Everyone was kind and very helpful. They make sure you have time to ask any and all questions. When we began our process from start to finish everyone at this business was extremely accommodating. Unfortunately now that it's super popular they're always completely booked and very slow. The staff always looks confused and it's constantly people waiting hours for service. I had composite veneers completed at Dental Design Smile in April 2025 and have had ongoing issues with the quality of the work and lack of accountability across their offices. After a repair at their New York/Jersey office, my bite was left too high, which caused a lower veneer to debond. When I sought local care, an independent dentist confirmed the veneer was extremely thin and structurally compromised, could not be rebonded, and required a full remake. This indicates a design and fabrication issue with the original work. I have now had to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket, plus travel expenses, to correct problems caused by their work. Communication was poor -- I received little to no response until I disputed a payment. Even then, I was told to travel back to Miami at my own expense despite the issue being caused by a prior repair. This experience has been extremely stressful, costly, and disappointing. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LIES! They will tell you that your initial appt is only 30 mins yet they will have you sitting in a lobby set to -10 degrees for 8 hours before finally putting you in a party bus that smells like vomit or feces with air freshener and cart you to a subpar apartment building in the hood. You will be fitted with yellow plastic, jagged, un buffed temps and charged $60 for cheap toothpaste and mouthwash that you can't fly with due to size. Also, they will try to charge you for cleaning that the dentist said you don't need but would include for free and gum trim which was supposed to be included in original price. They add a day to your wait without offering flight change accommodations and they don't respond via phone once they receive payment. After permanent veneers are placed after another 4-5 hour wait, they rush you out and try to force you to give them good reviews even after they were told that the bite is off and you can't put your teeth together. Also lots of cement was left on the backs of my teeth and the cleaning was never preformed. And now the retainers....they were shipped to me dirty, with sharp jagged and uneven edges that don't visually match my actual teeth or gum line. If the retainers aren't clean, then they're definitely not sanitary! Where is the quality control?! The health department needs to visit OFTEN! I was offered used blankets to keep warm during visits and used saliva and blood covered mouth gauzes from previous patients were wrapped inside and falling onto my lap and the floor before the same blankets were passed to other patients. I did not feel confident nor safe in my decision to use Dental Design Smile on 8th in Miami. I also wasn't given any paperwork on what was being installed, the veneer manufacturers warranty vs the dental office itself. My teeth are still sensitive which isn't normal and either means they removed too much enamel or they didn't seal all areas properly...time will tell. I don't care what it looks like afterwards....the service is inconsistent at best but largely non existent. For this reason, I would never return nor recommend them to anyone else. read more

I previously shared a review of this facility back in May 2025 that was not favorable. After speaking with the owner, I removed it in good faith and something I now regret! Red Flag should have been the bouncer at the front door! I chose this office after seeing beautiful results, happy clients, and what appeared to be reasonable pricing. Unfortunately, my experience has proven that appearances can be deceiving. I began treatment in February with the goal of having my smile completed before my wedding in October 2025. While many staff members are kind, the lack of communication among those handling my treatment has caused significant issues. Several different dentists worked on me, which I initially accepted; however, I later discovered that trainees had performed procedures on me without my approval. My biggest frustration is trying to receive some compensation back from all the appointments I had no idea I would need to attend. I mentioned the additional cost that I incurred because I did not anticipate all these follow up appointments. In some cases, I'm taking Ubers back and forth it's at least 100.00 plus tip each way. The Office Manager, Katia Rosso had the nerve to tell me there would be no way for them to determine how many appointments I would need. I'm calling BS you are the professionals; you have at least 20 patients if not more in and out of that office daily. You know exactly how many visits I would have required. Had you simply shared that information I could have planned accordingly. It has also become VERY clear that some clients receive different levels of care. When I raised this concern, the office manager, Katia Rosso, dismissed my frustration and told me I could seek care elsewhere! Considering that I travel two hours each way, take off of work with no pay, and paid a significant portion in cash, this response felt unprofessional and inconsiderate. Additional concerns include frequent delays, long wait times, poor communication, and an uncomfortably cold office environment. Since May 2025 when I left the office in tears, I have had more than half a dozen additional visits--with more still expected. This information was never disclosed. Had they told me I would looking 10 to 15 appointments in my consultation I would have saved and invested somewhere closer to my home. Lesson learned! I came with an emergency front tooth pain that needed a root canal and a crown, and the Office Manager Katia was so sweet, she made everything possible for me to be seen