the shade and color matching of my teeth. Dr. Angelo made me feel comfortable and calm despite how nervous I felt going into the treatment. I am beyond excited about the results and grateful to Dr. Angelo, Bianca, and Dental Haven for my new smile! read more

I saw Dr. Grace (aka- MA CHRISTINA E MANIEGO PC) after previously having a bad experience at another dentist. I had switched insurances so many times that I had been having trouble staying with one dentist. So I picked her based on my insurance option - she was in their preferred list and close to my house. Dr. Grace did my checkup and told me I had 12 cavities and I needed to get them taken care of. She then proceeded to give me the option of getting put to sleep so she could work on my whole mouth, or coming in 4 separate times to work on one side at a time. She said she could show me my x-rays but I wouldn't be able to see anything, the cavities wouldn't show up. She explained that the way she knew that I had cavities is that her instrument (probe) stuck in certain spots on my teeth. This news was shocking. I brush and floss every day and I don't drink soda or eat a lot of sugar. I didn't even have any pain. What is even more alarming is that my previous dentist that I had seen just 8 months ago told me I had one cavity... nothing close to the amount Dr. Grace told me. I left feeling horrible - and thinking that I was going to have to spend almost $500 on my teeth after my insurance paid for their portion. After talking to a close family friend who is a pediatric dentist I began to feel better. She told me that Dr. Grace has a very aggressive way of practicing and that most of the occlusions I had were probably nothing. She said teeth need to be watched to see how they progress over time. I decided to get a second opinion. I made an appointment with a Dr. Marti in Granite Bay; a very good friend referred me. Dr. Marti saw me right away and took a look at my teeth. He used the same method Dr. Grace used with the probe (except he explained the process to me a lot better). What he found proved to me that he was the real deal. With the probe he located the exact tooth I already knew I had a cavity in. He also told me about another tooth he would like to take a second look at just to be sure. I left Dr. Marti's office feeling wonderful and with a second appointment to get my single cavity fixed. At the same time I felt very angry and could only make out two assumptions about the care I received from Dr. Grace: 1) She is working the system and is trying to get more money from the insurance company and me with the total bill for the bogus treatment coming out to $1,356. 2) She is an inexperienced dentist, who doesn't understand how teeth work and in her ignorance picks the most aggressive treatment available. I am not sure which one of these is the case. My advice is, either way...beware. read more

Dental Haven is an amazing place to get all your dental work done! Dr. Grace is very meticulous with her work and is genuinely concerned with your oral health. Her assistant Olga is friendly and very easy to talk to. The dynamic they have is very nice and provides a great environment while you're in the chair. Erin, the hygienist is so incredibly friendly and is really good at what she does. She always wears a smile and puts her best foot forward. The two receptionists, Bianca and Julie are amazing at what they do. They keep an open line of contact with you so there's no guess work as to what your dues will be. They also are very helpful in explaining everything over the phone as well as any questions about paperwork. It really makes my day when I walk in and get to see all of their perfect smiles. I have been going to Dental Haven for a few years now, since we moved into the Roseville area. I have several different procedures done and all have been handled professionally and as expected. Dr. Grace and Erin are both amazing at their job, you couldn't ask for better. They have had some turnover with the other staff, but current staff are great too. The space is comfortable, nicely furnished and clean, with lots of free parking. read more

Amazing dental office! Dr. Grace is very kind, open and honest. All the things I look for in a dentist!

The dentist recently told me needed 7 fillings and 2 crowns. I hadn't been in for awhile so I was expecting a cavity or two, but not that much treatment! I went to another Roseville dentist for a second opinion and he said I only had 1 cavity!! Be careful they will try and rip you off and tell you that you need treatment when you really do not. Also, the front office staff always seem disorganized, confused, and scattered. The even tried to overcharge me and only corrected it when I pointed it out and made a big fuss! Find another dentist, your mouth and wallet will thank you! Edit: per response below, you are violating HIPPA! I will be reporting your office to the state board! read more

I am very disappointed in how they conduct business. I had 2 crowns done which took almost 5 weeks and then to find out one of them has a distal ledge which hasn't redone. She refund money to me, but not back to the dental insurance so I would have to pay in full. Very unprofessional. And she didn't refund the amount I had paid for 2 crowns which was about $800 I only received a check for 237.00 if each crown was about $400 each she has cheated me on this. Please think twice on who you go to for a dentist read more

Had to find a new dentist after a previous moved and took some time to find one that really fit. Dr. Grace is so thorough and was quick to address all my questions and concerns. The next exam after even made sure I had a follow up for my wisdom teeth and stayed updated on how my teeth felt. If I had any issues they said to feel free and call back to come in to have a quick look as easy as that. I decided to try this dental office based on word of mouth because my own dentist that I've been seeing for years failed to make me happy with my dental issues and I must admit that I had the best dental service experience, starting with the office manager, Laura, that represented the office as a friendly and courtious environment, which I found later that day it's 100% true, thank you Laura. With Erin the dental hiegenist I had a painless experience especially when she did scaling, she was very patient with me and provided me with the highest quality service and made sure I understand how to take excellent care of my whole mouth. The dentist, Dr Grace, is super friendly and professional, she's great at what she does! I'm really happy that I finally found a whole team that actually cares about their patients! read more

I'm writing this post due to the treatment from Dr. Grace and her office manager. I went into their dentist because I was new to the area and looking for a reputable dentist. On my first visit I was told I needed a mouth guard and that I needed all kinds of treatment on my gums. I was then told the manager would come in to talk to me. He gave me some ridiculous price and then told me if I paid it right then he could discount the amount. That made me very leery of him and the practice. I know he must be working on commission. Then I brought my son in fir a tooth and was told he needed a root canal and several other things done. Of course this had to be broken into several visits. Again, we were told the mgr. would be in to discuss the price. We were quoted something like 5,000.00 dollars because he had no insurance. But, when his insurance went into affect it would be billed to the insurance company at a higher rate because they don't pay all of it. He couldn't be exact and said we would just have to wait. We went ahead with the initial work and root canal and had to finance the total with a company he highly referred with no interest fir a whole year. Much to my surprise I was approved for 6,000.00 dollars and we could complete all the work with a new crown because I still had 4,000.00 left of my limit. We said no and they said it's interest free for one year. I still declined their offer. Then I get my statement from the company that financed the amount and I noticed different amounts each month. I called the finance company and they said Dr. Grace office had set it up fir 30 days only. From that point it was back and forth with their office and they denied ever doing that but did nothing to make it right. They never gave me a copy of the contract because he forgot to! Long story short I should of went with my feelings and walked away at that point. I will never do business with them and would recommend to stay away because they are out to suck you dry. Never standing behind their work or word. I got so tired of talking to Lawrence the office mgr. just to keep on going in circles. He's definitely out for the money and they don't care how they get it! I would stay away! read more

First off, my gums bled to the point where I could taste blood in my mouth while my teeth were being cleaned. This is not a normal occurrence, and I get my teeth cleaned every six months. I have excellent dental hygiene--I brush twice a day and floss every night. I have a history of cavities stemming from the structure of my teeth, however, I have never needed more than one or two at a time. Dr. Maniega told me I needed twelve, as well as a deep cleaning, an antibiotic, and a mouth guard. I returned to my former dentist and found that I do not need twelve fillings, I need two. Dr. Maniega's team was all set to grab my credit card so I could pay $1,092 out-of-pocket (I have dental insurance) for services I clearly do not need. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, because this is disgusting. read more
