At this point I was satisfied. Then 8 days later I found myself flying thru a red light and right into traffic The brake lines went out With my 7 yr old in the backseat I was livid But I do realize what AS IS means so I had them fixed Then 7 days later the car shut off in traffic Once again another scary ass situation I also received my title and noticed that there was about 1200$ in overcharges on my sales bill So I called Mike and after discussing everything he agreed to refund me $300. My vehicle at this point was broken down and I had to have a mobile mechanic come look at it I was told the vehicle needed a crankshift sensor replaced and there were 7 other codes showing and it was leaking antifreeze Mike is a nice guy but I'm wondering how a nice guy could be selling essential DEATH TRAPS I had the sensor replaced and the car still isn't starting All of this and I haven't even received my hard plates yet I am terrified to even drive this car after all of these incidents I asked Mike to swap me out a new vehicle He refused I have contacted my attorney But I feel that people should know the kinds of cars he is selling I wanted a car that was safe and reliable I got a scary "death trap" Buyer Beware!!!

I just got done with an incredibly disappointing experience with Valley Industrial Trucks where…read moreabout 2 months ago our electric tow motor stopped working. My foreman called Valley and they took our tow motor and dropped off a loaner. My foreman, who has a broken foot, wasn't in the back like normal and wasn't using the tow motor... and with a unit here that was working (the loaner), it slipped his mind to follow up on it. Fast forward a month and a half and I (the owner) stepped in after seeing the situation. There was no communication from Valley and I had to figure out what was going on. My understanding is that our tow motor needed all new batteries and a new control board when I made the phone call. I was told that they would get back to me on costs. Another two weeks went past and I made another phone call. I was told 'sorry for not getting back to you' and then said they couldn't repair our tow motor. Then I was told that I was going to be 'very happy' with an offer to buy the unit that was the loaner... only $16,000 and that they'd knock off $500 for the scrap value of our unit. Needless to say, not happy, and I told them to return our unit and take theirs. I got a bill for $1,600 for the rental of the loaner unit which I'm going to pay to make go away, but this situation would have ended in a much better resolution and cost my company a lot less had Valley just communicated to us and were on top of the repair. I'm so disheartened by the unfolding of events and put the blame partially on my foreman but also the company that didn't follow through with communicating. I had to instigate the follow-up twice which I shouldn't have had to do. Caveat Emptor.