fast, which was a relief because I was in so much pain. I have a genetic condition that makes my teeth extremely sensitive and fragile, and the doctor that saw me took every care to not cause extra pain, her name is Dr Conde and she was incredible, her assistant was super nice as well, even brought me a blanket because I felt cold. The office is gorgeous, it's super elegant, sparkling clean, and glamorous, and they provide refreshments in case you have a long wait. Every person that treated me, from the front staff, the manager, the doctor, assistants and technicians, treated me with kindness and politely. Dr Conde did an amazing job with a root canal, and my crown was made to match my original tooth exactly, and I mean EXACTLY, so it doesn't look like I have work at all. I have been waiting 3 months to receive the $300 night guards I paid for and have literally called 8 times only to have the phone attendant to say they have been mailed. He gave me a tracking number in which the package supposedly was mailed a month ago. When I asked if I could speak with someone else his response was there is no one else to speak with. I should have known this was going to be a problem when during my initial visit so many people came in to complain about one thing or another. Another red flag is that you are unable to report them to the BBB... trust me I tried. They are all nice until there is an issue and then no one wants to take responsibility. You are required to leave a five star review (they literally watch you type it out) or you will be charged for the apartment that is initially complementary. Today, April 2, 2024 I learned from my new LICENSED dentist that I do not have porcelain veneers. I have zirconia veneers. The beginning: I researched Dental Design Smile and saw that they had tons of followers and over 3000 5 star reviews. After receiving the quote of $9500 I booked my flight. When I arrived in Miami, I was picked up in a beautiful Mercedes sprinter, and came to a very nice office. While waiting for my appointment I noticed they had brochures claiming they do bbls and breast augmentation as well. I thought that was odd but I just knew that my smile was going to look so good after all of the photos I have seen. The doctor informed me that I would need two crowns on my front teeth, and two crowns on my bottom teeth with the possibility of four and a root canal because they were so crowded. After waiting three hours they asked me if I can come back the next day because they would not get me in the chair until 6 PM at night and the dentist wants to go home but they can prepare my teeth first thing in the morning. I politely agreed. During preparation, the dentist said that the other doctor was wrong and I do not need crowns or a root canal and shaved all of my teeth down for regular veneers. At the time I was happy because I was not looking forward to a root canal lol. I was provided temporary teeth and came back for my installation on Friday. After waiting another couple of hours after my appointment time, I was finally seen by Dr. Ingrid who is great at first but when I told her that my bite wasn't right, she quickly got an attitude since she already had her purse and keys in her hand, ready to go, since it was 6 o'clock in the evening. I immediately started crying because my teeth were so sensitive. I just knew something wasn't right she said what are you talking about? They look so beautiful. Basically telling me you're being dramatic. Which they do look very good, but I can feel the air on my teeth when I talk. I left Miami the next morning. Two weeks later, while at Morton's in California, my veneer fell off while eating a piece of cake. I called Dental design smile and let them know what happened and that's when the real horror story began. The lady had such an attitude with me like it was my fault the veneer fell off, but it was covered under warranty, so I booked my flight back and learned that they will not be giving me any rides or an apartment this time around , since I took the time and money to pay for another trip to Miami just three weeks later, I decided that I wanted to have my front teeth replaced with crowns since the sensitivity was unbearable and to go ahead and do the bottom two crowns because honestly I just wanted what I paid for. The doctor said no you just need to shave them down to fix your bite and we'll put on the other veneer that fell out. I said no I do not want my teeth to fall off again I want to get everything fixed and not have to come back they agreed and I had to chase them all week to get an appointment because they said they would call me back and never did. They actually lost my veneers/ crowns, I had to wait for them to be remade I finally got them installed. When I got back home, I noticed that one of my bottom crowns was loose so I got a second opinion and learned that it is in fact loose, and my gums are extremely irritated because zirconia is not as acceptable to the mouth as real porcelain is. When the doctor installed my veneers I wasn't aware that he was putting a temporary bridge, he said I would be able to come back and get my veneers soon. The temp ended up breaking and I flew out to Miami again all the way from vegas to get it fixed. A different doctors, also the same doctor who missed the fact that the tooth was loose from first evaluation said I wouldn't be able to get the veneers because of the loose tooth, and continued to tell me I had to pay another $4,000for implants etc which I never wanted or agreed to. Well this week I scheduled a regular cleaning (no X-rays /no cavity filling, NOTHING) and they inform me on arrival (Not over the phone while booking the appointmen) and that the cleanings are now $250 for a REGULAR CLEANING. I was so pissed because not only did I waste gas, I wasted time! I would not recommend this place to anyone and sadly enough I had several friends waiting to hear about my experience to go. I have been in communication with Dental Design during