The front office person was kind, friendly and efficient. I was traumatized by an earlier dental experience as a child so I was quite fearful. Dr. McKenzie came out into the waiting room to greet me. He has a quiet, professional and personable affect. He LISTENED to me. He went over my xrays in detail and described what he would do now and the future. He performed the procedure that day. My dental hygienist on the first visit was Eunice, and she was extremely professional and very thorough. Made me feel at ease. Dr. Becker was in to talk to me about the chip I had in my crown and how to replace it. The costs were laid out and the strength of the crown was talked about. I was very pleased. The second visit to have the crown removed and a temporary replacement put in was also great. The replacement was fitted and feels completely like a regular tooth -- no rough edges at all. Elizabeth handled much of the sizing and finishing of the replacement crown and was incredibly good and highly qualified. I couldn't be happier with Sumter Dental Care, and have complete faith in their professionalism and patient care.

I ended up asking for referrals to a good dentist in Venice and now I am scheduled with that new dentist in the first week of April. I will transfer my records and see if the new Doctor, referred by several people from Nextdoor.com and another dental office in Venice, are a good fit for my needs. Dentistry of Venice is my third dentist in Florida for me and my family. At 64 years old its been 60 years since my first trip to the dentist around 4 years old. They are my six dentist, and I hope (and it feels like) I will be with them for a while!! I REALLY consider this to be one of the top dental visits and experiences I have ever had. Dr. Brice is fantastic, his entire staff is AWESOME. Making and appointment painless (until YOU and your family start booking him out and I can't get in there!!!!)
