Dennys Carwash was a great experience! The attendant was a really nice guy and went out of his way to help make sure my car was thoroughly clean. I appreciated his friendly service and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend Dennys Carwash and will be coming back again! read more

Midweek special -$1 off of any drive thru service. Right now the price for an express wash is $8, so that makes it $7 Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Quick, convenient. Please don't set your expectations too high. For everyone writing poor reviews on a basic drive thru wash... for sure 100% your car will most likely be cleaned better using a professional detail car wash service. Let's not compare this service to that because at Denny's they do not offer that level of elite service. If you're looking just for a quick car wash fix that isn't too expensive, then this is it. read more

Can't complain! I always get what I pay for here. My only minor feedback is that the drying cycle could be a bit better, and it doesn't always strip off really hard, stuck-on dirt, though that's to be expected with a quick drive-thru car wash. Overall, it's a solid, reliable choice for a quick rinse. read more

I'm not complaining about the wash itself. It's $12 -- nobody expects perfection. But at the very least, you expect them NOT to damage your car. This place scratched my rims during a basic wash. The scratches were not there before, and they were immediately noticeable after I left. This is clearly caused by careless equipment or improper handling. Completely unacceptable. A cheap wash is not an excuse to damage someone's property. If they can't wash a car without scratching it, they shouldn't be operating at all. Be careful bringing your car here, especially if you care about your wheels. read more

This place crashed my husband's car into the cinder block wall because they guy didn't know how to work a stick shift. Eventually they paid for damages and the rental car. As they should! Been there forever doesn't make it amazing. Just saying. read more

A business owner making it right. I had an issue with the machine turning off 5 mins before the advertised 9 pm cut off. Within a couple of days of leaving a voicemail, I received a text from Joey who apologized for the machine stopping early. He refunded my money and threw in a few coupons. read more

Great customer service at a great price. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I have the unlimited monthly subscription for $25 and it's wonderful when you need a quick wash. They also have a middle of the week (Tue-Thur) self wash special $2.25 for 4 min. Usually busy but well worth the wait! read more

I love this drive-through car wash! They make it so easy and the people that work there are so nice!

Make sure you swing by the days Saul is working! I've been coming to this car wash for a couple years now and Saul always makes sure to clean a little extra than anyone else. I tip him as well but even without a tip I've seen him do great work and clean as thoroughly as he can. For the price it's a great deal especially with Saul. Thank you so much Saul and I hope I continue to see you every time I come by! :) read more

Nice car wash to go to for a quick drive thru or self service. The drive thru is $12 now but they have deals on weekdays I believe Tuesday-Thursday for $1 off. The person actually helps scrubs down the cars before going into the drive thru wash which is super helpful to get your car extra clean! They even try to get the tough spots out before sending you in! read more

Denny's Car Wash - Car Wash Near Me - Northridge, California

I'm giving this place 5 stars because it only cost $8 and the quality of service I received for $8 was exceptional. I needed to get my car washed but, due to the upcoming rain, I didn't want to spend the money for a detailed car wash. So, I figured I would just go to a drive-through. This was the closest one to me at the time, so I decided to pay it a visit. I was not expecting it to only cost $8, nor was I expecting there to be an attendant there to help out, which was a nice bonus. All and all, great service received for the price, so much so that it compelled me to write a review. read more

Too expensive.... I was looking for a quick rinse so I used this car wash for around 3 min to satisfy the credit card minimum requirement and I was charged $10 dollars flat , even tho I stopped at 3:45.... I usually go to a different car wash where they charge you $5 for 14 min , this is the last time I come here , they also let people towel dry their vehicles inside of the washing station while other people are waiting ... read more

I've been here many times and it's always been good. But today I haphazardly met the guy who fixes and maintains the machines behind the scenes. He was really cool- went out of his way to be kind. AND he makes the place hum. That blower for drying your vehicle after you wash is a HIT! Works like a charm. Great lil self car-wash and my baby likes it . read more

The self service wash area is just trash. They never have any cleaning products in the lines and half the time something is just broken. At that point you're just pressure washing your car with water for $10. Just sad, get it together read more

I've only used the express wash, but it is better than the one at a gas station I normally use. For the price of a standard wash, they do a bit of a pre-wash with a big soapy wand, and that seemed to help knock off a lot of dirt. The entrance is a bit confusing because for the express wash, you need to enter from the alley. read more

I decided to wash my car after over a year. I gave nice tip to a guy at start line, when I came home I got out and looked at my car, it was still very dirty! I almost laugh. I guess after not washing over year all the dirt must have bake? onto my car. I ended up scrub and polish myself. While ago I used this place and it was OK, but IF YOUR CAR IS VERY DIRTY, I RECOMMEND DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!! read more

Thank you for fixing the air thing.. I didn't leave w soap on my car the past two times:)

Quick, easy and the staff is always friendly!!! They have fun disco lights which I still enjoy as an adult. Definitely recommend.