the month of May to take advantage of the $1,000 off promotion for the porcelain teeth. I told them I would be coming from MD and would need to coordinate time off work, airfare, hotel stay, and car rental so I needed them to be on point with there timeline to get my teeth done. They advised me this process would take 2 weeks so we scheduled my 3 appointments during the month of July for the install. July 1st I sent them an email confirming if they were still open due to the Covid restrictions increasing in Florida and they assured me they were and everything was good to go. However when I arrived they asked me extend my stay 3 or 4 more days which was not an option but it got workout. I was quoted $12,150.00 for everything. I declined services in the amount of $2,500 so that left my balance at $9,650. I authorized a $1,000 in May for the promotion they were running so if they applied there 1,000 then I should have only paid $7,960 all total as my final bill when I arrived to Miami. When realized what happened I immediately brought this to the office manager attention; Katina Rosso thinking this was an easy fix. I explained that I never got the promotion and over paid. She initially said we ran your payment June 2nd so you were not eligible for the $1,000 promotion. I went to my email to show her when I sent my credit card info and she was able to confirmed on her end that they received my email May 29th. Then she says well you didn't attached your license and credit card in that email so we never ran it. I told her I didn't know if they wanted it attached to that email because of all the personal information however once they confirmed where I needed to send it I sent my information on June 1 and they processed the payment June 2nd. I told Katina I have an entire email thread of me discussing the $1,000 promotion so if I was no longer eligible then why did they run my payment? She then changed her story and said I did get the discount. I told her I did not and she refused to explain my bill. Then she literally made up a price saying my case was a $10,000 and we took a $1,000 off and that's why you paid $9,650. This made no since being that I have a flyer showing the starting price for the porcelain teeth at $9,000, an email from them saying the starting price is $9,000, and my receipt from them showing $9,000 on it???? I was literally in disbelief that this lady would insult my intelligence this way. I told her several times to show me the discount and she refused. I am an African American women and I hate to play the race card, but do we look that stupid? . This was easy math so why would Katina do me like this after I came all this way. I almost felt like my friends had secretly put me on Punk to make a fool of me on live TV for a joke; seriously. However after 45 mins of going back and forth with KATINA ROSSO!!!!! The best idea she came up with was to charge me for everything that was done up until that point and send me back to Maryland with fake teeth in my mouth (I SWEAR I AM NOT MAKING ANY OF THIS UP) All because I asked her to show me where I got my discount. I am unsure of how they removed my previous review. DO NOT GO HERE. They allow dental assistants to do work they should NOT be doing. Veneers came off within a few months. Some were over cemented. After going to another local cosmetic dentist, basically had to do everything over! Almost 20k. I requested my records. It's been months they have not mailed because they know I'm filing complaints with the board. I suggest anyone else do the same. I am also vigorously reaching out to the media. This type of medical tourism is as big as BBLs. I won't stop until someone picks it up or they return my money. I documented EVERYTHING!! names, dates, etc. They even tried to bully me by saying I owe them money!!! How??? You would never have completed my services owing a balance. You all got the right one. I'm not going away until I receive my refund. I will contact each person on here with a negative review and ask if they are willing to speak with media as well. It's not just subpar work, but going against Florida law having ppl do things they are not legally able to do. I have requested call backs. My records and to discuss refund and you all just block me from your Instagram and give me the run around. We'll I got time now. Worst experience I've ever had first they gave me an appointment at 4 p.m. then once I arrived to the place I was told to go they said that because I am a first time patient I needed to go to another location that's about 15 min away from where I got dropped off. I explained to the guy in the front desk no one told me I needed to go to a different location but I'm already here and I have an appointment for 4 p.m. so they said they will call me a transportation that never ended up coming after waiting in the office for 2 hours. Then the guy here tells me they can see me for the Cleaning after waiting 2 full hours.... After they finally sat me down and made me sign all the forms then they tell me they can't see me because the lady that checks insurance already left so I have to pay $150 to get my cleaning when I get 2 free cleanings a year with my insurance plan. Then they say that they can't do the job at all after I've been sitting here for almost 3 hours now. The people here are very rude and didn't care that I wasted my time they just kept saying I have to pay and didn't care that I'm leaving in vacation tomorrow for 4 weeks and my teeth hurt and I needed this cleaning so bad and they said I have to go home... at the end I never got my cleaning but they kept me in their office for 3 hours and made me give my social and all my information just to tell Me go home. read more

I come here for my cleanings. They are super gentle and they clean your teeth nicely. I am terrified of dentist and every time i come i have a good experience. They have gotten better with wait time my app was at 9am and i got there at 825 by 835 i was called in and seen. read more
