Yelp once again came to the rescue and based off of reviews I knew this was the place to come to. I originally called and they asked me to text pictures and a video. I came to my appointment which was supposed to last for 2 hours. I was greeted and was sitting in the lobby waiting for my truck to get fixed. After 20 minutes they came and got me and it was fixed to perfection! If you have a small dent or a door ding this is the place for you. I highly recommend this place.

He was friendly, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable about BMWs. He came fully equipped, got straight to work, and took photos of each repair as he completed them, which I really appreciated. What really stood out was that he went above and beyond. He fixed an additional warped spot on my door that I had not even planned on addressing and buffed out an area where I had previously used touch up paint. The results were outstanding. I would not hesitate to hire him again and already plan to have him work on my wife's X5. Highly recommend.

The owner is honest, upfront, and reasonable, and there was never a point that I doubted his ability to care for my truck the same as if it were his own. If you have dings and dents, this is the guy. After a hail storm passed through the far west side of San Antonio, I found myself counting the dents in the two-month-old truck in my driveway. The hood, roof, and passenger side all suffered dime-sized dings from the 10-minute hail storm. I counted around 20 and quickly sought out a paintless dent repair expert to fix them. I submitted a request via Yelp and was contacted by a few companies that were body shops outsourcing hail damage repair in their shops. I wasn't impressed with the pictures or their negative reviews, so I continued my search and found Dent Free Image Mobile Paintless Dent Repair. I was impressed by the reviews and the associated photos, so I reached out and was called back to schedule an appointment. I met the owner, Peter, who was honest and likable from the moment I met him. He took his time conducting a quality assessment of my truck and noted all dings, which ended up totaling 60. I had my vehicle back in two business days, and it looked like there was never any hail damage. I don't have photographs from before and after, but I was present for the assessment and saw all the dings. I was amazed at how many there were! I took the same careful eye to assess the repair with Peter, and there wasn't a ding to be found. I am so grateful for Peter's honest and fair assessment; my 2025 truck looks just like when I bought it.

My experience with 5 Star Auto Hail Repair was absolutely amazing. They repaired over 400 dings of…read morehail damage on the hood and at least 300 on the roof. I had a horrible experience that led me to the shop, which was that I was scammed and the previous person destroyed the cosmetic appearance of the vehicle, they sanded it down when it didn't even need to be sanded, because it needed only paintless dent repair and not a new paint job, took off all interior door panels, door handles, and most other parts of the the vehicle were taken off and thrown in the back and it wasn't even driveable. None of the hail was repaired, there were multiple dings, and the scammer said they would replace hood and did not (the hood didn't even need replaced, only repaired.) Shawn, the owner at 5 Star has made my car look BRAND NEW. He took it upon himself to tell his team what had happened to me, and made a decision to help me out best financially any way he could. He saved me close to $2,000, he even did an interior deep detail without even being asked because of so much dust in the vehicle from the previous person. He re painted the whole car and the paint job is flawless. There were multiple loose parts broken from the previous person that 5 star had to call around to get replaced; and every single thing was put back in its place. When I saw the vehicle fixed I couldn't believe it was made to look like how I first bought it. This business is worth every penny and then some! Here are pictures before the repair and the one after.
