The statute of limitations was about to expire, and I felt that I was running out of time. I had called everywhere and tried every avenue I could think of before I was finally referred to David Degnan. I am extremely grateful that I found him. I scheduled a free 15-minute consultation with David, but once he understood the extent of the damage and the urgency of the situation, he continued speaking with me for nearly 45 minutes. He was never in a hurry, never made me feel rushed, and did not charge me for the additional time. He listened carefully, treated me with respect, and offered meaningful guidance at a time when I felt overwhelmed and unsure of what to do next. Rather than encouraging me to spend money unnecessarily, David gave me practical advice and helped me understand how I could move forward on my own at that stage. He also told me that if I needed him later in the process, he would be happy to represent me. That meant a great deal to me because I felt he was genuinely looking out for my best interests rather than simply trying to obtain a paying client. I ultimately filed the case myself, using much of the advice he generously provided, and the matter is now moving forward. What stood out to me most was not only his knowledge, but also his kindness, patience, and genuine concern. As a senior citizen dealing with a stressful and complicated situation, I felt respected, heard, and valued. David is a caring and compassionate attorney, and I will always appreciate the time, guidance, and reassurance he gave me when I truly needed it.

(ZERO STARS!!!)HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE LAW FIRM!! TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS!! The following…read moreare the TWO FACTUAL EVENTS that occured (a few more, but in the interest of time I've limited it), so, please read on and you can then decide for yourself if you'd ever care to have such slippery snakes in the grass ever represent you, and then turn around and get bit. I base my above stated personal opinion and warning upon the following FACTS: #1. My partner and I were represented by this firm in regards to the 2015 (completely settled in 2018) real estate related civil suit filed in Maricopa County, AZ. This firm consistently generated on their own, and sent me MULTIPLE account statements, over a multitude of months, indicating and assuring me I had a ZERO balance, YEP, ZERO, and I never heard another word from them, as one would expect.... end of story?? NOT EVEN CLOSE!!! Any reasonable thinking human being would be led to that conclusion, BUT this doesn't describe reasonable thinking individuals. Well, fast fwd almost a year later after receiving all the ZERO balance statements, only to get served with a surprise lawsuit in 2025 (by this owns firms Partner's little shady side hustle "collection agency LLC" PROFESSIONAL ACCEPTANCE LLC), making outlandish claims that we still owed some sort of debt, via an "assigned" debt from this firm. SAME BAD ACTORS, just conveniently operating under this new name. Worst yet, they had all of our current contact info, yet instead of simply reaching out and even attempting to resolving the matter or clear things us they just plowed right ahead to run us over without any warning (I warned you this would involve unreasonableness). It should also be noted that my partner hadn't been ever contacted in any way by anyone since 2018, NOPE, not even a single time. #2 (Can't even make this kind of stuff up, it actually happened possibly due either outright harassment/vindictiveness or a data breach/breach of confidential client information) This firms partners, acting through and on behalf of their "collection LLC", took my partners PERSONAL INFORMATION and filed and publicized it in completely unrelated Court pleadings, which is a public forum, that had absolutely NOTHING what so ever to do with them, nor involved them in any way, shape or form, in support of asking the Court to approve Alternative Service for one of their other "victims" that they were having trouble getting served with their latest lawsuit, outright falsely claiming that my partners info had anything at all to do with this person. So, you can plainly see what lengths they'll go to. **BEST PART OF ALL THIS: When all of the above stated was brought to their attention, they flat out refused to even respond or offer to correct THEIR ERRORS and instead insisted upon proceeding with the lawsuit, flat out refusing to acknowledge correct THEIR mistakes or be held accountable for any of their egregious actions. Completely UNETHICAL on SO many levels in my opinion and only goes to show what a complete lack of moral fiber and integrity looks and acts like. *PM me and I'll be more than happy to provide all documentation. **cross-posting on multiple platforms and finishing up dedicated website in order to warn other unknowing possible innocent victims like ourselves.

