He stated he didn't know anything about my insurance coverage and refused to perform the basic cleaning. I later learned that his recommended cleaning came with an out-of-pocket expense of at least $100. The second red flag came when he displayed my X-rays on the big screen. He went over every tooth and recommended replacing old silver fillings with cosmetic white ones, along with several other costly procedures. I had actually went to another orthodontist's office about two or three years ago for them to tell me that even after having braces that I would need to be in them for at least two years and that the total would be around $5500 for traditional braces. I walked out of there and told them don't call me, I will call you. I'm not going to mention their name in this review. But they even offered to put the braces on my teeth, same day. Like I said, don't call me. I'll call you. I walked into this office with a completely different impression. From the moment I made a phone call to try to find the location, to the moment I stepped through the door and Sandi and Ashley greeted me so openly and warmly letting me know who had spoken with me on the phone regarding my appointment previously lol. And they were so warm with beautiful smiles and beautiful faces and it was just warm. I was received immediately by the new patient coordinator, Mrs. Kelly and she was such a warm and welcoming addition. She took all of my new patient notes to explain to the doctor what I needed and we had a grand time for about 10 to 15 minutes, which is all it took. And then I got to meet Dr. Ricci. This man came in the room and showed me my pictures, showed me the few imperfections that I had and showed me where I had room to improve and called me a unicorn lol I have all four of my wisdom teeth. And I asked him if he was saying that my mouth was big. He proceeded to tell me no, my teeth are small lol we had a great little laugh at that. But this man did something that no orthodontist or dentist has ever done and I so appreciate him for it. He told me that for him to come up with a Braces plan for me is not necessary. He said to fix the gaps that are giving me the blues in the front of my mouth. The only thing that was needed was light filler or veneers on two teeth. I actually was in a silent stupor period because I was not understanding that this man was telling me that my teeth still looked great and even with what I was noticing, even though he could have charged me an arm and a leg for a two-year plan on Braces I did not need them.
