So let me clarify this review - this was more of a novelty experience than anything else. Our 3 yr…read moreold son was in desperate need of a haircut before the big Christmas family dinner! My husband found Wagner's on a google search and thought it would be funny to take our son, so we drove over and I popped my head in the gated entry to ask if they could take him and they were very accommodating and were able to get him right away. It was entertaining being in this 2 chair trailer of a shop with what sounded like a rather HUGE dog barking in the background. I wish I could have popped my head into the gun shop, but there was no way I was going to stress our son out more than I had. Keep in mind this was our son's 1st experience with going to a barber, so he was very nervous and wide-eyed about the entire experience, but the gentleman who cut our son's hair with a vacuum razor was very good and patient with him during the 5-10 minutes it took to cut his hair. $10 bucks later the mission / goal of the visit was accomplished - our little boy had received his 1st official hair cut ... walking out with some hanging strands, a few chop marks and a little patch on the side of his head - he survived. Fortunately my in-laws had a pair of scissors I was able to use to even the cut out and blend the patch in on the side of his head. Novelty of the situation was worth 5 stars. The gentlemen who cut our son's hair was lovely - very patient and friendly ... but doesn't appear they cut many children's hair (outside of just giving them a standard buzz cut). Would love to go back and see the gun shop side of the business ... but will give the haircut a pass next time we're in town.

Out of curiosity I decided to check into this business today while running some errands downtown…read more The outside sign said the business name was "All About You", a cosmetology salon. Inside it appears there are other business suites such as an Insurance business. There is a directory on the wall to guide you to the business suite you are looking for. The first door I came to was a hair salon. I took a peek inside and was greeted by a friendly hairstylist, her name is Gabe. I informed her I had never been inside before and was wondering what type of services were available as far as the cosmetology. She invited me to come in and took me to the next room to meet the owner. I told them I saw their listing on Yelp, but there were no previous reviews and I would like to to do a review on them if she would like. Gabe went back to tend to her customer in the other room and I thanked her. The owner was painting a young girl's fingernails, while the mother waited and there was one other customer sitting in a large chair used for pedicures with the whirlpool attachment. There were two of these nice pedicure chairs. That's about the only feeling of "nice" I got...the owner would not even take a second to look up at me and said "I don't have time for this, I'm running behind". Seriously... I didn't ask for a full blown interview! I was taken back by her response, looked around briefly and went back up to the hair salon. I looked at hair sprays to see what products they sell and they carry Kenra products. These were a little higher price than what I normally see for these type of sprays. I thanked Gabe for her time and asked if she took walk-ins and she indicated since she was currently the only stylist and her schedule did not permit it. The customer promptly said, but she (Gabe) is worth the wait! I said I have a regular lady that cuts my hair, but would definitely consider her sometime. I did notice signs that said they were looking for another stylist and Gabe confirmed that. The hair salon portion of the business was very roomy, clean, and I think I saw 4 styling chairs, along with hair dryers and the typical hair styling supplies you normally find in a hair salon. I am disappointed that my visit with the owner, was not more positive as I certainly would have considered trying her business, but most likely will not attempt that in the future. I would however, give Gabe a try if I ever need to try a new hair stylist. Hopefully, someone else going into the Cosmetology business as a customer will have a better experience than I did. I left feeling that this business was "not all about me" so I would have to disagree with the name of this business. I will break this review into two sections: Cosmetology - 3 stars for cleanliness, cute shop, and sold some cute little jewelry items, but need to knock off a couple stars for the unfriendly welcome. Hair Solon - 4 stars - since I cannot attest to the quality of the services. The room was clean, cool, and Gabe was warm and friendly and I would consider her as a hair stylist. Overall, this would be rated 3.5 stars in my humble opinion. Review #14/2016