Osborn Rd. suite 109 Phoenix, Arizona 85014 PH: (602) 965-9555 Dean@Dean-oconnor.com On November of 2014, I interred into a verbal agreement with Dean O'Connor to represent me in a Family Law case FC2005-011856. On November of 2014, I gave him $1000.00. Although this was a flat free for a $1,000.00, I did provide additional money on 03/19/2015 $500.00 and on 04/03/2015 $500.00 and on 05/ 18/2016 $1,000.00 and on 05/31/2016 $250.00 to perform the follow duties that were agreed to: 1. Counsel shall draft a proposed pursuant to Court order outlining the therapist's duties and submit it to the Court. (Dean O'Connor did not perform this duty as hired.) 2. Help guide Valentyna through therapy to complete a good evaluation. (Dean O'Connor did not perform this duty as hired.) 3. Once a good evaluation has been obtained from the psychologist, O'Connor shall prepare and file a Motion for reconsideration for visitation at my home from Thursday through Sunday. (Dean O'Connor did not perform this duty as hired.) 4. Dean O'Connor also was obligated in this agreement to file a Contempt of Court Order against Mr. Sprinkle for not providing Court Order phone visitation on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. (Dean O'Connor did not perform this duty as hired.) Further more, one of Dean O'Connor's selling points was that he would always provide Valentyna with free consultation. In fact, he has inferred on many occasions that he was doing me a big favor for not charging me for reading e-mails and talking to me over the phone and in person. But in his accounting of the fees, he doses just that he bills Ms. Sprinkle for phone calls, e-mails, and in person interviews. Note: The only things disgusted in these contacts were why he was not performing his contractual duties. The above agreement was estimated By Dean O'Connor at 5 to 8 hours - a maximum of $1600. AS A FLAT RATE (See agreement between attorney and client date Nov. 14, 2014 attached to this complaint.) Note: This was verbal and PARTLY CONTRACTIUAL -not all wrote out. The second half of the contract was never signed by Valentyna for $200.00 hour. Although, she did not agreed to $200.00 an hour O'Connor tried to charge her $250.00 hour for e-mails, phone calls, and in person talks relating to why he was not doing what the court order requires of him and what she hired O'Connor for. More over, the nine motions that O'Connor did file were so frivolous that the court barred Ms. Sprinkles (not in full but in part) from filling any more motions- basically, increased the criteria that she needs to meet. In fact, the motions were only a rehashing of old motions that where filed by other attorneys. Obviously, the issues were already heard and denied. The question is why would an attorney file motions that he knows or should have known would be rejected by the court, and why wouldn't he fallow the criteria the court clearly lead out for Ms Sprinkle to follow and to show the courts that she was confident to request her contact visitation back. THE COURT NOTES that the Court would consider whether Mother is ready for unsupervised visitation once the therapy has started and initial reports have been provided to the Court from Mother's therapist (or other authorized individual)." (Page3 paragraph 3). T0 sum up Dean O'Conner was provided a total of $3,250.00 to perform his contractual duties above 1 through 4. Dean O'Conner DID NOT outline the therapist's duties and submit it to the Court. Dean O'Conner DID NOT Help guide Valentyna through therapy to complete a good evaluation. Although Dean O'Conner prepare and file a Motion for reconsideration for visitation at my home from Thursday through Sunday, he did not follow courts criteria's for reconsideration. Dean O'Connor DID NOT file a Contempt Rule 92 Rules of Family Law Procedure of Court Order against Mr. Sprinkle for not providing Court Order phone visitation on every Wednesday at 5:00 p.m... On numerous occasions Ms. Sprinkle requested for contempt motions to be filed. Although one motion was filed, O'Connor withdraws before the hearing took place without confirm his client of the continued the hearing unreasonable

To summarize the entire nightmare this place wanted me to sign a stipulated judgment on a lawsuit…read morefiled by one of those debt buyers (who never attempted to contact me to advise they purchased) that had been dismissed 5 days prior! That reflects the zero effort put into my representation. When I had my initial meeting with them they summarized the same exact terms of the stipulations this was even after I gave him my financial profile as I'm retired living on Social Security with no additional income with both my income and bank account exempt from garnishing or levies. I was looking for a payment plan or settlement that included dismissal of this suit. I understand the representation was limited in scope & the attorney stated more than once the $796 I paid him was nothing & other firms would cost double for this but not to the point where there was zero effort in an attempt to negotiate which by the way per the retainer does include negotiating. Regardless of the back story the end result was this firm who was supposed to be representing me and my interests to some extent was pushing me on July 7th to sign a Stipulated Judgment on a case that had been dismissed on July 2nd. That's an enormous mistake.