I went to express car wash paying $7. My car was not completely clean after the wash like when I go to a regular car wash spending over $30, but it was a huge money/time saver! Loved it. read more

I always go to this car wash... stopped going to a regular car wash years ago.. they are always polite. I give a dollar tip to the guy every time and my car always comes out fine.. I just wish the dryer would stay on Longer, as I always have to pull next door and finish drying the car. read more

Denny's Car Wash - After the ultimate wash - Car Wash Near Me - Northridge, California

I started coming to this location, after years of not using it for no reason other than locale. I must say that this is a great quality quick car wash for every vehicle. The attendants are always courteous and professional. The car wash is safe and leaves your car very well washed. It is a great value for your dollar! If you are in the area and need a quick car wash, then this is the place to visit. read more

Finally found a drive thru car wash near me. I usually go to wild wash in van Nuys but this place is a Greta substitute. From what I recall, from Tuesday-Thursday they have 1 dollar off specials from their selection of car washes. The line can be long and you'll need to approach the alley via the first mini street if you're going southbound on balboa. You can only form the line facing south in the alleyway. It can be a tight squeeze but it's worth it. They accept credit cards and cash. There is an attendant who will first scrub your car once it's latched onto the conveyer thingy. I always tip 1-2 dollars because he's there all day scrubbing cars. They also give a wet wipe for cleaning the interior. Like other reviews have said, the air dryer isn't the best so you should dry your car in the residential area with a cloth that you own. I don't think vacuuming is free like other places read more

It's open again. Self wash and drive through available. Premium wash is $11.99, regular $9.99 and express is $6.99. All throughout April $1.00 off for it's reopening promotion. The wash attendants are usually friendly. The best way to access the wash is going through the alley way on Balboa between the tire center and what use to be Education Station. There is a line off to the right before driving up to the wash, wait for the attendant to signal before driving up. Tip the attendant for a stronger scrub down. read more

I always get the "super wash" for $7, and use the check-in code provided by yelp, so I end up paying $6. I know there are some car washes out there that will offer a more thorough hand wash for a couple bucks more, but this place is so hassle free and fast. Also, because it is just a drive thru machine wash, you don't have to tip, so it really is the best value you're gonna get if you need a quick car wash. As far as the end result, it's definitely not a perfectly clean car, but it's well worth the money. read more

This is a horrible car wash. I bought the top of the line wash package with all the bells and whistles. My car came out soaking wet which resulted in droplets stains. There were neon colored stains where the tri color wax and bright green soap hadnt been rinsed off. And I had these disgusting blue rivulettes runnin under every seam of my car. ( I.e where the doors were under the edge of the good and trunk) etc. So I drove back to talk to the attendant who was especially creepy with his mustache and awkward stares. anyways i asked him to run my car through again even if it was just a rinse. He refused and said I would have to pay again. I've been coming here since high school. It's always been a quick way to get my car washed off and afresh wax. It is a drive through wash so I never go there expecting to get a detailed job done. I understand that but as I've watched the prices climb and quality drop I must say they have officially lost my business. I'd rather run over the Devonshire and reseda and get a Hand wash for $7 in 20 mins. At least I won't have to worry about chemical stains on my car. read more

Oh my god, I do not like being in the car while this is happening but this place does the trick. You just roll on it, tell them what you want, then put your car in neutral and ride the ride. Afterwards, your car is going to be look at least 5 times better. It won't be sparkling and completely flawless, but this is a good place to come to if you need to get a car wash, you don't have time and you just want to get it over with. I'm coming back. Especially because California won't let us wash our own cars now. Boo. But yes, 3 stars for this place because it's A-OK. read more

A waste of my time an $10! I didn't realise I had to come with a barrel of quarters to use the vacuums and other features. Not even a quarter machine or attendant to assist?! Wtf! After my car did the soo called "ultimate wash" it left with green soap still on it! And soap spuds still on my mirrors. Oh but hey the guy gave me a wet towel yayaya. Don't be a cheap skate. You'll waste money read more

I've only tried the self wash and it's pretty neat. It's $2.50 for every 4mins or $10 for 16mins. There are several hoses that do different things: Tire/engine cleaner, pre-soak, soap, rinse, rainbow foams, sealers, clear coats and air dry. All you have to do is pull up your car to the cleaning area, deposit cash or use a credit card, and start washing. There's a nob which you turn that activates the different stages of cleaning (the nobs corresponding numbers and descriptions are on a poster on the wall). When you're done just hit the stop button. If you want to vacuum your car you have to pull it up to the next slot and it costs $1.25 (coins only!). Also, they have vending machines which you can buy towels (I would bring my own) if you need to dry your car more, air fresheners, armoral, etc. (coins only). The self wash is basically like washing your car in the drive way but with all the things you need provided. Also yes, you may get a little wet. I recommend this to people who like do it yourself things and want to get precise with cleaning. Otherwise, they have an express wash for people who rather do that. read more
